Clearblue fertility monitor

Has anyone used the Clearblue fertility monitor?

How is it better than using normal Clearblue advanced digital ovulation tests?

The monitor is very expensive but I’m willing to pay it if it’s more likely to work as opposed to the normal Clearblue ovulation tests (which have the flashing and then static smiley faces).

Thanks in advance x

Hi@TTC94, I bought one second hand with a pack of tests on eBay. It’s my second month of using it and it is easy, I don’t know how it differs from the other CB OPKs people use, not sure if they’re the same sticks or not?

The benefits for me are it flashes at me for ten mornings reminding me to test (and sometimes I still forget, but there is an alarm you can set), it has picked up my LH surge when non-CB OPKs did not, and it saves me interpreting the sticks myself I suppose. Oh and it’s fmu, but I’m sure the other ones are too.

You probably don’t need it but not having used the regular ones I can’t say how they differ so I might not be of the most use. Have you been using those to date?

@thislittlebird

The sticks for the monitor are different to usual Clearblue sticks used when testing for ovulation.

I have been using the Clearblue ovulation sticks to date and I’ve found them quite easy and helpful. I then switched to some cheap ones and I’m finding them a nightmare!

I’d been TTC for 8 months, got pregnant and then almost immediately had a miscarriage so I feel somewhat desperate now! Willing to spend whatever if it increases my chances!

I’m not sure if the likelihood of increasing my chances would be much or anything at all though.

I hadn’t thought of buying off eBay.

I’ll have a look! Thank you x

Yeah, I really did not get on with the cheap ones. Fingers crossed you get a good price and it works for you, good luck! @TTC94
