@DreadedTWW I am so sorry, what an awful shock after the initial good news you had... I hope that you’re able to just relax this month and maybe have a big glass of wine this weekend. Sending baby dust for you next month x

Hi again, just putting this on here so I can voice it all. I posted on here the other day saying I had a miscarriage in February at 6 weeks. I havent had a period since then but felt ready to try again. The nurse at epu said i didnt need to wait as my pcos gives me irregular cycles anyway. I tested on Tuesday cd13 and had a faint positive, planning to test again on Saturday. Feeling worried this will end in miscarriage again. I haven't slept much tonight. But i also feel so guilty for feeling that way when i know how incredibly lucky it is to catch two cycles in a row especially with pcos.

Sorry for long essay! sending baby dust to everyone, wish this was easier.

frols · 25/03/2021 05:43

I finally got my positive ovulation test yesterday, usually I have one day of positivea before they go down again, tested today and still positive, does this mean I haven't ovulated yet? X

Hi ladies! I have often found the answers that I am looking for on here! This is my first post ttc 11 years 😢 so now I am 47 (old I know! But ever hopeful)
Doctors won’t even look at me anymore if I want to discuss my fertility (infertility). I do have an older child and I have had 5 more pregnancies all unsuccessful.
So... as you can imagine I have done extensive research over the years!! My LP has been 10 days ever since I can remember. January this year I started vitex and this month I have been using progesterone cream (internally) since 2dpo. So today I am 12 dpo which I have never seen before (woohoo! Can’t believe it!) but bfn of course.
My question is this, shall I stop using the progesterone cream today or will my period just start when it’s ready?
All advice gratefully received! Xx

sylvie1001 · 25/03/2021 09:47

@DreadedTWW so sorry to hear this Sad I’m due AF today and fully expecting it...migraines and my usual heavy feeling have been there the last two days plus and very firm BFN at 12dpo. Our time will come x

Secondtimelucky74 · 25/03/2021 11:34

@dreadedTWW good luck! Trying hard to stay positive!!! Xx

Somatronic · 25/03/2021 11:47

@frols best of luck to you!

Just wanted to check in. I've been staying away from here as I'm trying not to obsess this month!

I have been having the most horrendous migraines for the past week. AF is due on Saturday. I often get migraines but this is ridiculous - I've had to take my migraine tablet 7 days out of the last 9 whereas usually I'd only need a few a month. I also had mild nausea which is probably related to the migraines. It went away when I ate which is usual for my migraine nausea.

I think it might be the Clomid doing it which makes me wonder if this will be my last month on it as I'm exhausted and headachy constantly now. Last month I had maybe 2 or 3 days like this which was my first month taking Clomid.

I am not going to test this month I'll just wait until AF comes so nearly there now!

millionairesshortbread4 · 25/03/2021 11:55

Thank you for all the lovely messages ladies 😊
AF arrived in full force today right on time.
As we've been TTC for 1 year we got the ball rolling with tests etc with Dr. Unfortunately in our area the NHS fertility clinic aren't taking new appointments due to Covid. The private clinic is open so we agreed if my AF showed today we'd book in with them.
Never a position I thought I'd be in 😔

Thinking of everyone else who the witch got this month. It's good to know other people are feeling like you are ❤️

DreadedTWW · 25/03/2021 12:13

@sylvie1001 thank you lovely. I am sorry to hear about your BFN and expected arrival of AF. I am due AF tomo but I suspect that she will arrive today as I am having such painful cramping :( like you said, our time will come ♥️ Xx

DreadedTWW · 25/03/2021 12:15

@Secondtimelucky74 thank you lovely. Good luck to you too xx

Hi all,

I’ve been following these forums but haven’t commented before - my husband and I have been ttc for over 10 months now for baby number 1 were 30 and 33 years old - I recently took the plunge and just contacted the gp who referred me for some blood tests and today I was told that I’ve been booked in to discuss the results. I called to try and get more info and was told ‘most’ of the tests are normal but doctor will discuss in more detail with you at the appointment but it is a routine and not urgent appointment. The appt is 3 weeks away and they won’t give me an earlier one because of availability and now I’m fretting and worrying hard! I’ve got it in my head that even if it’s non urgent that prob means it’s not life threatening health wise but that there’s some thing clearly wrong fertility wise! I’m so frustrated and emotional and don’t know who to talk to - anyone gone through anything similar, any words of wisdom or advice to get through the next few weeks? Thank you!

Secondtimelucky74 · 25/03/2021 17:50

I feel your pain!!! I always ask my gp to email me the full results from all my blood tests and then visit doctor Google Smile

MiniBaker · 26/03/2021 06:40

Hi @MFHRC I was told that most of them were normal by the receptionist and actually it was just that I had very slightly low Vitamin D which just needed over the counter supplement - yours may be similar x Can you not ask for a print out summary ‘for your records’? they are quite easy to interpret x

LeonorN · 26/03/2021 07:43
@LeonorN congrats on the BFP! I'm 42 and got a recent BFP after 2 chemicals the last 2 months so am similar timing to you! Really hoping they stick!
Oh we’re very closely timed! Do keep me posted. Best wishes

amyannx · 26/03/2021 08:38

Hey, does anyone know if it's normal to have 3 days of positive ovulation tests? They are slowly going down by the reading on my app but still strong positives? Thanks x

March 2021 TTC Bus!
yepstilltrying · 26/03/2021 09:44

@MiniBaker sorry for the delay! That's great you're getting started. When I had blood tests and scans they didn't find anything wrong and my husband's sperm was fine. I just wasn't getting pregnant. We went straight to IVF. They suggest what they think is the best route for you. We had a monitoring cycle where they take a couple of blood samples and do two scans during the cycle and then started straight after. They did want various other tests like HIV. You can get them done in the NHS and send them the results but we just got it all done through them as knew it would be quicker.

SarahMumof1DS · 26/03/2021 09:45

Thank you @MiniBaker for the link. I'm so out of of touch after taking time out from TTC.
I hope everyone is doing ok xx

I really wanted to update you all on my recent events and hope it might be of some help...

So after time out from TTC last year, DH and I decided in January that we would stop using contraception again and see what happened. Decided on a no stress strategy. I didn't track temps and just lightly took note of CM changes and had sex when we felt like it. January we had no luck and I had very heavy period with clots. February no luck either and had no idea when I ovulated. So this March cycle decided to temp but no stress approach still, only DTD a few times and again couldn't pinpoint ov so just hoped for the best.

So the last few days I've been feeling like AF is on her way and I prepared myself for that. Then yesterday I started getting heart palpitations and ended up calling 111 and advised to go to a&e. Soon after the call I thought maybe I should do a test so I did a cheapie and couldn't see a line. I left it in the bathroom and went downstairs. Then needed to pee again soon after so went back up for wee and checked the stick again and saw a very faint line! A couple of hours later I did another cheapie and got a stronger but still faint line. I ended up spending most of the night in a&e getting my heart checked out but they couldn't find anything. I still have heart palpitations now but I'm starting to feel it's because I'm pregnant (anyone else experienced this?). Gona do a first response today but bloody forgot to do fmu 🙄.

I wanted to share my events as I know stress played a big part in last year's unsuccessful attempts, I was so focused on TTC, I just feel like after I took a break and calmed down in my brain, my body has reacted positively to it. Also this cycles temps seemed low in my "luteal" phase to normal and didn't have much hope this month but it's happened. Obviously early days and hopefully it's a sticky bean, but I hope it helps some of you in some small way. Love to you all and wishing you all the best of luck and baby dust! ✨❤️ xxx
