OPK was positive...when did I actually ovulate?

My first cycle using femometer rapid test strips twice a day and the results were:

11/03: am and pm - both very negative (line was barely visible)
12/03: am and pm - again very negative
13/03: am and pm - negative, although line seemed slightly more visible than previously during the night test
14/03: negative in the morning but definitely a clear, strong positive at night
15/03: strong positive in the morning at 7:00 AM and just before bed at around 9:30 PM
16/03: negative in the morning with the line back to being very faint

I am confused now as to whether I should use the first positive day (14th) or the day when it was positive all day (15th) when calculating dpo? Confused

@Whatshouldicallme using OPKs won't give you a definitive answer on when you ovulated as it could happen 12-72 hours after you get a peak. The only way to tell what day you ovulated exactly is to temp chart.

Oh, I see -- thanks. Will have to try that next cycle. Grin

I would probably say ovulation today 16/3 so 17/3 will be 1DPO ( approx as you can ovulate between 12-48 hours I think after a positive OPK). Xx

Thank you! I will call it 16/3
