No mean girls reports to MN last time ladies 😆🙌🏻I don’t know whether that’s a result or not, but seeing as it was the Spring Zen bus I think that was good 🦋🌸🌷🌻

So it’s back to the usual routine & realising men know NOTHING about ovulation, but then again, do our bodies?? Except for the science teachers that is 😉

We are still working on our spring challenges alongside trying to get pregnant and we’ve had great results so far.

Our bus is helping each other get fitter, more positive through sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...as well as of course being there for each other during the sad times.

Have a look at the small changes beside the names and see if you want to try them yourself or add in your own!

Last month we had some fab BFPs including an OG 🥰♥️🙌🏻💪🏻so bring on March for more of the same please as well as investigations IVF fun for some others...
Spring is coming, and so are we 😘🦄🍀🌸🌷🌻🌼

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

Story so far...

June 24 BFPs
July 11 BFPs
August 18 BFPs
Sep 4 BFPs
Oct 7 BFPs
Nov 7 BFPs

@Kirky658 when you find the manual let us know! Ahhhh @Gem176 raises a good point though a lot of stuff is also telling you where you are going wrong. In their minds.

@Franklydear how have you entertained yourself?? We've also been spring cleaning, so just done that for another couple of hours. So that's more good jobs done, then DH kept saying "god I'm so horny & you keep bending over, can we just distract him with the iPad for a bit"....so we have 🤗😋😉happy Sunday here!

@MartyMcShy bright side here too as well now, so we can now be the sunny side but you don't have to if you have AF coming don't worry and yes thanks feeling better especially now got good jobs done.

@larrythelizard yes we have a pedal one (which he also can't pedal) and a smaller one. Both of which I had the genius idea one day to pull along with an extra dog lead. No pushing here, it's pulling. Still annoying but more efficient. You could even run if you wanted (he often says "race" but I'm not stupid 😝)

See pic

@paintfairy yes with ivf you get a viability scan at around 7.5/ 8 weeks then you get discharged into the nhs midwifery system. IUI I guess the same. So by your 12 week scan you've already had one. I never made it to that viability scan last year as I sensed something was up and paid for a private one the week before & found out the baby had already stopped growing the week before. It was a missed miscarriage. And yes the meds often stop the bleeding but not always, there are a number of ladies who even bleed before the end of the TWW or around 6 weeks same as in "normal" pregnancies. My friend did with xander, we ended up in EPU with a bleed at 6 weeks despite being still on progesterone til 12 weeks (frozen transfer is usually til 12 weeks).

On the horn front, nothing scapes an autistic child, and at 10 we need him to be asleep, we dtd before he woke up though

Minster2012 · 07/03/2021 15:23

@larrythelizard would help wouldn't it!

@Franklydear good job done on the admin! 🙌🏻usually nothing escapes a toddler that follows daddy round either but it didn't take long! 🤣so do you just have night sex or do you mean can be before 10am too?

OP posts:
Franklydear · 07/03/2021 15:52

@Minster2012 we usually have am, either middle of the night, or wake up time, luckily ds sleeps in most weekends, I feel to tired at bedtime and just want to sleep

Franklydear · 07/03/2021 15:53

@Minster2012 sorry I meant 10 years old, not 10 am

notyetamumbuttrying · 07/03/2021 16:10

@Justanothercyster ooh sounds interesting. Must check her out!
@blackcurrantqueen aw sorry to hear that. I hope you get through it x
@lucyrp 17 weeks is great! You finding out the sex at next scan?
@Vil10 you had a nice weekend hun?
@2alreadywantanother happy bday to your ds. What a great boy you have!
@Minster2012 love that pic! ♥️

Sausage1990 · 07/03/2021 16:14

@florence13 yes give Mary Berry a go - she's the cake queen.

@justanothercyster no I don't follow them on Facebook but I will take a look. Sounds like. Something I'd enjoy lol 👍🏻

@kirky685 so glad your annoucements went down well 💕 definitely makes it more real I'm sure 😊

@larrythelizard ahhh yes a dairy free cake is more challenging but that's why I love the marry Berry recipe, because the only diary she uses is butter which you cna replace with pure spread or vitalite and its perfect.

