No mean girls reports to MN last time ladies 😆🙌🏻I don’t know whether that’s a result or not, but seeing as it was the Spring Zen bus I think that was good 🦋🌸🌷🌻

So it’s back to the usual routine & realising men know NOTHING about ovulation, but then again, do our bodies?? Except for the science teachers that is 😉

We are still working on our spring challenges alongside trying to get pregnant and we’ve had great results so far.

Our bus is helping each other get fitter, more positive through sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...as well as of course being there for each other during the sad times.

Have a look at the small changes beside the names and see if you want to try them yourself or add in your own!

Last month we had some fab BFPs including an OG 🥰♥️🙌🏻💪🏻so bring on March for more of the same please as well as investigations IVF fun for some others...
Spring is coming, and so are we 😘🦄🍀🌸🌷🌻🌼

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

minstermusings.co.uk for the blog that’s where the full stuff happens

June 24 BFPs
July 11 BFPs
August 18 BFPs
Sep 4 BFPs
Oct 7 BFPs

Morning everyone,

@Hopeful110 glad your feeling a bit better today.

@Minster2012 no she is still thinking about arriving properly but just spotting at the moment but it’s better than nothing.

@Crazydoglady123 a psychic reading that sounds exciting!! I love stuff like that.

@paintfairy oh fresh cookies are definitely my downfall to!! I just love them 😋

Florence13 · 06/03/2021 10:30

@Minster2012 sorry to hear your having a stressful week. All of this is emotional but I can understand your allowed twice the amount of emotional with everything you have been through. We are all here for support because you have been the biggest support to all of us.

Gem176 · 06/03/2021 12:37

@Justanothercyster also had the doggo for company, also snoring and taking up way more than half the bed 🙄 I gave in and got up! Made a cooked breakfast then couldn't face it 😩

@Hopeful110 it's a lovely name and shortens really well to Theo which is also super cute. I'd still use it especially if I didn't really know the person. Only names that are off the table are close friends and siblings kids names. Although I have two little cousins with the same name, the older was given a name that his parents liked and then the younger was given the same name as it's a family name on his dads side. Rain hasn't arrived yet but it's imminent.

@Crazydoglady123 i take all jewellery off and everything before going in 😂 refuse to give any clues! I've been too scared to go since meeting oh as both his parents passed away and I never met them. Tiny bit terrified that they would come through with a message or something 🙈

@paintfairy we are west as well and the cold isn't awful but the rain... holy Moses it never stops! And when it does eventually stop there are midgies and they are actual little b*stards! Im from the middle of nowhere in the north west but lived east for over 10 years and forgot just how bad midgies are! My brother is on the east coast and they get it really cold. This was his house at the start of February and they had snow from before Christmas 🙈 but on the plus side they don't get midgies! He also lives in the sticks, we aren't city people 😂

@Minster2012 unusual for her to be up before 8 on a weekend and when she wakes she likes to relax before actually getting going for the day. She puts on her cartoons and plays with Lego for about an hour before coming through for breakfast. Have to get her up super early for school or she won't eat as she refuses if she hasn't been awake for around an hour. Can't blame her though, I'm the same, can't eat as soon as I wake up.
My cakes just don't stay risen they all just sink in the middle, oh likes to think he's helping by telling me I make other things rise very well 🙄 I think I'd be healthier with a banana bread than my chocolate covered tray bakes 🙈
Sorry you aren't feeling great today, big virtual hug incoming 🤗 we all hold in far too many things so definitely don't beat yourself up on that one.

@Franklydear the plan is a log cabin, so you are all welcome to come for a wee holiday. Staycations are apparently all the rage these days 😂

Gem176 · 06/03/2021 12:39

Helps if I add the photo @paintfairy and yep he's clearing snow from the roof as it was getting heavy enough to cave in 🙈

notyetamumbuttrying · 06/03/2021 13:07

@paintfairy certainly is. Covids made waits longer. My hospital aren't doing benign surgeries so can't investigate endo until that starts bk up. Might look into private for that too if pregnancy doesn't occur.
Oh men can be so irritating can't they.
Ouch with the exercise pain! I think Pilates is a good shout, hope you don't struggle too much with the horses x
@Hopeful110 glad you're feeling better today and got a dtd sesh! Very spooky with that insta announcement!
@Crazydoglady123 ah wow that's so cool! I've never gone for one myself, too scared about what they'd say! Plus I'm a bit on the sceptical side too, but I do love hearing of ppl's experiences of them.
@Minster2012 hope you enjoyed your chill time last night. Sorry to hear you're feeling meh hun, understandable given that memory and your friend. X
@Justanothercyster bit annoying but will continue into next week and I'll update once received. How are you?
@Gem176 wow that pic! I love snow but it is a pain trying to go about your day to day with it.

