AF arrived for me this morning so I'm out again 😔 Wondering whether I should try anything different this month or just wait and see if I have another 40+ day cycle. Before I went on the pill (13 years ago) I sort of remember my cycles being all over the place and only having about 6 or 7 AFs a year. I wish I'd paid more attention back then!

@Moocher90 more often than not my LP is 12days but it’s hard to tell because of the CPs my cycles have gone abit wonky.

@MissC07 sorry to hear AF arrived. The only thing I came across to help with long cycles is the Soy Isoflavones which can bring forward your ovulation and make it stronger. I have tried it for two cycles now, and although I haven't ovulated at all ... I think that is because of other issues i'm having. I think my body has tried to ovulate around CD15-17 on each of the last two months. For someone who doesn't have a crappy body it would probably work really well, perhaps check out some of the Soy Iso threads that are currently ongoing to see if it is right for you?

@Kay00 sorry to hear that. Our bodies are cruel. I'm sure they do things to confuse us! I mean, even period and pregnancy symptoms are the same, which is just weird!

@moocher90 is this your first month of the blood tests? Sorry if I've got confused. Mine came out good but then some people ovulate some months and not others so I wondered if they test it again to know this or you just go to a fertility clinic. I randomly thought this yesterday!
@MissC07 sorry to hear about AF. I hope you are okay. This journey is horrible.

My DH usually doesn't know what to say, I usually tell him a bit after my AF arrives when I've got over the crying a bit. He is really on it this month though, I think maybe he has woken up to the fact it is taking a long time. Last night he kept saying about if it comes today we will do everything we can next month. He was being so sweet but I had to ask him to stop talking about it for a bit, then he said, I just want you to have a baby in there, I don't want you to be sad anymore💔 and even thinking of it this morning makes me well up.
Worried each time I need the loo now. Got the SDC here as a good distraction on general though.

@Kay00 ah how frustrating! Our bodies are really rubbish sometimes. It does look like your body keeps trying but doesn't quite manage it.

I finally have my crosshairs! It originally said I am 5dpo which I don't believe. So playing round with it, it now says I am 3dpo which I think is right

@ChinChilly yes, I think I will try my doctors again. I will ask for a new doctor this time.

@Lovebug06 have you tested yet?! I also have that achey feeling down below like AF will come but it hasn’t but I’m only 8DPO so anything can happen in the next couple of days.

@Lovebug06 not sure if we crossed paths before I got my BFP but I had cramps to the point I was convinced AF was on its way, took a test to show my mind that it was negative so I’d stop guessing and speed AF up but got a positive. I know some people don’t like seeing the BFN but for me it just helped my mind adjust and get ready for it. I’d say test tomorrow if you’ve not already given in

@Moocher90 no not tested. I don't actually have any tests 😂 I used to find the negative far worse than AF weirdly. So when my packet of cheap ones finished I didn't buy anymore, that was months ago. It hasn't arrived yet, but it's come in the evening many times. A couple of times it's cruelly come in the night so I've gone to bed hopeful for nothing. So I will see how this tonight goes.
The achey feeling has totally gone now. Had some very light cramps earlier but gone. Just expecting to see it everytime I go for a wee 😩 sdcs have distracted me a lot today.
@Robyn101 I literally feel the same as normal before AF too. I think because I had used pre seed for the first time I gave myself a bit of hope after reading great reviews. Although I obviously know it doesn't work for lots of people. I also then came out in spots which are getting worse even now. Although I had post pill acne it had cleared up about 2/3months ago. And it actually never got worse at AF. Its been nearly two weeks of it suddenly bad. Its probably just come back, which is awful. If I got a BFP then it's worth it 😂. Only weird thing is my whole belly is quite sensitive today, so if the dog leant on me it hurt. But I think I'm clutching at straws, it could have even come right now! Some months I've had completely random symptoms as well as normal and it's still been AF so I find symptoms can vary for me at times anyway. I'm trying to tell myself it won't happen but I'll still cry my eyes out when it does lol. Sorry to be negative its just hard after so long!

@Robyn101 sorry I totally wittered on and went off track 😂 yes I'd test tommorow of it hadn't come. The thought of it not coming by tommrow feels like a dream though x

@ChinChilly yay for ovulation! That is a steep rise! I have my day 21 bloods tomorrow. Do you and @Moocher90 think I'll be ok going tomorrow having ovulated on day 16 so ill be 5dpo? I'm not sure if I should have delayed it by 2 days? I usually have early spotting before AF which touch wood hasn't started yet so the 7 days before AF thing is confusing for me! 🥴😂 I just hope that it wont make too much of a difference.

@Kay00 Sorry your temp went back down 😣 Push those doctors and stress your age to them (I look really young for 35....people assume I'm early 20's so I made sure to remind her that I turn 36 this year!) and how long you've been trying. I really hope you get someone more understanding and proactive this time! ❤

@flyinggiraffe haha! Unfortunately I'm not blessed with your youthful looks, in fact I think I look a little older than my age 😅 it doesn't help that my OH looks about 21, and regularly gets ID'ed for alcohol... despite being 38!! 🧐😂

I'm actually thinking of calling the fertility clinic tomorrow and going private. I just mentioned it to OH who said he was too stressed about work to think about it... so I assume that means I have his full support 😆😆😆

@Moocher90 I did mine at 10DPO on a FRER and had a clear line, but before that my only other LP off the pill had been 10 days

@Lovebug06 No I completely get it the symptoms can be so similar and then you get in your head and start thinking it through.

I personally found the hope and let down worse, the way i saw it was if I was pregnant I’d be pregnant whether I took a test or not so found seeing a result a definitive yes/no helped

I’m still doing them now for progression and just because I still don’t quite believe it, don’t think I will till I see it on a scan

@FlyingGiraffe I get the whole looking younger thing, I’m 30 in August and I cannot buy paracetamol let alone alcohol without ID. I was going to work once and I had a black pencil skirt on and the guy behind the counter said he ID’d me because he thought I was in a school uniform 😂 I think you should be ok going for your bloods then, I think they just say 7dpo/7 days before AF because that is when progesterone is at its highest but if i book them 7 days before AF is I think I’ll be 5dpo too because my LP is about 12 days (I think)

@Kay00 are you thinking of going straight to private or trying your GP one more time? If I could afford it I would go straight to private.

I had anothe temp rise this morning so hopeing FF gives me cross hairs tomorrow. RHR is on the move aswell.

Okay so it hasn't come yet. My stomach is really hurting this morning though and like bubbling. I have a horrible feeling I'm just late. I actually don't have a test in the house, this is one time I regret that😂 however I want to go and get one but feel like the amount my stomach hurts maybe I'm just late.
I'm not sure if I'm the only one on here that stopped the testing so not sure if anyone will understand me.
I'm more anxious today than yesterday!
I'll give it longer today to see, before I buy a test. Sounds mad but I feel like if I go this morning I'll be tempting fate a bit.
I found the negatives so so hard so this is why I'm like this.

I'm 5DPO today but have the lowest post O difference in temps I think I've ever had? First time I'm actually doubting if I've ovulated, although my RHR has thankfully gone up.

@Lovebug06 sorry...,, still reading all of these. I am currently 5 + 6 pregnant and had really bad stomach ache/pain/diarrohea a few days before my BFP so keeping my fingers crossed for you.