@paintfairy ohhh look at yours!!! Another Mary fan 🥰 and yes I do the sugar and butter together 1st too as I agree, it rises better. I think it helps get more air into the mixture... I do add a bit of vanilla extract usually too (although this time sued almond extract instead). I don't bake much any more for the same reason haha too temping to eat it all 🙈😍

@lucyrp gosh I can't believe you're nearly half way through already and @gem176 your scan next week will be all good, I'm putting positive energy out there for you 💕

@florence13 I'm okay thanks. I have nothing to update from me... Still waiting for my peak opk, still waiting for changes to my cm to suggest ovulation is soon. CD24 and so far nothing. Last cycle I had my peak on CD35 so unfortunately I think this will be similar.

So interestingly I've had my both my Covid vaccines in these last 2 long cycles and I can't help wonder if its made them longer, as in the immune response to the vaccine is like a stress factor and therefore delayed ovulation... I don't know for sure but just can't understand why my cycles have both been long. I mean it's probably just my fuck boy body but I'm hoping it covid vaccine related meaning that next cycle will be normal... Only time will tell i suppose.

Hope everyone's doing well. X

notyetamumbuttrying · 07/03/2021 16:25

@Sausage1990 interesting about the Covid vaccine and your cycles! The correlation makes sense. I wonder if I'll be offered once I get to the private clinic?! Not sure what I'd do tbh, suppose I'll wait n see what they say about it.

larrythelizard · 07/03/2021 16:52

Oh that would be the dream @Minster2012 but I fear my idiot child would insist on being the one that pulled it!

I should stop being so lazy and give that a go @Sausage1990...maybe for Easter?!

I realised I was in a flap the last few days as I wondered if the random spotting was ovulation (and acupuncture had worked) yet nothing showing up on ovulation sticks of any sort but this morning I gave my head a wobble and remembered I haven't being ovulated until day 20/21 so no need to panic!

Was telling a friend all about this week and she said she'd literally only just thrown out her spare progesterone stuff from IVF and I could have just 'had a go' on it 😂😂😂...you'll remember that I considered buying some online just to have a go!

bez91 · 07/03/2021 17:11

Caught up... wrote a whole response and puff is disappeared 😭

@Sausage1990 thanks for the cake recommendation, may try with DD on my day off! Amazing that you're making a 3 tier .. what an awesome friend you are!

@2alreadywantanother sorry about the BBT 😔 HB to your boy too! I've been contemplating starting tracking BBT for a while but I'm not sure how strict you have to be with it, like DD bombs in our bedroom every morning at 5am and I think you have to lie still for ages don't you?

@Kirky658 think that's completely normal with you and DH. It's true that nothing prepares you for being a parent. I think the only advice I'd give would be to talk through expectations with DH about the bad times before baby is here i.e crying, sleepless nights and certainly when you want him to kick visitors out!

@Minster2012 sounds a super productive morning! I'm sure we have the same tractor and success on distracting your DS, you lucky git! We have been much of the same this weekend, DH has been levelling part of the garden out and laying sleepers. Hope you're feeling a little better today ❤️

Hopeful110 · 07/03/2021 17:24

Oh gosh it's been a lazy one today! I've done all the housework! Right down to washing down the skirting boards 🤣🤦‍♀️ BUT.... my temp dropped today and I also got another flashy smiley for the 3rd day now, however... tmi but I've had no underwear on today just my fluffy dressing gown, and I constantly feel 'wet' ....when I wiped with my finger it's sort of creamy colour but like water texture if that makes sense, and quite a bit of it too... ive got cramps too...so now im thinking I could actually be ovulating really soon...I done my cheap opk and its alot darker than the rest I've had my whole cycle but not quite darker than the control line. Tried to get some 🍆 but his watching footy or something so said tonight 🤔 lol 🤞🤞🤞🤞 its actually ovulation! Not sure if they will be able to tell if its happened by my trans ultrasound tomorrow?? Xx

2alreadywantanother · 07/03/2021 17:46

Thank you all for the birthday wishes for my ds. Hes a gem. The softest and kindest heart. The one that gets him will be blessed.

