No mean girls reports to MN last time ladies 😆🙌🏻I don’t know whether that’s a result or not, but seeing as it was the Spring Zen bus I think that was good 🦋🌸🌷🌻

So it’s back to the usual routine & realising men know NOTHING about ovulation, but then again, do our bodies?? Except for the science teachers that is 😉

We are still working on our spring challenges alongside trying to get pregnant and we’ve had great results so far.

Our bus is helping each other get fitter, more positive through sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...as well as of course being there for each other during the sad times.

Have a look at the small changes beside the names and see if you want to try them yourself or add in your own!

Last month we had some fab BFPs including an OG 🥰♥️🙌🏻💪🏻so bring on March for more of the same please as well as investigations IVF fun for some others...
Spring is coming, and so are we 😘🦄🍀🌸🌷🌻🌼

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

August 18 BFPs
Sep 4 BFPs
Oct 7 BFPs

Let’s go go go for March!

@blackcurrantqueen oh no! Sorry you're feeling down, here to talk if you need to x

@lucyrp haha! I want to savour every second of this time before the chaos!

Franklydear · 07/03/2021 09:12

@Sausage1990 i know, go ds! Hopefully a sign of more things to come on the menu
@Kirky658 just doing my due diligence at the moment, I'll get the autistic children association to help with the appeal
@Minster2012 it's good to chill
@2alreadywantanother gorgeous ds, happy birthday!

Vil10 · 07/03/2021 09:37

@paintfairy sorry I'm only just replying now, I haven't been on here all weekend!! But you're completely right, everyone is bound to feel fed up one way or another at the minute, and work hours that long can't be good for anyone! Oh that's sad, no matter what age, not even getting a card from your parents is bound to wind you up! I think the best thing to do is let him deal with this rut in whatever we he sees fit and just leave him to it until he can speak to you properly without biting your head off!x

@notyetamumbuttrying Thankyou!!x

@Justanothercyster they did, they couldn't stop thanking us!x

@Minster2012 im so sorry you had a rough day yesterday, but completely understandable!! This shit is hard but you're doing so well!! Sending hugs❤️

@2alreadywantanother so sorry that you think you're out!! Definitely book an appointment just to put your mind at rest! Happy birthday to you ds❤️

Katao · 07/03/2021 10:27

Thanks @Minster2012 I was supposed to test tomorrow morning but cracked and did an frer this morning 10dpo and after squinting at it under all available light sources I can confirm it is a bfn 😒 so in that limbo of it could be too early/it's probably just a bfn. How are you feeling?

@2alreadywantanother he's gorg, sounds like a great birthday treat 😃 sorry about the temp drop.

Gem176 · 07/03/2021 10:30

@Florence13 the positives far outweigh the negatives but sometimes I really miss jumping in the car and being in the city in 20 mins. Particularly knowing that all going well in a few months I'll have to be in the hospital at least once a fortnight but know I needed to be in for monitoring every 3 days towards the end last time. Not an issue 20 mins away but when it's almost 3 hours each way it becomes a bit more daunting. I can't even just jump ship to my mums to be closer as dd has school and things so I need to be at home. Just having a bit of a panic!

@Crazydoglady123 Christmas Twinnies incoming 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Sausage1990 I was far too ambitious 😂 I managed a cake for OHs birthday just passed, ugly but it tasted alright and didn't sink 🙌🏻 im crediting sponge flour and weighing eggs! Scared it was a fluke so haven't tried again since 🤣 I'll definitely take you up on the offer of tips! Think I might make scones today, I fancy some, they are generally successful and what else is there to do on a rainy Sunday while OH is outside faffing with his new project 🙈
Sounds like a great birthday despite lockdown 😊

@2alreadywantanother happy birthday to your ds from a fellow type 1 🥳
DDs aunt lives near cork, her husband is Irish and "happy out" is one of my absolute favourite turns of phrase he uses. I also have a very unhealthy love for tanora and jambons, I miss Ireland 😢

@lucyrp 17 weeks already, wow!! Almost half way 😁 based on last scan I am exactly 6 weeks behind you.

Kirky658 · 07/03/2021 11:03

@justanothercyster I think it is good to be honest if you can be! I just wrote this:

"we've been keeping a big secret.... We are delighted to announce Baby C is due September 2021! Out of bad times come miracles.. Onto our biggest adventure yet"

Kept it simple with a selfie of us & looking goofy with the scan pic. Most of my FB friends know about my endo journey & struggles that came with it so that made it a bit easier.

