No mean girls reports to MN last time ladies 😆🙌🏻I don’t know whether that’s a result or not, but seeing as it was the Spring Zen bus I think that was good 🦋🌸🌷🌻

So it’s back to the usual routine & realising men know NOTHING about ovulation, but then again, do our bodies?? Except for the science teachers that is 😉

We are still working on our spring challenges alongside trying to get pregnant and we’ve had great results so far.

Our bus is helping each other get fitter, more positive through sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...as well as of course being there for each other during the sad times.

Going back to syringes - who was it? @Tornado2Inc ? I also tend to have spare ones as I use them for the horses. So if I randomly need one I have some. You can buy them off ebay.

@InkyPaper hinges on your area and how useless your GP is. But I had day 2 and 21 bloods, a chlamydia test, and they checked my rubella antibodies. The nurse actually said to me that it takes 2 to make a baby and DH should get checked. So I made him call his GP (different practice) and tell them he needed an SA. They were fine about it. That's useful to have as by the time you get referred 3 months has usually passed and they can then do another. They like to have 2. The initial call (was phone appointment as covid) to GP - i just said we'd been trying xxx amount of time and I think we need it looking into. I specifically booked with a lady GP too.

Thanks @Crazydoglady123 and @paintfairy I went last time in December after my neverending cycle, they did basic hormone panel which apparently came back fine, and I basically got told the only option was the pill or to wait three months until it'd been a year. Hoping they'll be more useful this time but I just wasn't sure what to expect. Slightly worried about having to do a day 2 and day 21 blood test as I could be waiting months and months for my next period after this one 😂 ok, thanks ladies, that's given me a better idea of what to ask for ❤️

@Minster2012 ahhhh I'm glad you managed to re book your break to Center Parcs! It'll be a nice escape just before the hustle and bustle of Christmas too!

Well, day 7 of flashy smiley! I'm gonna stop for now and re start it from monday, as ovulation has potential to be next Saturday 🤞 but premom and FF have now picked out ovulation and has me at 4 dpo today.... based on my LH strip and my CM being stringy over the weekend...my temp increase isn't as much as Oct so not sure if I've ovulated or just warming up... heres my LH strip pic, it looks dark but not sure its actually peak :/ anyone agree with the apps?? Or should we still assume I haven't ovulated yet?? Xx

@Justanothercyster I would go with the girls advice around covid and just say you don't want to commit to anything yet because everything is so up in the air and maybe by end of summer you'll know more... gives you abit of time until you tell them :)

@Hopeful110 plans for the weekend? Well, I ordered tiramisu in the shopping, for mother's day, if DH and ds are planning something, they are keeping quiet, but tbh I would be happy if they went for a long walk so I could be alone for a while without having to do a child free chore

@Franklydear ohhh that sounds good, I'm gonna make a cheesecake in an easter egg lol that's my treat! I'm sure they will spoil you! I dunno about you but all I want is a nice lay in, a bowl of cereal to eat in peace and a nice bubble bath 🤣 house chores are a no no on mother's day I say 🤗

@Minster2012 it's definitely the darkest one since last Oct and it's registered as peak on premom app but confused me because the CB digi didn't show static smiley...just flashy lol 🤷‍♀️ maybe il just go with it and see what my bbt does over the next few days and still do the smep from monday just incase it was a fluke. And on the ol pill pusher I'm game 🤣 il give anything a go haha! Plus it means I wouldn't have to climb on 🍆 and work hard for lake spermo 🤣 but on mother's day front I know what you mean! Ok so af hasn't turned up. 2 days late now did another test this evening and bfn. Not fmu obviously but that shouldn't really matter if I'm late though should it? But then with irregular cycles I can't really be sure what late is. Usually short cycles last few between 22 and 25 days. LP usually 12 days and I'm now cd27/14 dpo. Obviously just by posting all this af will arrive right?😂

Sorry to hear of all the sad updates, seemed to have been a lot of them in my mammoth catch up 😔

Not a lot of amazing news from me I'm afraid. I have been diagnosed with pre eclampsia today following my routine antenatal midwife appointment this morning where protein was found in my urine (was fine on Friday last week at my scan) so I was sent to maternity assessment at the hospital for further monitoring and subsequently admitted to the ward. So here I am at almost 2am drinking crappy hospital tea coz I can't sleep and awaiting my next 4-hourly blood pressure reading at around 5am!

Waiting to see the doctor/consultant tomorrow once I've got 24 hours worth of blood pressure readings (they are ok for now only very slightly high) when they can review my urine and blood test results again. Not sure if I'll have to stay in until baby is born now or if I'll be allowed to go home and come in every day for monitoring, not sure which I'd prefer as I'm not allowed to drive myself so coming in every day to wait around for hours would be a pain in the ass when OH is still at work as don't want him to stop working until absolutely necessary then he has longer when baby is actually here as he only gets 2.5 weeks. The plan now is looking at possible induction at 36/37 weeks if nothing improves. I'm 36 weeks on Saturday so it's all got very real very fast!