Franklydear · 06/03/2021 13:10

@Gem176 pencil me in! That looks a dream, if it has WiFi we can leave there, DH will struggle but ds and I will be fine
@Minster2012 it's shame because I have the wine and want to drink it, it just never the right time without being too knackered to bother
Bossboy rocked into work at 10, I bloody hope he takes this holiday, I want rid of him for a while

paintfairy · 06/03/2021 13:21

@Minster2012 God yeah. I put one on (looked like a good series that built up) and she was going on. I thought I can't listen to that, but persevered. I got bored and fast forwarded 10 minutes and she was still going on about breathing and being thankful. Turned it off! 🤣
I completely get why you feel down about it. I honestly don't know how you've been through as much as you have. I don't think I could. I don't think I have a much fight as you do? But it is a really hard journey and it's bound to get to you some days. I actually managed to have a sensible talk with DH earlier. But he was mistakenly under the illusion that fertility treatment = baby. I explained that no way does it mean anything will happen and I went through all the things that can go wrong. So I said don't for one second think this is a done deal. But even when you know it isn't- it doesn't make it easier to handle it when things don't go to plan. And most people probably do keep it in. 😔
@Gem176 I had forgotten about the midges! My horses certainly wouldn't like that. 🤣 And the snow! Omg! That's madness! Not sure which is worse! But the no people, that's a definite pull!
@Florence13 even better when they are warm! I actually found a good recipe for making them earlier in lockdown. But had to stop. I just ate them all. 🤣
@notyetamumbuttrying everything you need at the moment covid is an excuse! Yes I think I'll try pilates. Which my phone wants to change to pirates every time. Either or. 🤣☠

Minster2012 · 06/03/2021 13:25

@Gem176 god I wish DS would like to relax before getting up rather than shouting DADDY MUMMY DADDDDDYYYY at 6-6.30! But he sleeps all night so I still can't complain 🤣. And thank you, a lovely cabin sounds fab right about now 😝

@Florence13 well I guess spotting is at least progress! God hark at us eh! Thank you hun, do you like psychic things! Fresh cookies hmmmmm

@Franklydear if only I could help you drink the wine! When does his holiday start??

@notyetamumbuttrying thank you, how are you getting on with your appointments & the private balancing? Are you waiting on the SA?

OP posts:
Minster2012 · 06/03/2021 13:27

@paintfairy did you manage to sort the horses? Maybe DH needs to crack your back? And that sounds like a really good convo with DH 🙌🏻you never know what you can get through til you are put in that situation I think you could xx

OP posts:
Juno231 · 06/03/2021 13:30

@Gem176 omg the thought of midges makes my skin crawl. I get absolutely eaten alive by bugs and get really bad reactions when they do. Eg the week before my wedding I had sepsis from being bitten by mosquitoes in London of all places 😅. Lived in St Andrews for four years btw and never been so cold in my life despite growing up in Sweden!

I'm raging less today ladies, thank you for your lovely words!

Juno231 · 06/03/2021 13:32

@paintfairy good that you and DH had a chat! I guess the follow up is why thinking it would end up in a baby is such an upsetting thing?

paintfairy · 06/03/2021 14:05

@Minster2012 I'm just going to the horses now. It'll be a struggle, I'll just go slow. My shoulder is now hurting too. 🙄 DH will massage things but he can never crack my back! I think its beyond that though. Prior to lockdown I used to go to the physio every 3 months or so to keep on top of it. These things still happened though. I'm useless!
@Juno231 I did ask him if that's what was up with him this week. 🤣He claims not. He's slightly worried he's too old though. And on one hand he's not wrong. But I said you are only too old if you let yourself be? He's also worried about dropping it. 🤣🤣🤣 I said I somehow think every other bloke thought the same before they had a baby. I told him he's thinking too far ahead and worrying about things that really he shouldn't be right now. He did agree.

Florence13 · 06/03/2021 14:08

@paintfairy oh don’t! Might have to make some this afternoon.