Bit worried atm as DH and I keep falling out. He is irritating me over the stupidest tiniest things and my mood swings are awful. He keeps saying it's OK, he gets it, but I think I'm just scared that we are having a child and I have no idea how I'm going to look after him/her 🤔

Florence13 · 07/03/2021 11:42

@Gem176 oh bless you yes I can completely understand that sounds super daunting and a bit of a logistical nightmare. Everything has its pros and cons I guess.

@blackcurrantqueen sorry to hear your feeling down.

@Katao sorry to hear about the bfn but as you say it could be to early the limbo is just the worst ever.

@Kirky658 aww that sounds lovely.

Florence13 · 07/03/2021 11:43

@Kirky658 sorry it posted to soon the announcement sounds lovely but sorry to hear your having a bit of a rough time with partner irritating you but if it’s any consolation I think it’s a completely normal part of the journey into parenthood.

InkyPaper · 07/03/2021 11:53

Hey everyone

Sorry I've not been commenting much, it's been a bit of a weird few days (IBS flare coupled with life stress and work nonsense, has not been fun). AF hasn't turned up though (currently CD55) so my plan is to test next weekend if it's still awol. Hope you're all doing well!

@blackcurrantqueen big hugs! ❤️

@Kirky658 yay on announcing! It sounds perfectly normal to be worried about how you'll cope with a baby, after all it's not like they come with manuals 😂 don't beat yourself up about it, from what I hear it's a learn on the job kinda situation 😊

@Minster2012 the biggest of hugs for you, lovely ❤️ hope today is a better day

Katao · 07/03/2021 12:10

Thanks @Florence13. I knew doing it I'd only annoy myself but couldn't stop myself 😂
@Kirky658 that all sounds pretty normal tbh. It's a big thing, it's going to be a bit scary but you will do fine! As for the hormones no solution, I'm the same with pms 🙈

Justanothercyster · 07/03/2021 12:10

@Kirky658 aw sweet. I think that's normal tbh, they never really know what you're going through which can be frustrating. I've also had the "omg how do I raise a whole human" worry 😂 baby books! Try to keep each other sane by doing some nice non baby things too x

@InkyPaper eek sounds like you're having a bit of a rough few days, hope the ibs calms down soon, it's rotten. Good luck for the weekend 🤞🏼

lucyrp · 07/03/2021 12:17

@Justanothercyster I'm between wanting it to hurry up and enjoying it. Although when I get further along I'm going to be flustered at work so pros and cons 😂

@Gem176 yeah only 3 weeks until my next scan now!🥰 oh really wow!

Gem176 · 07/03/2021 12:32

@Kirky658 lovely announcement 🥰 hormones and stress of the unknown have a lot to answer for!! It's good that DH is being understanding but not great that you are feeling like this. Reality hits a bit hard some days. It's been that long since I did the baby bit that it feels like starting all over again. I'm not sure I'll know what to do and definitely worried about how it will all work with DD as we have our little routine and trying to fit the huge needs of a new born into that is looking impossible at the moment.

@Florence13 the pros outweigh the cons, a few weeks/months of logistical nightmares means a childhood of relative freedom. Feral children 😂

@lucyrp oh that's exciting! Are you finding out if bump is a boy or a girl? I think you had said you wanted to then weren't sure if maybe you wanted a surprise? Do you think you will do a private one further on? I think the 3D ones are amazing!! My 12 week is next Monday. Absolutely bricking it!

Minster2012 · 07/03/2021 12:36

Awww no downs for a few of us then, huddling up with @InkyPaper @blackcurrantqueen @Katao for the bfn (can def be too early we know that), @Franklydear on school admin crap
and @2alreadywantanother on the temp drop big squeezes for us all and I'm passing around a wine/tea/tequila/cake slice whatever you need ladies

To everyone else thanks for keeping us up and big girl pants on here, I've just done my physical exercise for today, I did ARMS & BACK day in the shape of pulling DS for a "dog walk" on his pull along tractor at 8am for ages whilst DH had a lie in (I was awake since 3.30 basically) & then staying outside to do the thankless task of scraping moss off bricks out in our garden wall /path /steps for 2.5 hours & sweeping/clearing patio. Looks soooo much better though & DS was out too with us so we are all knackered now 🙌🏻😴🥱. Only 3 al fresco wees for DS & an alfresco 💩too where he was already crowning as he shouted "poo poo" 🙀😹so we were like great we've just cleaned that bit of patio 🙄😬
Anyway. Job done. Next job after finishing a decaf I started at 11.30!

