Hey everyone! Thought I would start a March 2021 TTC bus. I'm TTC for first baby, cycle #8, CD12 hopping off from Feb 2021 bus. Wishing lots of baby dust and BFPs to all! Xx

Hey all. I hope you don't mind me sticking around here? I still don't feel like my pregnancy is confirmed while I'm in my "new" 2WW for the scan.

@bubblegeek22 thanks for your lovely message. I haven't got any symptoms at all unfortunately... Literally nothing. So that's not helping with the worry. I should be somewhere between 7+1 and 7+6 at the next scan. It feels forever away.

@melissa112 I hope your DS has a lovely birthday! It’s a good distraction in the TWW as well. I was worried about a lockdown birthday but my little boy was so excited all day!
My periods are usually 4/5 days and fairly heavy (sorry if tmi!) but this one has been something of noting really, very light and only 3 days. Not sure if that means I didn’t ovulate or something?
Think I’ll start OPKs from day 7 and see what happens

@melissa112 I was using the cheapy ovulation tests off of eBay but today I ended up buying the clear blue fertility monitor! I can’t start using it till next month so I’ll see how I get on with it. I can use it to take pregnancy tests on too which I’m excited about lol. I think my OH is happy that I have others to talk about this with too. Have you been trying long? Xx

Hey ladies. Fingers crossed for everyone. I'm cd3. Ovulation window is from tomorrow according to my app. Was just gonna ask if any want knew, is it possible to have a peak smiley face and also have this strip say positive but you dont ovulate? Read that it's best to do a 21 day progesterone blood test to check you actually ovulate. Dont understand. Does anyone? Thanks

@gracie2307 I'm exactly the same as you, ttc for #1 and just started cycle #8. Currently CD3. Is your birthday 23rd July by any chance?

Hey @melissa112 I'm not taking any more vitamins anymore apart from sevenseas I was on wellwoman for ages but I didn't feel it was making any difference compared to the sevenseas so just on that now! Ooh Brazil nuts need to try those. Avocado and foods like oily fish are good for implantation apparently too xx

Hey @Lizbb I have wondered that too you can get LH surge but no ovulation but I think as long as your periods are regular and you get high/peak readings on lh test there is a good chance you probably are. I did do an LH test from medichecks day 21 blood test at home not very expensive and I got 49.5 on the test. Anything about 20 is considered as ovulating I hope that helps? Xx

Mines 22nd July 🥳 I'm not overly trying this month as I don't want a December baby 🙈 it's nice to not obsess for a change. I like following everyone's journeys though

@Lizbb The normal for the progesterone blood test is to take it on day 21 of your cycle (based on a typical 28 day cycle or less) but I have longer cycles (avg 30 day) so I did mine on day 23 and got a good reading so if yours are longer I would say try day 23 to 24 xx

Hi everyone! I'm new to all this, just started ttc #1 after having implant out at the start of Feb. I've had a period since then and currently hoping my cycle has returned to normal for this to be the first proper cycle that we try! Fingers crossed for everyone. I'm not feeling very confident as have read not many couples conceive on the first try! Wanted to join your chat as I think my boyfriend is a bit sick of me talking periods and ovulation already!

Yayy to us July babies @DNpink82 Ooh gosh yes it would be December birthdays didn't think about that 🙈 I have more of an aversion to January for some reason lol I think it's because I have met a few Capricorns I didn't get on with 🤭🤣 when are you due your O day? Xx

@gracie2307 I don't want a January baby either but we're not being careful and what will be will be 🙈 I'm only on CD3 so another 10 days until O day. I have quite short cycles usually about 25 days but anywhere between 23-28 days. I'm going to wait until this cycle is over then go to the GP because I'm 39 this year so haven't got lots of time to waste 😬

@DNpink82 I know exactly how you feel. I nearly bought DH as a surprise a 2021 Baby Vest as a future present announcement to him in the hope it wouldn't take us too long but thank god I didn't I just stuck to a I Heart Daddy one which has been squirreled away 🤣 Ahh I see that is fairly short, are you taking any vitamins to help things? I have the opposite where I get long cycles (min 29 max 36 average 30). That's probably a good idea at least get your 21 day blood test and sperm analysis done to check things are all ok👍 xx

@gracie2307 I just take my usual vits which are b12, vit D, vit C, cod liver oil and have added folic acids. It's so hard not to buy stuff but I don't want to jinx anything. I don't even know if I'm ovulating properly as had my implant out 8 months ago after 10 years and have never seen a strong positive OPK, my AF only lasts 2 days as well. I said I'd give it 9 months then check in with GP so that'll be my next step 👍🏼

@gracie2307 thank you! This is baby number 1, been wanting to try for a long time but it's not been the right time work wise until now! I had hoped to be all chilled about it and just see what happens but I can already feel myself getting swept up in day counting and symptom spotting haha.

I am 9 DPO today...ideally didnt want a november baby, as we already have a november, december and january baby...
But didnt want to put off trying so trying anyway

Hello everyone! I'm new here. Myself and DH are TTC #1. We are on second cycle since I stopped my pill. I'm taking folic acid since January. I started the clearblue ovulation strips this month and after three lows, I got a Hugh fertility smiley today at the same time as EWCM so feeling its probably fairly accurate. Myself and DH did BD tonight and aiming to DTD for next two nights as normally every second night. Just have to hope then 😊
