Hey guys, hope you are all OK and looking forward to the Easter weekend! Hope its OK to ask a TMI question, feel free to skip 🙈
For about 5 days (I think) I've had a thick discharge, like jelly consistency. I know you have discharge around ovulation so think it might be that, but is 5 days of it normal? For info I came of the pill on the 15th March and haven't had any bleeding so far. Also we're starting our TTC journey tomorrow so if this is ovulation that's great!! (We waited till tomorrow to hopefully avoid a Christmas week baby ha ha)

@Lovebug06 hopefully it's pregnancy stomach pains! I understand the waiting to take a test, hope its a lovely BFP when you do!

Hi ladies, just wanted to let you all know I'm still checking in to see how you guys are doing (and throwing around tons of baby dust!!!)

It's been a long 8 weeks, but finally made it to the 12 week scan today 💞 xx

@kat668 yes, sounds like you were having an estrogen surge which produces EWCM (egg white cervical mucus) which is the ideal environment for OH's swimmers to reach your egg. Often an estrogen surge will coincide with a LH surge (that's what the OPKs test for) and ovulation. So fingers crossed that's what's happening for you!

If I have a 14 day LP as I’m not technically due on until Monday should I avoid testing until 12DPO or on the day my period is due?

Also what do non preg charts do as you are nearing the end of the LP? Does the temp just gradually go down.... bizzare I am asking this question but it’s the first time I know I have definitely ovulated 😂

My let’s get checked results came back for my progesterone test I sent yesterday and has confirmed the testosterone was high enough to indicate I ovulated.

@Moocher90 12dpo would be more than good to test, regardless of LP length. At the end of the LP the temp can either gradually go down, plummet or even stay high until a couple of days into AF. As soon as it does drop though it's a good heads up that the witch is on her way.

@Kat668 yes I think that ovulation. I only get a small amount but I know and read of others who get it for days! Go for it!
I've still got the stomach pains. Dh has bought a test, I will leave it until the morning if I get that far, I'll be gobsmacked if I do. I used to test test test now I'm scared to do them!

DH has got me a test I keep looking at it but I haven't. If I get as far as the morning I'll do it then. I used to be obsessed by testing, but now it's been so long I'm scared to do it. Im just scared of the negative now. I know you'll all think I'm mad!
He got a clear blue I said I thought they aren't known as very good but he keeps telling me they are the best. No idea how he would know what's the best 😂

@Lovebug06 awww bless you I totally understand when you have been trying for a while and with every month more upset I can understand why you don’t want to test xx I really hope it’s positive news for you tomorrow xx

@ChinChilly 😂 your story about going to work made me giggle! I honestly dont know when I'm going to look my age! I think being a short arse (I am definitely not a giraffe! 😂) doesn't help!

@Juno231 maybe is it to do with daylight savings? Maybe it's not a bad thing? You never know...your egg might like it a little cooler! 😂

@Moocher90 great your progesterone showed ovulation 😊 my temp stays high until 2-3 days into AF. I think I'd prefer the steep drop beforehand! It's like a heads up at least 😄

I had my day 21 bloods this morning. I didnt faint 🙌 and it was actually a rather pleasant experience. I can phone for the results next week but the doctor I saw is off so it would be looked at by someone else. Not sure whether to wait for her....she seems more thorough than some of the others!

I've just been to the loo and there's some pink on the paper. I knew this would happen.
Its so cruel. I am never late. My acne is clearly just back to make me feel bad then. I just knew it was too good to be true and now I feel so stupid. I know I was saying it wouldn't happen but me being late I couldn't help but hope. I haven't said anything to DH, I know what he's thinking, he bought me the test, I can't bare to yet. Sat here trying my hardest not to cry.

@FlyingGiraffe I did walk away feeling quite chuffed with myself actually 😂 my mum looks young for her age, nobody ever believes she’s old enough to have a nearly 30 year old daughter...we both work at the same local authority (different departments) but nobody ever believes us, so I’m hopeing I’ve got her genes lol

@ChinChilly fantastic news about ovulation being confirmed.

I’m 10DPO today according to FF and still no sign of AF and temps are still on the incline. I wasn’t sure at what DPO they start to drop as I think everyone is different. I think I’m going to hold out testing though until when AF is due as surely by then I will know if AF is coming because of my temps dropping or any spotting I might get. We shall see what happens in the next couple of days. I will be distracted anyway as I am working through until Monday before I have my days off.

@Moocher90 I’ve only charted my temp for 3 cycles and obviously the last one was a chemical and this one isn’t finished yet but my other one started dropping at 10DPO but my LP is about 12 days so I think it depends on how long your LP is

I think my LP is 14 days as I’ve had a few 30 day cycles. I think by Monday I should have started AF if it comes. I guess temps over the next 2 days should indicate what’s going on

@Moocher90 your chart is looking great! Lovely high temps. What my temps do vary cycle to cycle. Sometimes they stay up until 14dpo, sometimes they start dropping at 10dpo. My LP tends to be 13dpo but even that can vary by a day or so.

Sorry I've been v absent from the board, everyone. No updates here as not really TTC but I'm 1) waiting for my APS bloods results next week and 2) my GP is referring me again for the fertility clinics because of the highly late ovulations and ?annovulatory cycles. They're also sending me for bloods again next week (thyroid, hormones, androgens). They were a nightmare to get hold of, but once I did were v helpful.

My FF app is suggesting I might be able to ovulate based on mucus changes and a slight temp uptick, but who knows. If I do ovulate this early (CD19) then the myo-inositol and D-Chiro inositol will be getting praised to the high heavens.

I’m ovulating any moment. I can feel it and I have high readings today but I’m still suffering with bad thrush and it’s getting me down!

It was triggered by antibiotics I took over a month ago.

I saw the GP yesterday and she said my cervix isn’t inflamed even though it feels like it is! Or at least my vulva does. But she said it looked normal apart from some discharge and she took a swab.

It’s really getting me down. Has anyone else experienced this?

She said depending on the results I might have to have an intense course of oral treatment for it but that means I can’t take if it pregnant and can’t try. Grrrr
