No mean girls reports to MN last time ladies 😆🙌🏻I don’t know whether that’s a result or not, but seeing as it was the Spring Zen bus I think that was good 🦋🌸🌷🌻

So it’s back to the usual routine & realising men know NOTHING about ovulation, but then again, do our bodies?? Except for the science teachers that is 😉

We are still working on our spring challenges alongside trying to get pregnant and we’ve had great results so far.

Our bus is helping each other get fitter, more positive through sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...as well as of course being there for each other during the sad times.

Have a look at the small changes beside the names and see if you want to try them yourself or add in your own!

Last month we had some fab BFPs including an OG 🥰♥️🙌🏻💪🏻so bring on March for more of the same please as well as investigations IVF fun for some others...
Spring is coming, and so are we 😘🦄🍀🌸🌷🌻🌼

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

@larrythelizard you can buy a fertility cup for about £25 but I used a menstruation cup which does the same and is a lot cheaper. Basically you put it in after dtd so you don't lose anything and hopefully it helps sperm meet egg !.Xx

Gem176 · 06/03/2021 17:37

@Justanothercyster I was so disappointed! Was fine cooking it then sat and it was like nope 😭

@paintfairy oh not so good for him, definitely would not be a fan of Scotland 🙈 ha I have one like that, goes in a huff because he is incapable of communication and no matter how many times we have the whole "try opening that hole in your face from time to time to talk" conversation, it's always the same. Say nothing, let it build up, go in a huff, don't speak for days, come out of huff again because what's bothering him has stopped bothering him and pretend nothing has happened. He then has the cheek to proudly tell people we don't argue so now I quite happily follow that up with "no, we do the opposite, we just don't speak and it's far worse" I'd rather a blazing row that clears the air and is then forgotten than huffing/moodiness 🙄
I just wondered did they choose to hold off knowing their most successful career years coincide with their statistically most successful baby making years but they wouldn't have affordability as a barrier if they postponed having kids and then needed assistance when ttc at 35+ 🤷🏻‍♀️ I obviously need to find a good book for when I can't sleep 😂

Minster2012 · 06/03/2021 18:06

Am finding PMA don't worry @larrythelizard thank you, I am positive just a bit emosh atm 😘

So gonna zone out & be back tomorrow ladies 😘

Sorry to hear you're feeling down @Minster2012, totally understandable. You've been through a lot. Enjoy your down time tonight x

@paintfairy, sounds like your OH has a lot on his mind re being an older dad but men don't seem to talk about these things. My DH is around the same age as yours. We would have loved to meet when we were younger and started our family then but that's not the way things worked for us. I try to be positive about it but it does make me worry that our DD (and hopefully another child) will feel disadvantaged having an older dad. Having said that, he is healthy, young at heart and mind but you just don't know what the future holds (hence the need for a trip to the psychic 😋).

I definitely think in my circle of friends most of us didn't meet our partners until 30 or even later than that so babies around my age (38) are common. So different from my parents generation. I think the focus on career is part of it & the financial independence coming from that for women. Before women were stuck at home with loads of kids (families were massive in Ireland thanks to the Catholic Church). But also the fact that internet dating has given people (mainly men) way more 'choice' so dating is a minefield. So many of my friends dated for years trying to meet someone but the guys were just looking for fun! No biological clock ticking!!

I think a lot of celebrities get fertility help but don't talk about. Just like real life I suppose!

Florence13 · 06/03/2021 19:24

@Gem176 have to admit it looks idyllic I love where I live but there is a part of me that would definitely prefer the arse end of nowhere.

@paintfairy aww will definitely give that a go thank you hun. I’ll blame you when I’m waddling around with a food baby instead of a pregnancy one 😂

@Minster2012 enjoy your evening off hun and have some chill time.

@larrythelizard sorry to hear your body is messing with you it really sucks.

