Hello,

I didn't think I would write something like this on here but know there are plenty of women in a similar situation. I've just gone past cycle 11 and still yet to conceive. Whilst I know there are women who have tried for a lot longer, I am finding it quite disheartening.

I'd love to hear any advice on how to deal with this. Recently I have been better and not been obsessing, my partner and I got a puppy just over a month ago and she's been quite the distraction but it doesn't relieve the disappointment at the end of each cycle.

Thanks x

Hi, I've been trying seven months and one early-ish miscarriage, and also struggling with it. Finding myself obsessing that last week of the month. It didn't help that I was two weeks late this month, so that's been three weeks of obsessing :(

For me I am now focusing on doing what I can to maximise my chances, so there's no wasted cycle. So taking some strong conception vitamins (Proceive) and have my partner on the men's version. I decided to take soy isoflavones this cycle (CD 2-6) and I'm vegetarian anyway but have been trying to cut back on dairy and eat more veg. I don't know if it'll work, but its been helpful to me to be able to control some aspects given that's the only bit I can control
