Flashing smiley face before AF

Hey - as the title says, it’s all a bit odd. I know exactly when I ovulated because I took a clear blue ovulation test and got a solid on day 9 of my cycle (temp also went up and CM was as it normally is post ovulation) which is quite early for me to ovulate as I’m usually on day 14.

I’ve been getting weird cramps, so decided to take an OPK this morning as I read it could be used as a pregnancy test). I used FMU and could be 10/11 today - when I took the OPK I got a flashing smiley face??

Is that normal? What I will add is that this is my first ovulation month since my miscarriage so I don’t know if that’s messed things up a bit?

Any thoughts really appreciated.

You can have a surge before af so unfortunately it's not reliable only way to know for sure would be to take a test 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Thanks @firsttimemummy321. I’ve not managed to get pregnancy tests yet, but took another OPK today and got a solid smiley face - definitely can’t be ovulating as I definitely did earlier in the cycle.

So who knows..