@minster2012 not now with the drop this morning I dont. Save the tests lol.

@bez91 yes you have to take 1st thing when you wake at the same time. And yes you have to lie relaxed. Dont get up or drink water etc. If ds lands in at 5am each morning could u set an alarm for 4.55am. I set an alarm for the same time daily on my fit so it gently wakes me.

paintfairy · 07/03/2021 17:51

@Justanothercyster that's reasonable I think! Worth it for piece of mind.
@Minster2012 ah that's interesting! Thank you.
@Hopeful110 yes they will be able to tell. I went 1 day after I thought I ovulated. She said she could see i had ovulated from my right ovary. I asked if she knew when but she said they can't tell. Just that it's happened.
@Sausage1990 yes I add vanilla extract too. I'm not sure why she doesn't. Odd about the long cycles but that does make sense. Illness can delay it and if its triggering a response in the body to make antibodies then your body is thinking that there is a problem. So it makes sense. However that's not really ideal if ttc.
@larrythelizard annoying about the progesterone! Typical.
@Crazydoglady123 I forgot to reply about your thing last night. It did make me chuckle slightly - kind of imagined you sat there suddenly losing it and wondering if the woman on the other end thinks you are a crackpot. 🤣 They must get all sorts mind. But I hope some of it was useful to you.

paintfairy · 07/03/2021 18:07

This bloody website! Aaarrrgghhh. 3rd time lucky. I hope. My phone keyboard randomly goes off, which means I accidentally tap something else and lose everything! 😡

@Gem176 my brother is 35 this year and still lives at home. Doesn't look like he's going anywhere. And I work with 2 blokes (one 34 and one almost 37) who are in the same boat! So it seems standard.
I've also a fair few friends who all had kids in their 30s. Certainly doesn't seem to be 20s any more as standard.

Kirky658 · 07/03/2021 18:09

@bez91 very good advice! I've already said I don't want his parents here for a week or so after the birth at least, I said we need a few days just to get used to it and he agrees. He's been a gem to be honest, he's really excited x

Kirky658 · 07/03/2021 18:10

@paintfairy so true, sometimes I feel like more of an odd one having a little one at 27! Most people I know are having little ones into their mid late 30s x

Crazydoglady123 · 07/03/2021 18:51

@paintfairy I was kinda hoping she was used to it and not think I'm a nut job 😬 She did tell me she had a MC a long time ago herself so she was quite sympathetic tbf. If she's right, I'd be well happy with twins. Get two pregnancies out of the way in one 👌 Not quite sure about the baby quints the docs were worried about on the last Clomid cycle...imagine carrying 5 babies 😱 How have things been with you and OH? Is he more chilled about it again now? Are you the Instagram I follow with the person riding western?

@2alreadywantanother happy birthday to your DS! Mines a "sweaty gamer" apparently and been gaming all day 😅

@Minster2012 your DS reminds me of how tractor obsessed mine was when he was little 💙 We built his a John Deere tractor bed when he was little.

paintfairy · 07/03/2021 19:02

@Kirky658 I think your body is more adaptable younger. And also you have more energy! So likely is better. But I was single at your age. 🤣 I was with someone from 18 until 25 but we never got that far.
@Crazydoglady123 🤣 I think mostly people probably do understand. I mean, you can tell true nutters usually! 😆 So hopefully she realised you weren't.
Yes, that's me! I never really use it! Maybe I should. I only use fb mostly for animal photos though too!

Minster2012 · 07/03/2021 19:07

@larrythelizard surely if DS is happy pulling the tractor then it's still not you and he gets worn out then it's still a win??

@notyetamumbuttrying I put the other day what my clinic said about the vaccine, if you are high risk then you are ok to go ahead after the first vaccine straight away atm, but if not high risk atm you have to wait the 2 months AFTER the second dose to go ahead

@Sausage1990 that's interesting to think for your cycles I wonder if it's affected mine

@Franklydear ahhhh I see!

