TTC after Covid vaccine? ?

Hi

I was lucky enough to get the first dose of the C19 vaccine today. We have decided we want to TTC and am just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat?

The info booklet for the vaccine said two wait 2 months to TTC, but updated guidance says you can start right away? I'm just a bit worried, but really don't want to wait to start trying!

Also, I know if I get pregnant I won't have the second dose, I'm happy with just some protection from the first for now.

Hello, I have my second vaccine in a couple of weeks and was told it was fine to start ttc straight after, so we will be.
I decided to wait and use the time between doses to try and loose a few lbs but I'm so close to the second one now I'm just counting down the days until we can start 😂🙃

I've had my first dose & am doing ivf (having done other rounds before) my ivf consultant is happy for my to go ahead straight away again & knows we have been having unprotected sex in between & said it poses no risk it's just "what they have to say as it's so new"
The latest guidance is for those in higher risk groups when pregnant to have the second dose (me) so whether I'm pregnant or not through ivf by that stage I'll also be having that he says.
I'm happier I'm protected too.