Franklydear · 07/03/2021 12:53

Well, DH has the athletics on the telly all day, hes currently reading the paper though, and school paperwork finshed for now, equals me fucking bored

Kirky658 · 07/03/2021 12:58

@florence13 @inkypaper @katao @justanothercyster @gem176 thanks ladies ❤️ my hormones are just all over the place this week and I think it just hit me I'm having a baby... Why don't midwives give you a manual that's what I want to know 🙄😅

Gem176 · 07/03/2021 13:13

@Minster2012 job done or jobby done 🤣 sorry!!

@Kirky658 because they know that everything they could possibly put in a manual will be offered to you in the form of unsolicited advice by complete strangers in the final weeks of pregnancy/first few weeks of motherhood.... really midwives are just saving trees by not printing it up 🤣

MartyMcShy · 07/03/2021 13:25

Aw @kirky658, totally normal worries there. We realised neither of us had changed a nappy before our DD was born! We hadn't a clue but we muddled through. My mum was great for advice and helping out so take any help you can...and sleep when baby does 🤣

Ha sounds like an eventful day there with DS @Minster2012. I do love when they don't give much notice!! Sounds like you've had a very productive morning. Hoping you're feeling a bit better today.

Sorry to hear you're feeling down @blackcurrantqueen. I hope you'll be ok.

It look like the mood is a bit low with a few of us these days. Ttc is taking its toll. I'm fed up of it seeping into my whole relationship with my DH. I'm waiting on AF here. After my early peak on CB it was supposed to be here yest according to my apps. I've my usual pre AF signs now so expecting her tomorrow. Which is fine coz I wasn't too hopeful this month and it'll mean I'll be on track to get my tubes checked. So I'll try (very hard) to look on the positive side.

larrythelizard · 07/03/2021 13:27

Happy Birthday to your boy @2alreadywantanother!

I don't ovulate until day 21ish @Asthenia...good on you having that stamina!!

Sending love @blackcurrantqueen 💜

@Sausage1990 your cake I great, I'm not a bad baker but atrocious at decorating! I can't eat dairy so tend to go for vegan cakes, have ordered one for DH's birthday next weekend instead of pulling my finger out myself to make it!

@Minster2012 my DS has a little tractor, it's got pedals but he hasn't worked them out yet and he's always wanting to be pushed, it's such a pain and kills my hamstrings/lower back!

paintfairy · 07/03/2021 13:29

@Kirky658 I'd be shitting myself, so I think you are doing ok! Good announcement!
@InkyPaper sorry things have been bonkers. I hope it gets better soon and AF (or something!) happens.
@blackcurrantqueen understandable. But I'm sorry you still feel that way. I hope you can start feeling more positive again soon.
@Sausage1990 I do the Mary Berry Victoria sponge recipe. It's about the only thing I can do! I do alter it slightly though and I also mix my sugar and butter first. I find it results in better rising? I've attached my last effort. But I've stopped making them because I eat them all? 🤣
@Minster2012 I've caught up with your blog. Productive day too it seems? We had a really nice dog walk in the sun but I've not achieved much else so far. I think you'll feel more positive once things start happening again hopefully? It's still amazing you can do it and have the eggs! It is meant to be!

I've got a fertility related question. If you have IUI they give you progesterone. Obviously they also do with ivf. After you are pregnant (wishful thinking here 🤣) do they do scans before 12 weeks? My concern is (yes, I worry about everything here, but I'm practical!) if anything went wrong then you wouldn't necessarily miscarry, because of the medication, and therefore I'd not want to wait until 12 weeks to realise it all went wrong at 4? Does that make sense?

lucyrp · 07/03/2021 13:36

@Kirky658 I.e the falling out I've been so emotional the last week and actually woke up at midnight the other night and cried for 4 hours straight until 4am and then had to wake OH up to make me feel better and he was grumpy saying what on earth am I upset for etc etc and then he was actually very understanding after but my hormones are all over the place literally 🙈

Justanothercyster · 07/03/2021 13:48

@paintfairy I don't think so, that's why so many people pay for private early ones. I've booked one for a couple weeks time.

paintfairy · 07/03/2021 14:05

@Justanothercyster ah OK. How much is a private one? I think it's definitely worth doing that!

Kirky658 · 07/03/2021 14:06

@gem176 that sounds about right 🤣🤣
@martymcshy thank you hun my mum living 5 mins walk away is going to be a godsend I know it
@lucyrp aww hun, bloody minefield isn't it!

Justanothercyster · 07/03/2021 14:50

@paintfairy the cheapest I could find in my area that I booked was £70. I don't mind though, I just want to see bub x
