Period 5 days late, but BFN?!

Anybody have any experience of negative tests even with late period?? Maybe obvious but would anyone be able to help a girl out!

We were TTC last month, this month we relaxed/ didn’t really go for it..... I was expecting Aunt Flo on the 9th... when I was 3 days late I tested, First response and got negative. But I tested today and still nothing! So I went about the day expecting it to arrive on our Mother’s Day walk, and now I’m just SO confused.

Should I wait another 48hrs? Going crazy...

Did you start any new medication or vitamins? I find that they can make cycles longer.

@lostfrequencies hi ! Thanks for your reply, no medications, I suppose I upped vitamins but nothing new to me and certainly not consistently! I’m rubbish at remembering them!

The hormones start producing once implantation has taken place. This can happen a little later for some people.
Maybe try a FRER again tomorrow, first morning wee, or the following day.

Unless your periods are sometimes irregular, in which case, still try test, unless aunt flo appears

Thanks @Ozziewoz Hopefully I get some answers! I think because I got strong lines with my first I am thrown a little. But that was six years ago so I can’t compare.

I have varying cycles maybe 28-29 but never 34/35 like now. My Flo app says my ovulation peak was 23rd Feb - so I don’t think that’s right now...

I have no tests in for first morning urine, so will get some for Tuesday if AF not here then.

Can I jump on this too! I'm in the same boat and I'm well confused! Been trying since October and this month is the first month I've been late but still negative. I hate it I just want to know!

I’ve only been off the pill since December so wacky cycles... 25 days then 22 days. Currently on cd30...tested cd27 which was negative but I’m
Now trying to hold out a few more days before I try again. Fully expecting a negative though.

Hoping you either get your positive or AF so you know where you stand. This limbo is the worst

Hey @apwilso !! When will you test again, apparently every 48hrs is a good plan. But if I had some tests at home I’d test everyday at the moment!

Also hey @xTinkerbell yes this limbo is driving me wild!
I really don’t mind either way, I’d have been thrilled if I was and now I’m worried I’d be disappointed.

How did you get on @apwilso I tried clear blue and still a nope here! I’m now 6 days late!?
