Hey everyone! Thought I would start a March 2021 TTC bus. I'm TTC for first baby, cycle #8, CD12 hopping off from Feb 2021 bus. Wishing lots of baby dust and BFPs to all! Xx

@Aims1991 so so normal to ovulate at different times of the month. I did in my most recent cycles that's why OPKs are great and looking for changes in your body xx

ShonC · 23/03/2021 22:15

@Mum2Girls19 this is what I found on the clear blue website about when to DTD xx

@KM11 I can see the test line is getting darker. Your positive is on the way. Keep testing and look for a sharp increase. As I know, when the highest reading appears and then goes down, the peak will be marked and the app will adjust the ovulation day.

steffiforbesttc2107 · 24/03/2021 09:16

Hiya ladies, so glad to find an active forum for TTC! I'd love to jump on this bus! It's my first round of clomid and I'm currently on CD14 waiting for positive OPKs.. do any of mine look near ovulation??

My cycle is usually 41 days and clomid is meant to bring ovulation forward! So I'm hoping in the next couple days??

Dogmum13 · 24/03/2021 13:06

@amyannx those tests aren't supposed to be used with fmu so maybe that could be causing you to get inaccurate readings?

amyannx · 24/03/2021 13:12

@Dogmum13 I only use them if I have spare for fun, I test twice a day in the late morning and afternoon usually, think I have a positive today my line is the same colour as the control line x

dunkedbiscuit · 24/03/2021 13:12

Sorry to hear that @MiniBaker and @millionairesshortbread4 I’m out too this month, got a BFN yesterday and now AF is here in full force 😞

@DreadedTWW I’m so sorry the lines aren’t progressing, gutted for you lovely ❤️

Good luck to everyone still in this month! Who’s testing this week? Hope we get some more BFP’s x

Dogmum13 · 24/03/2021 13:17

@amyannx ahh ok I think your supposed to use them between 12pm-6pm and twice a day near ovulation to pick it up. I always find it easy to pick mine up and then I moved onto the clearblue Bluetooth ones. Not that any of it is helping I'm still ttc lol

amyannx · 24/03/2021 13:20

@Dogmum13 yeah I usually use them around 11ish and 3-4pm and it seems to be working, I use the pre mom app so it reads my test for me otherwise I would find it more stressful knowing how close to peak I am, hoping this afternoon the line is darker than the control line but this morning one was the same colour as the control line x

Dogmum13 · 24/03/2021 13:25

@amyannx yeah I used that app too it's so handy. How long have you been ttc?

amyannx · 24/03/2021 13:28

@Dogmum13 it's all new so me! With my ds i stopped the pill in January and fell pregnant end of March/early April, but didn't use apps or opk test, this time around I've stopped the pill in January too so 2 cycles ttc x

DreadedTWW · 24/03/2021 13:42

@dunkedbiscuit thank you my lovely, been confirmed by the docs today that it was a chemical. Feel so gutted 😞. They said to wait a month before trying again xx

amyannx · 24/03/2021 13:43

@DreadedTWW so sorry to hear this x

DreadedTWW · 24/03/2021 13:46

@amyannx thank you lovely xx

MiniBaker · 24/03/2021 13:49

@dunkedbiscuit so gutting every month when AF arrives!

It’s hard to stay positive and only way I cope is by doing something productive ahead of the next cycle to try to feel like I’m taking some kind of control 😂
Today I’ve booked in to go to a fertility clinic and have pelvic ultrasound and AMH blood test - at 12 cycles down I’m thinking about our next steps - has anyone had IVF and know the journey to get their privately?

yepstilltrying · 24/03/2021 15:43

@MiniBaker I've done quite a few IVFs. I did two cycles on the NHS and then went private. I looked at a few clinics but really you just book an initial appointment with them and then get started with blood tests / scans etc. I found it to be really efficient privately (paying for it so obviously it should be!). I'm happy to answer any questions on it.

yepstilltrying · 24/03/2021 15:47

@DreadedTWW sorry to hear it was a chemical :-(

MrsB902 · 24/03/2021 16:45

Hi everyone!

This is my first ever time posting but just wanted to join for a bit of support really, my husband and I have been trying to conceive for 9 months now with no luck :( I’m 31, he’s 32 and we had a chemical pregnancy over Christmas then nothing since.

I don’t really want to speak to any of my friends or family about it as we want to keep it a secret until we have fallen pregnant and know everything is ok so have been looking for ways to get in touch with mamas to be in a similar position and stumbled across this thread!

So sorry to hear about the rest of you who are feeling disheartened or have suffered losses in your journeys so far.

Also sorry for the essay Wink. Looking forward to chatting with you all more.

dunkedbiscuit · 24/03/2021 17:08

Hi and welcome @MrsB902 it can be such a lonely journey can’t it, I find these threads such a great place for support 😊

MiniBaker · 24/03/2021 17:36

@yepstilltrying ahh I see, it’s great to be able to ask someone who has been through the process. I’m booked in for my first scans and blood tests next week which was faster than I was expecting. So I’m glad about that. I feel hopeful but I know really we’re only at the start of another emotional journey I’m sure. I’m just wondering what to expect after the results if they find out nothing obvious is wrong? Do you have to have IUI first to qualify for IVF? How long do you have to wait before you start IVF? Do you need to provide any other test results to them? I mentioned to my mum and she said she heard you needed up-to-day smear test results and also chlamydia test and high vaginal swab test.. is this true?

Sorry for all the questions! Xx

DreadedTWW · 24/03/2021 17:53

@yepstilltrying thank you lovely. Best of luck to you xx

MiniBaker · 24/03/2021 18:10

Welcome @MrsB902 it’s such a great place to get advice and support here. It’s a hard point 9 months as you start to worry, it definitely felt a turning point for me, but it’s reassuring to hear on here success stories from women who conceive further down the line and that the journey is not so smooth for so many people, so you are not alone ❤️

Mum2Girls19 · 24/03/2021 18:31

Hi all

Hope everyone is well..

Looks like I peaked last night but still showing high opk readings today??
Do I record them as positive too
I also got woken early because of our fire alarm so my temp this morning was inaccurate

Premom says ovulation is today
Fertility Friend hasnt said anything yet

Should I continue to BD? and how will this affect my temps with this mornings being early?
Does ovulation show after 3 highs?

Twochews78 · 24/03/2021 18:46

So sorry to hear that @DreadedTWW! xx

DreadedTWW · 24/03/2021 18:56

@Twochews78 thank you lovely xx