@Minster2012 I know 😂 so sad that I’m so happy I have a little spotting but I feel like it means my body is at least trying to do something.

@Gem176 oh wow that is a lot of snow!! I also hate midges.

@Juno231 glad your feeling less rage today.

Crazydoglady123 · 06/03/2021 14:10

@paintfairy I am the biggest sceptic which is why I like to test these people and give nothing away haha! I went the year before last to on the most haunted houses in the UK over night with OH sister as she loves ghost hunts and we did a ouija board there!

@Gem176 where do you live? That snow! I took all my jewellery off too for my first reading, parked far away and walked etc. Ain't giving nowt away 😂

@notyetamumbuttrying I'll be interested to see what gets said this time.

@Minster2012 sorry you feel down lovely. You definitely have been on a long, hard journey and it will take its toll. You're on a similar day to me in your cycle aren't you? I'm feeling pretty emotional today. On @notyetamumbuttrying thread there's a girl whose just had her first ivf transfer and at every update she's given this week I've got emotional at 🙈

Minster2012 · 06/03/2021 14:35

@Crazydoglady123 yes we are very similar days cycle wise, are you just waiting for af to do the ivf bits too? Yes the stimulation, egg collection/fertilisation bit I found the hardest emotionally and I guess that's why I thought with 3 embryos left frozen we would be ok for another. But also I shouldn't complain at our stats if you read my blog it makes for impressive reading, 1 out of 4 ain't bad.

OP posts:
Crazydoglady123 · 06/03/2021 14:48

@Minster2012 I need to read your blog! What's the website again? Infertility is hard without all the drugs that get pumped into you. I think there's so much misconception that IVF = pregnancy which isn't true. I've had to explain this to the OH as I think he thought that it's all down hill when we start.
I've got my AFC scan and AMH blood test with my IVF clinic Tuesday but doing one last Clomid cycle with my NHS consultant on this coming cycle. Just praying it doesn't mess my ovaries up like last time and can start my IVF cycle in April 🙏

Clairey844 · 06/03/2021 14:49

Hi all, just catching up with the new bus and taking one of the nosey/lurker seats 😂

Lovely to hear feom you both @Ltay2 and @blodyn91, sounds like both bubbas are already causing you mischief lol.

And that's so awesome @Dipsy77, huge congratulations 🥰🥰 hands full is probably a slight understatement ha ha. Gorgeous pic though 💓💓

@Mococo1 so lovely to hear from all the originals-wow 37 weeks how has that happened 😂 hope you're feeling good.

All good here, will be 20 weeks on Tuesday then my scan is a week Monday 😬

X

Gem176 · 06/03/2021 14:53

@notyetamumbuttrying I think they got down to -23 one night about a month ago 😱 he got pretty fed up with it. They were having to clear paths and driveways 2/3 times a day just to keep on top of it!

@Franklydear we have WiFi and it's actually not that bad for being in the arse end of nowhere 😂 you can teach dd to knit, she's desperate to learn but I don't know how 🙈

@paintfairy im actually slightly allergic to them, most folk get a wee red mark, I get massive welts and end up on prescription antihistamines. I have scars from a few as a child that got infected because at 6 it's really hard not to scratch 🙈
I have jackets for our two but still see them pelting back and forth in the field of an evening trying to get away from them 😔 barrier equine do a spray that helps a bit, I've considered it for myself a few times 😂
Glad you and DH managed to talk, aren't they absolute buggers for just not talking!!

@Minster2012 she's always been a lazy bones of a morning, likes her time to adjust to being awake 😂 she stopped daytime naps completely by one and even as a baby I'd get 20 mins at most but she's always slept through and never been awake super early so cannot complain at all! My mum used to laugh because I'd be up early and she would be sound but it was the only time to get anything done as she was very much a sticky child who needed to be held ALL THE TIME 🙈 can do pretty much everything one handed now 😂
Well today all I can offer is a shipping container, oh's latest project. A few thousand pounds later and he's installing what will be his new shed/man cave.... the internet has a lot to answer for! Him and his brother are currently using a fork lift and a tractor chuckle brothers style to manoeuvre it into place! I'm watching from a safe distance with tea, trying not to per myself laughing!

