Prednisolone and TTC (no EWCM)

Hi ladies,
I just started 2 months ago on prednisolone because of multiple miscarriages. Since I started I have had NO ewcm around ovulation. I was wondering if this is a sideeffect of the prednisolone. Has anyone experienced this?

Hi @Annehn188 I'm on my first cycle with predisolone for recurrent losses too. What cycle day are your starting the pred? I've been told to do it around ovulation, but I'm using opks and bbt to track, so actually started around 2dpo, so had definitely ovulated. I also use evening primrose oil until the day before ovulation and I think that helps with ewcm x

I started on day 3, same day as I start my hormones (I'm getting IUI). So basically I've been taken it non-stop the past 2 months. But luckily no side effects so far. I take 10mg.

Ah, OK. I have heard it can delay ovulation, but if you're on a medicated cycle, that shouldn't be a problem as they'll monitor your follicle growth for trigger.
I'm on 25mg from ovulation, ttc naturally this cycle, but we'll be doing superovulation with trigger next month if no luck this time.
Have you been diagnosed with high nk cells @Annehn188? I've got aggressive / overactive nk cells, so also on hydroxychloroquine and intralipids x