@bez91 I'm well pleased with today actually! Spring cleaning but still more to do

@Hopeful110 oooo it does sound like you are ovulating earlier def and you need to get on it just in case 🍆

@Crazydoglady123 ah yes that reading! Twins you say 🤗 & we've contemplated a tractor bed next but maybe diggers too 🙄

@Gem176 most of my friends have kids in their 30s. It's only my best friend who had kids in her 20s.

OP posts:
Crazydoglady123 · 07/03/2021 19:08

@paintfairy I was more "sane" last time I saw her so hopefully she hasn't written me off 🤣 Ah I thought it'd be you. Do you ride western often? The stud I used to work at bought a paint qh x which was western trained and I did a few shows on her and loved it!

paintfairy · 07/03/2021 19:13

@Crazydoglady123 🤣 Ah maybe she'll think you were just having a bad day then!😆
Yeah- that's the only way I ride! Have for 13 years or so now. Its a bit of a small world so I've never advertised the fact on here. Clue is in my username! 😆

paintfairy · 07/03/2021 19:39

@Crazydoglady123 oh and yes DH seems much better thanks! I think he was just having a wobble. Along with a bad week. He apparently dreamt we had twins the night before last! So we could both be getting them! 🤣

I also asked him if he knew what ovulation was. 'When your ovary releases an egg and waits to be fertilised' was the answer. So fairly good. He does listen.

Meanwhile I've cracked my head on the worktop trying to put stuff on the dogs feet (don't ask, he's got allergies) because he was moving round. 🥺 Bought a tear to my eye, I'll tell you!

Gem176 · 07/03/2021 19:52

@Kirky658 I can confirm having your mum living 5 mins round the corner is a god send! Not that I ever had to ask her for help she just kind of had a way of appearing at the right time, suspect it was intentional to appear at dinner time to let me eat while she got cuddles and stayed for bath time to give me a hand lifting the baby bath as my plan was ferrying jugs of water through while I was post op and that would have been a nightmare. I'll really miss her this time round if I'm being perfectly honest. I think SiL will be helpful though and dd is a good age for fetching when half way through a nappy change and you realise you don't have wipes/cream etc to hand 😂
Definitely stick to your guns on a week without visitors, I didn't last time and after my ex's family descended on the hospital I actually started to hate him for A. Telling them to visit and B. Not telling them to bugger off when they had evidently outstayed their welcome. DD was a day old, she was my first and they just scooped her up and passed her round for over an hour. My hormones had me on the verge of committing GBH 🙈

@Minster2012 yep that's it exactly, what is it with strangers always being your biggest critics?? I think age means I've realised now that I truly do not care about being rude to strangers who have no issue being rude to me by butting their noses in. Think I'll be swiftly telling them where to go 💁🏻‍♀️ especially any old bats who tell me a baby NEEDS a hat and mitts even when the baby in question screamed in rage until any hat was removed and her hands were free again 🙈
Maybe the people I know are the odd bunch, keep in touch with a lot of the girls from my year in school and most have already got children. We all turned 30 in 2020, maybe that's what's making me think I'm getting too old to be doing this again and why I thought that 35 was like some kind of cut off and that I absolutely could not have children after that 🤷🏻‍♀️

@paintfairy the brother now has a live in girlfriend, this should keep my mum happy but it won't, she'll find a reason why she's not right for him. She's done it with ALL of the past gfs. This one is apparently too young, she shut up when I pointed out smaller age gap between them than me and my oh (she adores him). Suppose a couple of generations ago by early 20s you could be set with a house and a good job that would provide for a whole family. Now it's taking so much longer to get past student debt, get onto the housing ladder, get to a decent point in your career and even then most households require two wages so no longer an option to have children without having to worry about childcare as mums could stay home until kids were in school.

Kirky658 · 07/03/2021 19:54

@paintfairy lol I'd give anything to get my energy back right now 😅 also a jammy doughnut would be amazing...I was very lucky I've known DH now for 12 years and we were friends before, he moved much closer for work and we went for a meal as friends and then that was us. I was 20 and he was 23. 7 years later here we are ❤️

And bloody hell, I hope you're OK, that sounds really painful!!!
