@Misty84 it’s very easy to sure so far and it has instructions on how to line it the tests if you put it on automatic and it’s not been done properly. You just click tests at the bottom and it does everything else.

Also twining I had 8 years of crappy relationships/dates and we met on dating app.

@TTCat39 I developed a breakout under my chin a few months ago and it has still not gone, like you I haven’t had anything like this since I was a teenager, it must be something to do with all the vitamins because I really don’t know what else it could be?! Frustrating as allegedly eating healthier and yet this has happened?! They just won’t budge!

@Katiekattty Yay twinning! Wasn’t it just the biggest relief ever?! We’ve been together 2 years now and I still feel overwhelmingly grateful every single day.
Thanks so much for the info on the app, I’ll be downloading it tonight!

Noodella18 · 15/03/2021 18:05

@Katiekattty your scores are so much higher than mine but some of my lines look just as dark?!

Thanks ladies - well I have no idea no as bleeding again!! FML sorry I couldn't remember who tagged me, I'm rubbish xx

I will wait until I have stopped bleeding again and start again just to track. But DTD as we usually do (quite regular)

I was in a great cycle before and on the coil. I will just let my body do it's thing and wait and see. And use this opportunity to do some work in the garden ready for summer and enjoy the hot tub while I can as I'm pretty sure it's a no go once pregnant? Xx

Marvellouslymadmum · 15/03/2021 18:43

@M4v3r1ck @TTCat39 @Misty84
Thank you, I never really thought of it as a special story but your guys reaction has made me look at it a different way so thank you ☺️

@Misty84 @Kitekat81
omg how did you cope with 8 years?!! I was on the app for about 8 months before I met him, that was definitely enough for me 😂 and that's right with pineapple a few days before ovulation. I'll be buying mine in the shopping at the end of the week ready for next week lol I've attached what I found on dr google lol

@TTCat39 I don't know if the vitamin honeymoon isn't a thing but i suffered this month too and don't normally!

@Noodella18 I have the Femometer app which also does the same thing and I had the same kind of issues, they were all read low apart from two high but it's not easy to tell that's why I changed over to Cbda easy to read and fmu!

@Marvellouslymadmum Thank you so much for the pineapple info!!! ❤️
As for 8 years...haha similar to this, no choice! Wasn’t happening so had to keep going!
Pinch myself that I’ve got him though and wish this part of our journey could’ve been a little easier but c’est la vie...I just pray it happens eventually!

Fredsmama · 15/03/2021 18:57

Hi girls, sry I know I’m more of a lurker but I got a BFP on the 3rd March. Slight amount of cramping before and after BFP (I used about 5 sticks all quite faint but a positive CB digital) but nothing out of ordinary until a week later when I started to bleed. I thk it’s called a chemical pregnancy? Anyway needless to say was bummed but thankful for my son and I know it was early but my bloody hormones made me a bit gurney I thk. My DH doesn’t really get it. Anyway I’m rambling...just looking to bounce of other ladies who have had a chemical. Was yours similar to a heavy period? Just I’m day 6 now and still bleeding not heavy now but just not normal for me. Thanks in advance xx ttc is zero craic xx

Marvellouslymadmum · 15/03/2021 19:10

@Misty84 you're very welcome! I definitely don't think I could've stuck it for 8 years! I have a friend (the one that got me to join) who's been on there about 15 years and she's still single, but she's very fussy over everything lol
Same for us, we've both got children from previous relationships so we are lucky in that respect but it kind of makes it seem very unfair we've had no luck together yet as we know everything was working at some point! And we would so love a little one to bond everyone together

@Fredsmama so sorry to hear this, it's so disappointing when you think you might be there then it's cruelly snatched away again! That definitely sounds like a cp I've had two that I know of and two mc, hope you feel better soon

Katiekattty · 15/03/2021 19:14

@Misty84 I feel the same, I feel like I just got so lucky after years and years. I’m so glad I met home before covid.

@Noodella18 I have no idea. I hope this app isn’t messing with me. I was thinking of getting the CB ones coming up to peak.

Fredsmama · 15/03/2021 19:48

@Marvellouslymadmum thank you for getting back to me. I know it was early and we have only been trying a few months so trying not to be too down about it but yes felt very ‘smug’ for a whole week and then spent wknd in a right stinker of a mood. OH didn’t know what to do with me x just wish bleed would stop so we can get back on the wagon so to speak x

M4v3r1ck · 15/03/2021 19:52

So lovely hearing all your success stories! 😍

@TTCat39 it was me who was successful after 5 months (although it was cycle #6), but sadly wasn't meant to be as I ended up with a MMC! Hopefully I'll be successful again soon with a healthy BFP this time, and you too! 😍🤞🏻 Keep us posted on how you get on with the GP!

@Misty84 don't worry, You're not alone! I have four apps! 🙃🙃🙃

@Lexber it's so hard waiting for your cycles to regulate, but it will happen soon! 😃

@Marvellouslymadmum awww I'm glad! It really is a fab story! 😍

@Fredsmama I'm sorry to hear about your CP! This is what this group is here for! I can't advise on a CP I'm afraid! Sending you much love! 😘

02Carol · 15/03/2021 19:52

@MarvelouslyMadmum

Thank you for posting the 🍍 info, @Misty84, I'm not an experienced pineapple eater, I'd seen it mentioned on chats and thought, why not try it this month. 😋

Not sure if anyone has had something similar, last cycle I used the CB ovulation kit, I had 10 days of high fertility/flashing then my static peak.
This cycle started testing yesterday got a O low, and this morning got a peak, static!
Has anyone else such a different surge?

Magnum99 · 15/03/2021 19:59

I'm going for an ultrasound scan on Wednesday which is to check my ovaries and uterus after having abnormal bleeding last cycle.