@MartyMcShy yes I agree with that hun as women we are almost expected to have a career and be financially secure and everything before families become top of the list. But then like you say we also have a biological clock to keep to as well.

paintfairy · 06/03/2021 19:29

@Gem176 I'm the opposite and get really stressed if I don't say what's bothering me. Where it concerns us anyway. I think sometimes I assume it's me (and it's not) but then if he told me what it was- I'd know that! 🙄
Yeah the famous people can at least afford it. So it won't even look like it took that long (unlike using the nhs). I think it is different today @MartyMcShy and there's a lot more older parents around. My dad was 15 years older than my mum. People often used to think he was our grandad. He hated it. And when I work it out- my dh is older now than he was when my younger brother was born! I haven't told my dh this as I don't want to put him off. It might well be a struggle. Plus you lose your parents younger (I've already lost my dad). But then we just didn't meet young and it's sad not to bother, just because of that?
@Minster2012 enjoy your bath! I'm about to have one too. Hopefully to ease the aches.

Justanothercyster · 06/03/2021 19:47

@Gem176 awww haha.

@Minster2012 hope you enjoyed your bath and enjoy your time out x

Gem176 · 06/03/2021 21:04

@Florence13 it's great until you want to do anything. Christmas shopping, concerts and hospital appointments are all a minimum of 3 hours away and decent concerts are Glasgow so about 5/6 hours away 🙈 holidays are an extra two days when you factor in getting to and from the bloody airport. It's swings and roundabouts.

@paintfairy I'm the same, instantly assume whatever's bothering him is me and would rather he either said it's work or whatever and that would put my mind at ease. If it is something I've done, just say it and then we can sort it. But no, he just goes mute! My oh was 35,very close to 36 when we met, I was 27. When my mum starts going on about my brother not being settled at 28 my oh just laughs and says he didn't settle down until 36 🤷🏻‍♀️ oh's nephew is almost 30 and is thinking about splitting from his gf as he's not ready to settle down yet. So I think @MartyMcShy is right that people are meeting later and that means they get to the point of thinking about families that bit later too.

@Justanothercyster I made up for it tonight with a huge bowl of chicken risotto and at least half a warm baguette 🙈😂 it was lush!

@Minster2012 if anyone deserves a chill night it's you, enjoy 🥰

notyetamumbuttrying · 06/03/2021 21:17

@paintfairy it's the best excuse ever as well as you can't argue with it 😂 haha going for a pirate 🏴‍☠️ workout 😜
@Minster2012 yeah waiting on the SA result to decide whether to go private or keep trying naturally and wait for nhs. Have my afc scan on Monday and a nurse is calling me to talk about suspected endo. Hope you start to feel better soon.
@Crazydoglady123 same as me! I'm so invested in her journey, I really hope it works for her!!
@Gem176 I could just not fathom being that cold 🥶
@Justanothercyster ooh what you reading?

Franklydear · 06/03/2021 21:19

@Minster2012 recharging batteries in a bath and mag sounds great

Florence13 · 06/03/2021 21:36

@Gem176 yes I see what you mean I had never considered that to be fair but it does still sound lovely. Although equally I’m one of these people who is quite happy with her own company most of the time.

Crazydoglady123 · 06/03/2021 22:04

@Minster2012 thank you! I'm going to have a read when I get into bed! I'm cd26 of a "natural" cycle, Clomid I'm trying again on my next cycle.

So my spiritual reading tonight I'm undecided on... I gave myself up far too early as she was describing how I was feeling down to the T and that I really needed this reading to give me guidance which was true so I broke down and told her were had been TTC for over 2 years. The rest of the hour I held back the tears but processing the things she said back in my head and the cards I chose basically "two" is a poignant number. She didn't know if it meant 2 ivf cycles, 2 eggs, 2 embryos etc. The daughter card came up (which I picked when I saw her a the year before last) and she said about me having a DD in the future. She talked about my DS and said I bottle fed him (which I did) and can see him sitting on the sofa feeding a baby. She then said she could see me having a DS too. Later in the reading she said twins came to her (which considering I ovulated 5 eggs last time on Clomid that's definitely a risk again this next cycle). She also said that in a months time I won't be feeling how I am at the minute (emotional, lost, fed up). Whether it'll be because I get pregnant or it's because I'd be just starting ivf. The other thing she said which I didn't click with till after was she said something important about Christmas. I asked if she meant Christmas gone or coming and she said coming and I said nothing but I realised if I did get pregnant on the Clomid cycle this month it'd be a Christmas baby. So basically the Clomid next cycle is going to work, I'm going to have twins and be due at Christmas 🤪 I wish 🤣 There was lots of other nice things said about me and OH and DS and although I feel especially sceptical as I told her a lot too soon, I'm trying to take some hope and positivity from it.