@Juno231 despite being eaten alive by midgies and having the worst reactions to them, mosquitos tend to leave me alone 🤷🏻‍♀️ whereas midgies don't bother my dad but mosquitoes home in on him. East coast is always so much colder than west but the west gets the rain, I went to uni in Aberdeen and it was a shock to the system! I love that you grew up in Sweden but found Scotland cold 😂

@Florence13 midgies are the price I pay for this.... please remind me of this mid June when I'm considering selling up and moving to anywhere with none of the little blighters!

@Crazydoglady123 that's my brothers house, he's over near Balmoral. Their winters are harsh! 😂😂😂 yep I'm the same, heavily sceptical that they are just highly perceptive and that I'm giving away everything they need to know. I even wear really plain clothes 🙈

paintfairy · 06/03/2021 14:54

@Florence13 www.bakingmad.com/recipes/copycat-chocolate-chip-millie-s-cookies
They are best if you put the dough in the fridge though before cooking. I trialled this- if you do it too long then I found them more cake like. So no more than 30 minutes i would say! Even 10 helps. Just stops them spreading too thinly when they go in the oven.
@Crazydoglady123 I think you are giving away more than you think. Their ability to read you is amazing and I suppose a skill in itself. I find it quite fascinating. I managed to get hold of a pdf copy of a derren brown book once (not for public eyes) explaining more about how its done. But I couldn't be bothered to read it all. 🤣 Before language existed we'd have operated purely on body language, its just that we've evolved forgetting how to read it! Naturally I'm pretty good at reading people (not like that though, just personality or knowing if people are genuine with what they say etc) and I put that down to spending so much time with horses and dogs etc! I know they are going to do things before they do. And I think it teaches you to watch things? My DH on the other hand has never had that and I find it bizarre he doesn't read situations before they happen. When I'm sat there like- how did you not know that was going to happen? It was obvious. Funny isn't it!
@Minster2012 no, you do have good stats! And likely it'll all work out again. Statistically it has to! But it doesn't mean it's easy. Going back to MAFS- almost pisses me off how at 37 Jules was like I want to be pregnant by next year and then poof- there's a baby! No wonder we all grew up deluded when you see things like that all the time. Poof indeed. 🤣🤣🤣

Gem176 · 06/03/2021 15:02

@paintfairy on the jules thing, I was reading a list of celebs having babies in 2021 (in my defence it was late, I couldn't sleep and it was a sponsored post 😂) and so so many were on baby number 1 and in the 35+ age group. It did make me wonder if they have had help and it's just kept very quiet or if they are just super lucky and very fertile 🤔

Franklydear · 06/03/2021 15:03

@Minster2012 officially Monday, but I hoped he wouldn't come today,
@Gem176. Deal!

Gem176 · 06/03/2021 15:33

@Franklydear I feel this is a most excellent deal! The only thing I've enjoyed about wfh is not seeing my boss 😂 hope he's off for the full three weeks to give you peace 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Justanothercyster · 06/03/2021 15:56

@Minster2012 you've honestly been through so much and I'm sure there's nothing really we can say to make it better, but you're doing your best and that's all you can do. I have my fingers so strongly crossed for this next round and just praying you get the rainbow you deserve 💕 have lots of treats and rest xx

@Gem176 ahhhh I would've destroyed a cooked breakfast haha. So hungry.

@notyetamumbuttrying yes please do. I'm ok thanks, just had a nice walk and now reading my book x

paintfairy · 06/03/2021 16:39

@Gem176 I don't get bothered by them really but when I visited my Wales friends once they were bad there, and it did my head in! One of my horses has sweet itch so he'd not be a fan. 🤣 I have to spray him even here. Yeah men are pretty crap. This happens and next time he says he'll talk, but never does. I have to drag it out of him. I've noticed that with the older mums. Meghan Markle was another one. I do wonder if they pay and keep quiet. But then I do know actual people that have managed it too! I also know younger people that haven't. It seems to be getting worse really. Maybe there's something in the water!
@Clairey844 not long to go now! Exciting!

larrythelizard · 06/03/2021 16:51

Sorry you're feeling a bit meh @Minster2012. I think it's pretty acceptable for you to be feeling like that, just roll with it for a bit then pull your big girl pants on and find a PMA when you're ready,

I have visions of @Sausage1990 sitting there with a spoon eating the sprinkles!

I do not know what's going on with me, CD14 and I feel a bit periody and have brown CM. No sign of ovulation so wtf is going on?! Argh so annoying and taking up far too much headspace!