I'll be 9 DPO, do you think there's any chance they'd be able to spot any signs of pregnancy? I know they wouldn't be able to see a foetus but would there be any other signs they might spot?
I'm guessing not, but thought I'd ask the question here before I make a fool of myself asking the sonographer 🙈

selina37 · 15/03/2021 20:29

Gosh this is so fast moving!

I love a good romance! I honestly didn't think such a thing existed until I met my partner, as my last relationship from the age of 18 was just rubbish! 😂 Now I know what it is to be texted every day, kissed goodnight every night and told 'I love you' multiple times a day! I honestly never believed couples actually danced on their own in kitchens!! 🤣

@Loladoodle my Luteal P has been a revelation since the B6!! No moodiness or anxiety and spotting has stayed away, though I suspect I may see some in the next few days before the week's out - it would be unheard of for me to have no spotting whatsoever!!

Fredsmama · 15/03/2021 20:39

Thank you @M4v3r1ck sry to hear about your MMC though you have a good attitude and it’s positive that you conceived after 5 cycles. That’s very quick.
Fingers crossed for your BFP this cycle xx
@Magnum99 I thk it would be too early, I thk they can only see on transvaginal from 6wks. I only know this as last tues I had a scan as I had been having some pains following a previous c section. I got the referral in Oct but only got a date to go last wk but I told the sonographer that I had a positive test and that I was approx 5 wks pregnant and she said it was too early to see on an abdominal scan but that I did have a ‘thickened endometrial lining’ which was in keeping with being in early stages of pregnancy or in the second half of your cycle. She measured it for me, she was really helpful, and said you would only be able to see with internal scan from 6 wks ! Good luck with your scan, hope all goes well x

Pamparam · 15/03/2021 20:47

I’m no doctor (apart from my honourary MD from google) but you possibly might not even have implanted at 9dpo so they probably can’t see anything. Don’t quote me on it!

Pamparam · 15/03/2021 20:48

@Magnum99 ☝️

Fredsmama · 15/03/2021 20:49

@Magnum99 didn’t realise you thk you had a CP last month too. How long did your bleed last? I got a positive test on day of missed period then took period exactly a week later but it stopped on sat and then took off again today 🤷🏼‍♀️

Marvellouslymadmum · 15/03/2021 20:58

@Fredsmama it's horrible but yes I know how you feel wanting to get moving to the next cycle, my oh is exactly the same tries to be a bit comforting but ultimately doesn't really know what to do!

@02Carol happy to help! I've not had that on the cb though I've only used them one month so far and had 6 days of flashing before my static

@Magnum99 I don't think they would be able to see much, when I got a bfp four years ago I had an early scan at what we thought was 6.5 weeks, they said it was more likely about 5 weeks as they could see a sac but not a heartbeat yet, the pregnancy unfortunately ended in mc at 7.5 weeks just before I was due another scan but you could definitely mention it anyway!

Magnum99 · 15/03/2021 21:01

@Fredsmama yeh I thought that may be the case.

Although I was once scanned and told I was told I was 5+3, they could see something but no heartbeat (which is normal at that stage), but I should have been 7+ weeks, but then I miscarried that evening. My point being is I think they sometimes can see something before 6 weeks but maybe don't want to get hopes up and leave expectant mums worried.

Fredsmama · 15/03/2021 21:03

@Magnum99 this is very true. Prob don’t want to commit or be the one to give bad news xx good luck for tomo and hope scan is clear for you xx

Magnum99 · 15/03/2021 21:05

@Marvellouslymadmum just crossed posts, yes almost the same happened to me a few years ago.

Marvellouslymadmum · 15/03/2021 21:12

@Magnum99 yes that makes sense then!

Magnum99 · 15/03/2021 21:21

@Fredsmama I'm not 100% it was a CP, I did 2 tests which had the faintest lines, DH thinks I was seeing things. Could have been evap/indentation lines. But I was 3 days late (never ever late) and felt pregnant.

I seemed to have a pretty normal AF for 6-7 days which seemed to come to an end and then it started again like a fresh AF which lasted about another 5 days. So bled for 11-12 days in total. I was still bleeding a little bit when I was supposed to be coming in to my fertile phase, so god knows what will happen this cycle.

But apparently you're more fertile after a CP so fingers crossed for us this month 🤞🏻

Strangely I'm actually feeling more laid back about it this month, last month I was totally convinced I was pregnant and had every symptom going but for whatever reason I wasn't. So this month I'm trying not to symptom spot and I am 100% not testing until AF is officially late. I dread to think how much I spent on tests last month! 🤦🏻‍♀️

KG1145 · 15/03/2021 21:39
@KG1145 glad your line is getting darker 🤞🏻 for you, af has arrived for me today so on to the next month for me!

I didn't add anything before about my partner and how we got together so here's us - we had both been married for 12 years in horrible relationships then finally separated and got bored sitting home in the evenings with the kids so on a whim joined pof to chat to people. We found each other (and some right old weirdos!) and started chatting, spoke for 6 months every day but hadn't met yet, then one night I went to a gig for a small band I liked and sent him a pic of me and my friend there - it was his cousins band! He came down to the pub we were in and we knew straight away. The rest is history really, moved in together after 10 months and it's now been just over 5 years - good old online dating lol
@Marvellouslymadmum what a lovely story of how you both met! :D Fingers crossed for you this month!

As for us, I'd come out of a long relationship/short marriage that didn't end well and had just sworn off men after a series of disasterous first dates. My partner and I met through a joint friend from Norway who was crashing on my sofa for a few nights. We hit it off immediately, had moved in together within six months and well the rest is history!
