New thread- apologies for the unimaginative title!

@selina37 they work grand for me I just do them from day 10 and usually get a pos day 11 the odd time day 12 or sometimes stays pos for two days. I am def less obsessing about ttc with more focus on health, exercise, weight loss and a few other things going on. Lots of welcome distractions. I think we have agreed to try until end of this year and if not happened by then will move on with our plan B - new house, dog (s), lots of holidays and a very comfortable life. Our plan A of a baby is much preferred but we do need an end game here as I feel life is too much on hold.

@Loladoodle I'm just over the moon at the moment that I've got to CD24 without spotting. It is UNHEARD of for me! Even when I was on the pill I'd get some breakthrough spotting.

My OH says it would be the icing on the cake to have a baby but we are happy in our home and enjoying our lives together.

Still going to try those Opks though 🤣

@thislittlebird it's really annoying isn't it! I'm sure they do it like that just to make more money out of us 😕

@TTCat39 my app did that too but I ignored it as I'd used the cb digital so I knew when I'd ovulated!

@selina37 I always got breakthrough bleeding on the pill too 😂 are you me?!!! 😅
I know what you mean we are happy with all we have too, so grateful! But ideally would love a baby to add to our family.

I quite like just the cheap opk then it’s only about £10 for 50 of them which lasts me mo tha. I use the app to interpret them but my peak is always fairly obvious thankfully

I’m having another horrible cycle. Started spotting 9dpo then thought I was cd1 at 10dpo as decent foe in the morning yesterday. Then pretty much nothing since!!! Did this last cycle too where I spotted for over a week!!! So annoying! Can’t wait for my referral now

@LT103 I'm not sure if you've seen the past posts (sooo much to get through so maybe not) but I was having lots of spotting until @Loladoodle recommended 50mg per day of vitamin B6! I've taken it this month and I am nothing short of amazed! I've reached 12/13 dpo with barely anything!

@Marvellouslymadmum I seem to get used to AF when it comes now! It's disappointing but I'm grateful for everything else in life right now, it's doesn't seem like a massive pressure like it used to. I'm hoping the 'I don't mind either way' approach will just see us with a happy ending xxx

So I'm looking for your take on this, lovely ladies!

First month ttc and have been using the premom opks and a bit confused that I hadn't seen anything near a surge but chalked it up to having missed it as it's now CD17 and i have been having 28 day cycles.

Yesterday morning I did a premom and also a clear blue digital (first ever one, just as a check). Both were very negative, I got a blank face on the clearblue and a score of like 0.1 on the premom. I didn't bother testing this morning cause I thought that was that. Thought I'd just check this evening cause I've had loads of ewcm the last couple of days and came back with a 0.6 on premom and a static smiley on clearblue. :) So I'm either on the rise or on the comedown of a peak, but say that peak was yesterday afternoon, am I right in thinking that the earliest ovulation would have taken place is this afternoon today? In which case I'm still in with a shot if we do the horizontal shuffle tonight?

@Noodella18 if you got a static smiley that'll be your peak so yes that'll be ov today or tomorrow most likely deffo get dtd

@LT103 I like the cheap opks too... mainly because it’s the only thing I get a definite positive when I poas!!! 😅

The other thing that makes me really annoyed @Marvellouslymadmum is, and I don't know if the app does this, but the gadget tells me I can't re-use sticks. It's such a cheek that they programme it to do that. I inserted it once this morning and then pulled it out again too soon and it was all "you can't re-use that stick!". Erm, I think you'll find I can, and I will. I re-use sticks when one goes wrong too, I'm not wasting them, they're expensive.

I'm having a glass of wine and I'm sure these drugs I'm on are making it taste funny, same thing happened when I tried a glass of gin the other day and I couldn't drink it. I will finish the wine once the lasagne DH is cooking arrives.

@KG1145 congratulations! 🎉 I hope you can relax and just enjoy it now you've got those lovely strong lines, try not to pee on a stick EVERY day!!! 😂

Sorry about the AF ladies that sucks!
I tried CBT years ago as was referred after losing my dad - long story but he was abroad and died suddenly aged 59 and after a month of stress getting him home and then losing his belongings etc I kind of bypassed the grieving for a few months and then crashed. CBT helped me so much I didn't need anything else and it's a life skill, I've used it through other difficult times and been grateful for it. Def try it!

I'm so fed up, after a post coil bleed and then spotting I started to bleed much heavier and have had a couple of heavy days. I'm non the wiser to if it is withdrawal or AF early but I feel shit tired and fed up (which makes me think AF) I feel like a broken record at the minute questioning if it's AF, the not knowing is driving me mad. Plus I just want it to stop so I can start tracking my cycle and figure out what's happening.
Let me ovulate god damn it! 🤣

I just want to get started TTC 🤦🏽‍♀️ I'm so impatient and have a usually high sex drive so 8 days spotting/bleeding has been a nightmare!

On the plus side I had my first Covid vaccine today 🎉

@Lexber sorry to hear about your dad, I really think my oh should try cbt and he's willing to give it a go I just don't know where to start looking for someone. I know the waiting sucks especially when it stops the dtd! Hopefully it'll get sorted soon

Yeah I can just put it back in and tell it to stfu @Marvellouslymadmum. But you know some people will believe it and put a new one in . I am just googling and I think (but not sure) that your CB sticks might be the same as the ones I use. I’m trying to double check becase that would be really handy if they were the same sticks.

@thislittlebird they could well be, they certainly look the same! In boots they're very expensive as they come with the reader too but on eBay if you get some with just a couple of months left n the date all still sealed they're cheaper. I can take a pic of mine if it helps?

Argh, I really don't know when best dtd. My opk showing basically nothing is making me doubt think our dtd days!

6,8,10,12 so far, but was planning 13-14 as well, try 15 and see if he can.. But now thinking maybe need to do 16 too... In which case do we skip 13... Tho ov probably is 14 or 15, in which case 12-14 is better than 12,14-16! 🙄

As long as you're dtd every other day it should be fine @climbershell. Just do evens maybe?

Last cycle did 8, 11-14 (couldn't 9 or 10 coz of SA & tried 15 but I'd run him dry), thought ovulated cd14

Maybe if no ewcm tomorrow and also no proper line on opk will skip then and do 14-16
