Peak ovulation on CD35

Hey,
Has anyone ever had peak ovulation on cycle day 35 or around that time and conceived? Got my first ever peak after coming off the pill yesterday! x

Looks like a good strong LH surge. Hope you're getting busy! It doesn't matter when you ovulate (most women do not ovulate cycle day 14). What's most important is your luteal phase length and that needs to be at least 10 days. Good luck 🤞🏻

@YouBoggleMyMind thank you! I done another opk at 12:30 this afternoon and one again about 10 minutes ago. The one this afternoon was high but the one just now is lighter than the test line. Does this mean I’ve ovulated? It’s all so confusing!

@Chloerobinson97 you ovulate 12-36 hours after you’ve had your peak, so if you got your peak yesterday, I’d say you’ll have ovulated today at some point! Happy BD’ing!

Yes an LH surge picked up on an OPK only gives you a heads up that you may ovulate. It can be anywhere between 12-48 hours after if you do ovulate. As soon as you have a positive OPK, it's best to DTD from then onwards for a good few days to make sure you're covered.

@Chloerobinson97 this is giving me hope as I also have long cycles. How many days of flashing smiley did you get? I'm on CD23 and my 3rd day of flashing smiley. I know they can take many days so just curious!

@murmurlade I didn’t actually get any days of flashing smileys because I gave up testing as I thought it wasn’t going to happen! One evening I just had the urge to try and test and it was peak. Keep going though, I’m sure you’ll get your solid smiley soon 🤞🏼

I ovulated on day 38 of my cycle and conceived so definitely possible