Don't mean to scare any of you that are newly preg with this news! Me and baby are both ok, just a very unexpected turn of events and now being on a ward surrounded by newborn babies having to get my head around the fact that I am actually about to have my own baby soon as up til now I don't think it's felt really real 🙈

@Minster2012 yeah I think it could of been, been tryna compare against Oct ovulation and it seems pretty similar symptoms, gonna keep dtd just incase though lol. And yeah I really hope the OH's make an effort...I dunno about you but I always make sure on fathers day he gets spoilt so would be nice to have the same without having to remind them or beg 🤣 xx

@ltay2 we would have been due around the same time 😥 but it I'd what it is. I has preeclampsia symptoms with both my pregnancies. Never actually diagnosed 👀 was in hospital for nearly 5wks on 1st at the end. Baby was tachycardia, protein in urine, floaters and dissy. But all was well. You will be fine. Try and get some rest, impossible in there I know, look after yourself. Looking forward to ur news xx

@juno231 what a nightmare on the remortgage front. Is there any way of going with someone other than Halifax that might not make you jump through so many ridiculous hoops?

@bez91 my placenta was starting to detatch and I kept having big bleeds so it was strictly nothing that would cause my womb to move. When she said no sex it was a blow, when she then followed with no oral, no manual, no toys nothing at all that could cause an orgasm from now till baby is born and I was only 24 weeks at that point it seemed like a life sentence at the time 😱
On the mid cycle bleeding I had it for the first time after my latest CP the doc said if its just a one off not to worry about it as losses can send your hormones haywire. But if you've been having it every cycle since Dec I'd give your docs a call just to double check to reassure you, they might want to give you a check up.

@inkypaper, questions about your cycle, any irregularities, how often you're having sex, bmi and general health, health of partner, smoking/drinking amount, arranged for bloods for me & scan, SA for partner.

@justanothercyster could you say that with so many companies going bust due to covid you'd rather not book anything that far in advance just now. Then by the time it gets closer you can tell them about bubs?

@Hopeful110 I made Easter egg cheesecake with DS the other week, they're delicious and yet so easy, enjoy! I don't think we've anything special planned. I'm deliberately not reminding DH about mothers day to see if he actually remembers to get me a card from DS, which I'm not hopeful for as it's usually me in charge of birthdays etc.

@Katao what a tease your cycle is being, how frustrating for you.

@Ltay2 glad to hear your and bubs are OK despite the pre eclampsia. They may ask you to stay as it can change quite quickly. I developed pre e towards the end of mine tho I must say if the hospital hadn't told me I had it I would have never have known as I didn't feel any the worse for it. I dont mean for that to sound scary its supposed to be reasurring that if you are made to stay in hospital not to worry as they'll be monitoring you for any changes and pick up on it really quickly before it even gets the chance to develop into eclampsia so while it's a pain being woken round the clock for obvs think of it as a reasurring comfort instead. Not long now till you'll have your little one in your arms, so exciting 🥰

Morning girls!! Sorry I've been absent these last few days, work has been so so hectic and I've just not found a lot of time to do much else!! Nothing to update here from me, other than it's my birthday Monday, not like it means much because we can't do anything😂 i just missed the lockdown last year and OH took me for a lovely weekend away in York so I'm gutted we can't do anything nice this year!! But OH is going to cook steak on Saturday and we'll have a few drinks, then to the mothers on Sunday for a roast and I'm making her creme egg brownies! Hope everyone else is okay❤️

Thanks everyone I was a bit frustrated yesterday but today I'm thinking it may be a good thing. I think I ovulated a couple of days later than usual at cd13 which was good and now maybe my LP has lengthened out too so a bit more normal all around! I started taking conceive plus vitamins last cycle so maybe that is having a positive effect.

@Ltay2 sorry you are having a hard time, these things are never as straightforward as we think. You are in the right place and what ever needs to be done will be done. Thinking of you x

@DKDK123 I definitely would prefer to stay in hospital than go home as if I went home I'd just be worrying and would still have to come in multiple times a week to get monitored and potentially wait around for hours if they were busy which would be even more stressful! My mum had pre eclampsia which developed into eclampsia with seizures etc when she had me so know what worse case can be xx

@katao I'm sorry for the late AF/BFN combo - what a mind f**k!

@DKDK123 ah thing is we already have one mortgage with halifax so because of that this deal was the best one by far that we found. It's quite tricky to get an interest only BTL mortgage now as well so we're worried we might actually have to carry on repaying the capital. Come May when our interest rate goes up it would mean making a loss every month which isn't ideal when the only reason we kept the flat is because covid scuppered our sale! Ultimately we're lucky to be in this position though so I shouldn't moan too much.

@Ltay2 Crappy about the pre e but I'm so glad you're taken good care of and that they took it seriously. Much rather that than them missing it and it getting worse!

12DPO - temp went up today so I took an IC just in case but def still a BFN. Waiting for AF to arrive then!
