Before my first my opks would be blank white then about 2/3 days before ovulation there would be a super faint line that would darken and be positive then 2/3 days later faded back to blank (just the control line) - not even a hint of a second line.

Now trying for our second my body seems all over the place, I am still breastfeeding only a small amount a few times a day as comfort as she's eating now. (Adding incase it could be why)

I had faint positives around Christmas and no bleed or anything since so been doing opks and seem to now always have a second line - I know this is possible and that it's not positive but this was not normal for me before my first, could my body have changed?

Had strong lines (although not positive) for a few days now, anyone had similar? Feel like I don't know my body at all atm and want to start trying again 😢

Is there a chance you could be pregnant? The OPKs pick up HCG so if you're always getting positives, I would recommend doing a pregnancy test x

@ButterscotchBabe thank you, there is a chance. Basically I have no idea where I am in my cycle after positives that turned negative around Christmas (no bleeding).
I did wonder this so did a test this morning and was negative (was an early one so assuming if it's picking up on an opk that would've shown positive? 🙈

Okay yeh if an OPK was able to pick up the hormone, then a pregnancy test would be able to. Breastfeeding can affect your cycle so it's likely that you haven't ovulated yet. Keep using the OPKs, hopefully at some point you'll see the test line go darker than the control line. OPKs tell you when ovulation is coming but it can only be confirmed with a sustained rise in temperature. Quite often your body can 'try' to ovulate but doesn't quite manage to, so it will try again. The follicular phase can go on for many weeks but once you've ovulated, your period or BFP will arrive within 2 weeks.
