Hi all, Not sure this is the right place to post but can't see an IVF topic. I just went for my AFC and it's pretty low at 5 but I can see about 8 follicles on the scan - does anyone know if they only count ones of a certain size? Google isn't helping me! Thank you xx

@Wombat222 hello! There is an infertility sub but it's less active than this one so god knows where you might get the best answer!

From what I gather though, AFC includes only follicles of a certain size (2-10mm I think) so perhaps the extra 3 you are seeing are visible on the scan but not large enough to count?
