A faint line.. I think... but gone by the afternoon?

Hello everyone... again...! I know the answer is to wait and test again on a few days time but it seems I can't help but torture myself. TTC #2 for over 18 months now so can't help but feel excited when I see the hint of a line.

I tested this morning with an FRER and thought I saw a really faint line. I then bought more tests on my lunch break and did another test early afternoon but it was only a 2 hour or so hold. BFN.

I just wanted to get opinions really, a) does anyone see a line on the first test and b) could it be that it was a bad time to test whilst hormone levels are so low? (Wishful thinking here I realise!)

I'm day 38 of my cycle but they vary in length and I don't know when I ovulated.

I see a line on first pic. I'd test again first thing with FMU

Ozziewoz · 12/03/2021 20:13

I can see a line in the first test. Try again in a day or two. First morning wee.

WineInTheWillows · 12/03/2021 20:15

I can see a line. You should do another with FMU.

lostfrequencies · 12/03/2021 20:37

Thanks all. I went crazy and spent £40 on tests at lunch..... ffs.... so I'll no doubt be doing one tomorrow. Thanks again!

£40?! Yikes. Hope it's positive for you after that.

firsttimemummy321 · 13/03/2021 07:05

It does look like a line but only thing that makes me unsure is my lines have always got darker as they dried not disappeared. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 for you

PrettyLittleStars · 13/03/2021 07:30

I'm sorry but I can't see a positive.

lostfrequencies · 13/03/2021 10:31

@firsttimemummy321 ahh sorry I think I made the title confusing / misleading. The second pic is a different test I took yesterday lunchtime.

lostfrequencies · 13/03/2021 11:00

Now I'm looking at these pictures again I think I see a line Confused

I'm going to try and hold out to Monday to retest as otherwise I just keep wasting so much money and also cause myself loads of heartache.

@lostfrequencies same situation. Faint positive 9dpo with afternoon wee, retested this morning 11dpo and it's microscopic. I wonder if hcg is stronger in afternoons for some. Still convinced I'm having a chemical though

firsttimemummy321 · 13/03/2021 16:09

@lostfrequencies 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@dippyegg32 mine were always stronger in the evening on a good hold 🤞🏻🤞🏻

lostfrequencies · 16/03/2021 12:33
