Hi

Unfortunately I had a chemical pregnancy last month at 5 & half weeks. The bleeding started on 27th feb & I got 2 negative pregnancy tests the following day 28th feb (one done in the morning & one at night)

My bleeding was heavy 28th feb & 1st March but stopped by 4th March

I started my ovulation tests 4th March, and got a very faint 2nd line, but when I tested 5th March, it was a high/peak result. If I start CD1 the day my bleeding started, I’m only CD17 now.

Is it possible to ovulate the day after bleeding a miscarriage ends?

Update — 11Dpo tested this morning and it’s BFN

Not that it’s made things any clearer 🤯 either it was a false positive peak LH test or it was positive but it’s not my month.....

Hcg can make ovulation tests positive OP so I suspect it was picking up hcg from your chemical pregnancy rather than LH. Sending you lots of luck for the next cycle.

Sorry about your chemical pregnancy :(
It might not have been a false peak you can surge multiple times In Your cycle if an egg wasn't released your body will try again. Did you continue to test with opks?

I've had multiple chemical pregnancy's and after the first I fell pregnant the following month and is. now nearly one 🤞🏻 for you

Hi @Literaryseed yeah I think you are right. It’s strange that the first LH test I did the day before was a clear negative though

@firsttimemummy321 yes I’m carrying on now. I normally peak around CD19 anyway and I’m CD18 today so hoping that I get a real peak this week. Thanks for sharing your story and sorry about your multiple chemicals, they are so cruel aren’t they x