Sausage1990 · 06/03/2021 23:37

Christ I'm finally caught up... Here goes -

@dipsy77 congratulations on two gorgeous baby girls 💕 little cuties & lovely names too. Wishing you all a happy & healthy 4th trimester 🥰

@hopeful110 I'm sorry yesterday was a hard day for you. The other have said everything I would have so just want to send some strength & love, and I'm glad you're feeling better today - definitely spooky about the baby boy. xx

@Franklydear so sorry about the shitty school situation but great news about the strawberry mousse! Look at that for excitement progress!!! 💪🏻 If I could send you cake I definitely would.

@minster2012 I definitely ate some but not all. I've got so much cake atm and lots of thoughtful edible gifts arrived through my letterbox, I've got enough supplies for the whole bus! So much for healthy eating!!
I've just read on (&saw your insta post) I'm Sorry today is a rough day, this ttc journey is so hard and it's ever what was expected. Look after yourself beautiful lady 💕 holding your hand xxx

@Juno231 @florence13 @bez91 For a cake novice I would definitely recommend the classic Mary Berry Victoria sponge for a starter cake. All in one method and I've never had a bad result from it 👍🏻 practice makes perfect.

I bloody love making cakes for people... I properly got into it about age 20 so I've got over a decade of baking under my belt now so I've made many over the years. My next big challenge is making a 3 tier wedding cake next year for my friend 😬

@2020mission haha I've only used like a cm off the top 🙈 it's going to take ages to use it.... Sprinkles of everything!!! Maybe not with spoon tho @larrythelizard Haha 🤣 Great news about the salary going back to normal @2020mission 🥂 definitely worth celebrating!!

@gem176 ohh gem you started too big with the cakes 🤣🤣 and sinking in the middle is a sign if it being undercooked. Probably needed just a bit longer... If you ever need any cake tips, hit me up! And yes she very much enjoyed it!!!

@crazydoglady123 I've always been intrigued about psychic readings but never really sure if anyone is ever legit... How do you know?? I think I'd be too sceptical. But I do hope it was positive for you and it comes to fruition for you 💕

And for those asking, I had a lovely birthday thank you. Being off work definitely made my lockdown birthday feel more like a normal birthday - lovely weather on both days, Chinese take away & cake Thursday night, them zoom cocktails with the girls and more cake on Friday... Perfect!!!

Sausage1990 · 06/03/2021 23:38

Ohh and @florence13 I was pleased for you that spotting ahs started, I'm hopeful for you that af will be in full flow soon so you can have some closure and move forward to the next cycle 🤞🏻💐💕

Juno231 · 07/03/2021 07:45

@Sausage1990 you should carry a little jar of sprinkles with you this summer for sprucing up your Mr whippys!

2alreadywantanother · 07/03/2021 08:02

Morning, well I'm out. I know I only started tracking bbt the other day but it has already started to drop. Least it saves me from poas like a lunatic lol
Nearly considering in the next month or 2 booking into a fertility clinic. I'm in Ireland on the south side of the border so can check out both sides see what's the best option. My ttc buddy, her friend, ttc a while just got bfp on clomid 🥰 suppose I'd like reassurance I'm def ovulating.

Today is my ds birthday. Today this handsome fella is 12. Hes just a kind big hearted guy. Hes t1 diabetic and never complains. Had an all nighter playing ps4 online with his buddies, saying as they can't meet up and hangout. So hes happy out. He will have a special day regardless of covid.

Florence13 · 07/03/2021 08:14

@Sausage1990 aww will give that Mary Berry recipe a go and see if I can actually be successful at baking a cake then. Thank you hun I’m still not quite full flow but do just suddenly feel better that my body is getting there. How are you doing?

@2alreadywantanother sorry to hear you think your out due to bbt and happy birthday to your son. It’s good you have options for fertility clinics then. And how lovely for your friend. We will all get there I just know we will.

