OPK accuracy?

Hi!

I have been using the clearblue advanced digital opk and had 5 days of flashing smiley which then stayed at a static smiley on Saturday morning. We dtd A LOT during this time 🤞🏻 However I woke up this morning and curiosity got the better of me. I used a cheap opk and it showed I was at my peak again? My husbands work schedule and mine mean we are unable to dtd anymore this week. Could anyone let me know if this happened to them? And how accurate are the clearblue advanced? TIA

From my experience the clear blue ones are just an internet cheapy but in a plastic case and with a little optical reader. I always think people are better off with the cheap ones and their own eyes as you can then just see your surge for yourself.

I got pregnant first time of trying every time I used them. The spike is sudden; it goes from just varying shades of normal each day to suddenly very unmissably dark (for about two days for me) then back to varying shades of normal. There is no gradual rise or pattern that i could discern.

Good luck!

Thank you! I took another clear blue this morning and I have a static smiley again so goodness knows what’s happening!

If you need to next month, then definitely sack off the clear blues and just get the amazon ones. Same for pregnancy tests. All you need to know is whether or not there is a line, you don't need to spend £££ on a gimmick. My pregnancies all showed up from between 11-15 DPO on the little amazon strips.
