Feeling so down in the dumps and emotional today, just feel like it's never going to happen! Will be 2 years in may and still nothing other than my miscarriage April 2019, anyone else in a similar situation? X

I understand how you feel. It's been nearly a year for me. I know it doesn't seem like long compared to so many others on here. But it's just so negative to see all the negative tests isn't it.

It's horrible my lovely. But we've always got each other on here!🥰

Someone close to me is halfway through their pregnancy, just had their gender reveal a week ago and it's horrible but I feel soooooo jealous...I hate to admit it but I've been trying and seeing all these negative tests it's just heart wrenching😔Xx

Yes. I've been trying two years too. Had an early miscarriage last April and a chemical in September. Still in this month, 10dpo.

I can't say platitudes like it will happen, just be patient because it doesn't happen for everyone. All we can do is give it the best shot and find fulfilment in another way if it doesn't happen. But hopefully it will. I can guarantee you are younger than me and have more time!

@unknownttc I know the feeling, my best friend had her baby 6 months ago and as I was sooo happy for her I just felt so so jealous. Just a kick in the teeth every month having negative tests, and then when I fell pregnant 2 years ago I was on the bloody pill!!! We will get there in the end, fingers crossed for us both !!❤️
@bitheby so sorry for your losses, thank you for your kind words, do you know when you are testing yet?!
I'm 11 DPO and just tested again this evening and BFN, I believe I'm out this month but it will happen when it's supposed to happen eh, lots of baby dust for us all ❤️

I'm with you @charlie1999. Been trying for a year, I have PCOS and no joy. Two of my friends this week shared pregnancy news - I'm trying so hard to be happy for them, but I had a loooonng cry about it today. Keep going and look after yourself - you're doing all you can.

charlie1999 · 11/03/2021 19:35

@DiscoStusMoonboots if you don't mind me asking, what was your symptoms for PCOS? It's a horrible feeling isn't it, kind of like a 'that should be me' moment. Sending you lots of love ❤️

Thanks @charlie1999 - right back at you! I was diagnosed at 15. Main symptoms were irregular, very heavy periods. As I've got older, this has also caused stomach pain (the result of large cysts that needed removing), irregular cycles and excess body hair.

Should probably add, I have had two prior pregnancies but neither came to term (both when I was much younger). I'm mid-thirties now, so fearing that my fertility - PCOS and all - is dwindling. Am currently waiting for fertility appointments via the NHS but the wait is long.

Just wanted to send you some kind thoughts Flowers when I started ttc I really didn’t expect it to be so difficult emotionally. Be kind to yourself xx

bitheby · 11/03/2021 19:40

I tested on a cheapie this evening and BFN. Haven't tried a FRER yet as it's so demoralising seeing just one line. Will see how I feel in the morning.

VenusStarr · 11/03/2021 19:55

I'll join you, feeling very fed up today. We've been ttc 3.5 years and had 4 losses. We finally got a reason for the losses and I'm on lots of medication to suppress my immune system and its my 4th cycle on the plan and had a bfn at 11dpo today.
I then found out that we've been discharged from our ivf clinic (we were due to start last August but I miraculously conceived after my baseline scan). So I've got to book in with the GP to be rereferred. I'm just exhausted with it all 😥

Sending everyone lots of love ❤️

@DiscoStusMoonboots I see! Thank you for sharing that, this is the side of ttc that people don't usually see! It's so hard isn't it :( so so sorry for your losses my love. it's so consuming isn't it. At what point do you reach out and say somethings not quite right? 2 years seems like a long time doesn't it 😓

@MrsSugar thank you hun, I had no idea it would be this hard either. Hope you are well and happy ❤️

@bitheby I did a cheepie again this evening and not even a hit, I do this thing where I stare at it so long I start to imagine it 🥲

@VenusStarr sending you love also, I'm down in the dumps too today I must have a similar cycle to you as I'm 11dpo also !! Did a wee on a cheepie and bugger all.
So sorry that you've gone through all that, can't even imagine how hard that would have been for you. let's hope this gets the ball rolling quickly for you❤️❤️

Good vibes guys I know we're all down in the dumps but at least we are not alone xxx
