12 dpo...is this a line?!

Hi ladies,

11/12 dpo today. Tested and I THINK I have a faint line?

Am I just imagining things?

Yes but it seems very faint for 12 days past.

@Wondermule I know its quite faint. I'm 12 days post ovulation, not due AF for another 5 days. Could that be why?

@IndaFlowers definitely a line there! Are you sure you didn’t ovulate a day or 2 later than you thought?

@ChinChilly I used a cb opk, got no flashing smileys - straight to static on cd 12, dtd cd 10, 12 & 14. So it's possible I ovulated later?

It was my first month using opk. we have been ttc since Sept but were taking a laid back approach, started tracking in Jan then as we got serious about it.

I'm almost afraid to get excited

@IndaFlowers it is possible, I’m not sure how the Cb ones work but I know the IC when you get peak you can ovulate 12-48 hours after...you could try again this afternoon, these were mine at 11dpo, first was in the morning second was afternoon, or test again tomorrow! It’s that horrible thing of just wait and see...I’ve spent the last 3 days obsessing over whether my lines are getting darker or not!

The tests work based on days post ovulation, not days till period, like they falsely claim. They simply assume that every woman has 14 days between ovulation and AF. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Viable fertilised eggs implant anywhere between 7-10 days post ovulation, so a faint line at 12 days could mean you implanted late! Test again in a couple of days. Keeping everything crossed for you 🤞🏼❤️

Took another one this evening (couldn't help myself) I think this might be a little stronger. Cautiously optimistic now

I have been having a weirdest and most vivid dreams all week. But after a few cycles of shameless symptom spotting I was really trying not to read into it.