@Crazydoglady123 I really hope your reading is right and you have a Christmas baby or two ☺️

Asthenia · 07/03/2021 08:16

@Minster2012 sorry you felt down yesterday. This is such a tough journey anyway let alone with all you have been through, I can see how it might all get on top of you at times. I hope you feel better today!

@Crazydoglady123 your psychic reading sounds so interesting, I hope it’s accurate! I used to see a psychic a few years ago and she told me I’d have a son by the end of 2018 (obviously didn’t happen lol) but everything else she said has been spot on! Spooky...

@Sausage1990 glad you had a good birthday! Mine was a few weeks ago and I was feeling shit about a lockdown birthday but it actually ended up being really fun, thank god for zoom!

@2alreadywantanother I temp and I hate seeing that bbt drop, fully understand how you’re feeling. Couldn’t hurt to book into a clinic just to check all is OK? Happy birthday to DS!! He sounds very sweet. Hope he has a good day.

I’m CD19 and no hint of a positive OPK. Been DTD every other day this cycle which has been knackering but hopefully worth it! Booked my acupuncture appointment for early April and feeling really positive and excited about it, just want this cycle out the way now as I doubt very much I’ll get a BFP.
Hope everyone has a great Sunday!

Kirky658 · 07/03/2021 08:16

@2alreadywantanother awww happy birthday to your DS, what a sweetie! Hope he has a nice day today.
@franklydear how's it going with the schools?
@minster2012 hope you enjoyed your evening of chill out and me time. Sending big cuddly hugs.

So we announced on Facebook last night.. I was terrified tbh. After so many comments from colleagues about 'oooo we know what you've been doing in lockdown' as if it was an accidental pregnancy, it was worrying me others would think the same, but everyone has been so bloody lovely! It feels real now 🤣

Minster2012 · 07/03/2021 08:20

Morning ladies

Thanks for the chill out messages I had a nice night thanks

I have read all,

@2alreadywantanother look at your boy! Lovely!
Btw are you getting POAS itches? It's about the time you said or a few days away I think? How you feeling? And @Juno231 & @Katao you ladies too?

Right I'm here but I definitely haven't been caught up with the thread there's just too much! Have I missed anything ? Will scan read when I get the chance. Hope everyone's okay 🥰 can't believe I'm 17 weeks tomorrow but also feels like it's going so slow at the same time. My bump seems to have stayed the same size since about 13/14 weeks so waiting for it to pop again 👀

Minster2012 · 07/03/2021 08:27

@Kirky658 that's lovely!! Congratulations! 🥰

Justanothercyster · 07/03/2021 08:31

@Gem176 oh yummmmmmm

@notyetamumbuttrying I'm reading The Confession by Jesse Burton. It's quite different to her usual style (The Muse, The Miniaturist) as it's set in the 21st century but very gripping all the same.

@Crazydoglady123 that's so interesting! I definitely agree with the positivity. At the beginning of feb I said to dh "this is the month I'll get pregnant, I've decided", and it happened so you never know. Say that to yourself next cycle ;)

@Sausage1990 glad you had a good birthday! Do you follow the Rate My Cake group on Facebook? Such amazing creations on there!

@2alreadywantanother awww your day is gorgeous! Hope he has a happy happy birthday 💕💕
You do what you need to do that you feel reassured and comfortable x

@Asthenia Sounds like you're definitely covered 🤞🏼

@Kirky658 aww that's lovely! I promised myself I'd be raw and honest about my experience when I announce, so I wonder how that will go down 🙈

@lucyrp Gosh already 17! Goes so quickly! I was Googling bump progression last night haha.

blackcurrantqueen · 07/03/2021 08:45

Morning everybody!
How are we all?
@Minster2012 hope you're feeling better for a night off and some wine! 🍾

@Crazydoglady123 that reading sounds interesting! I've never done anything like that but maybe I'd like to!

Sorry I've been quiet ladies. Admittedly I am having a bit of a difficult time, but I am still here reading and rooting for you all! 🥰😘

lucyrp · 07/03/2021 08:46

@Justanothercyster OH said to me the other day can you hurry up now I just want to hold our baby and I was like yeah hun me too 🙄🤣
