ClearBlue OPKs high then low?

Hi everyone.

This is my second month TTC and third month using ClearBlue OPKS. Last month I had 9 flashing days as the app told me to use them on cd6 and I used them until I got a peak at CD15 And I ovulated CD17(also temping)

I started using them CD8 and had a high fertility in CD8-11. I missed 2 days as I ran out of them. I'm now CD13 and it low? Does anyone know why that would be? I haven't ovulated yet according to my temp chart. Thanks!

Did you continue using the same holder when you bought new sticks? If so, you may have missed your peak. But depending how accurate your charting is- might be worth getting some cheap OPK to watch out for peak just in case. If you've started on a new holder then it always starts with low fertility as it thinks that's your baseline.

No it's a different holder. I ovulated CD17 last month so I don't think I'm at peak yet. My cycles are 28-30 days. I usually get a lot of EWCM too and don't have much yet. I did another one half an hour ago with the new holder and it just changed to peak? From low this morning? I think I'll run out and get some cheap OPKS just to keep an eye out. This is my temp chart.

Ah that'll be it then. You have to keep the same holder through each cycle or you lose the data it's already collected. Basically the new holder didn't know where it was starting from. New holders always show low on the first use I think. It's v annoying as you could use the same holder for ages but you can't just buy separate sticks- I think that's what might confuse people. Hope you can identify peak- sounds like might be worth just BD anyway!

@Rmd123 that looks high to me. The line should be Raquel to or darker than the control line. So defo there or very very close.

Thanks everyone for the reassurance. I popped a new stick into an old tester(I know you're not supposed to) but it came up peak too so hopefully will ovulate!
