Hey everyone! Thought I would start a March 2021 TTC bus. I'm TTC for first baby, cycle #8, CD12 hopping off from Feb 2021 bus. Wishing lots of baby dust and BFPs to all! Xx

@TeeBee89 Oh it sounds great! It’s a good feeling isn’t it? Thank you, I hope so too! 🤞🏻

Yeah it’s probably best that you don’t have any FRERs as you might be tempted to test 🙊 and it can get expensive! Xx

Lizbb · 12/03/2021 06:49

@Farfaraway1 fingers cross for you babe and everyone else. Yea hard when you spend so much on something but is worth it. This is my first month doing bbt. Wanted to make sure I ovulated after a mc in jan. I use easy@home, cb and bbt which helps to understand my body. Thank God I've ovulated so just 5dpo and waiting patiently 😄

Cuddles21 · 12/03/2021 06:56

Welcome Farfaraway1 😊

This is a strange question but can you have mad dreams after conceiving? I'm 7DPO so in 2ww but I've had about 4 nights this week where my dreams have been crazy and that's not normal for me to dream that much and some are nightmares really 😳
Just wondered if it was a thing.

dunkedbiscuit · 12/03/2021 07:38

@Cuddles21 yes definitely! When I was pregnant with my first the only real symptom I had was really really vivid dreams! Hoping this means the same for you!

Mrsmujic · 12/03/2021 07:42

Day 6 of flashing smiley for me... All my apps say it should have been OD Wednesday. Hurry up static smiley!! 😐

Confused678866 · 12/03/2021 08:12

@Cuddles21 Yes! I had very vivid dreams with my first baby... all I dreamt about were dinosaurs for a couple of weeks 👀😂

Confused678866 · 12/03/2021 08:13

@Farfaraway1 Hey! Good luck in trying to conceive baby number 3! I’m in my third cycle of trying for baby number 2! Xx

Farfaraway1 · 12/03/2021 09:33

Thanks @Cuddles21 and @Confused678866 👋 ☺️

Yes vivid dreams are a good sign, and I got night sweats quite early on in my previous pregnancies which was a tell tale sign for me!

Confused678866 · 12/03/2021 09:39

Random one ladies, and a little TMI but have any of you experienced diarrhoea after possible conception!? I’ve been having it a few times each morning for the last 3 days. I don’t think it’s anything I’ve eaten, I don’t feel poorly etc and my partner has eaten exactly the same as me and he’s fine! I think I had it in my first pregnancy early on but I can’t quite remember as I didn’t know I was pregnant until about 6/7 weeks! Xx

Mrsmujic · 12/03/2021 10:01

@Cuddles21@Confused678866@dunkedbiscuit I never knew vivid dreams are a thing when it comes to pregnancy. My dreams are always SO vidid and sometimes pretty frightening, don't even wanna think what my dreams could be like if I ever get a BFP! 😂😂 Hopefully it's a good sign for you though, sounds like it might be 🤞x

Dobcaty · 12/03/2021 10:10

Hi ladies, I hope it’s not a problem if I jump on this thread too, as I don’t have anyone to talk about my fears and journey.

it’s been more than two years that we are ttc #1, no luck. I’m 35, 28 days clockwork cycle and we had all tests in the fertility clinic, everything looks normal so we are on our wait of 3 months to get our first consultation appointment, obviously ttc in the meantime. I had HyCoSy last month on the day of my ovulation, so was sure nothing can happen. This month I ovulated on 10th of the cycle, I had 5 days spotting (4dpo - 8dpo) which I never had before and yesterday (9DPO) I tested with CB early and got a vv faint line. Obviously I know its way too early but literally I can’t help on myself. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Today morning I tested again and the test came back with faint but vvvvvv faint. I know I have to wait until next week to get a certain result (either) but do you think it can be really positive? I just don’t want to get my hopes up then 💔

Confused678866 · 12/03/2021 10:17

@Dobcaty Hey! Without getting your hopes up, false positives isn’t really something I’m aware of. All I can say really is maybe keep testing with early tests? I know it’s expensive but maybe it would help you if you could keep testing each day. People have had faint positives at 9DPO from things I’ve read recently. Do you have a photo of your tests that you could share and maybe we could give you some feedback?
With the spotting, what colour was it? Xx

SF543 · 12/03/2021 10:22

Hey ladies, I posted yesterday and no one replied!:( I need some help.. cycle 6 TTC baby no1. I have been using OPK the past few days to track my ovulation, and last night I was so close to a positive result and this morning it was faint. Is there a chance my peak was during the night? I'm worried incase I didn't peak. Has anyone experienced this at all xx

Confused678866 · 12/03/2021 10:47

@SF543 Hey! Sorry we missed your message.
I’ve only been using OPK’s for this cycle (currently in the TWW now). I was using the One Step strips but I found them quite challenging to interpret the line or not so for this reason, I switched to clear blue (the pink one) instead as you just either get a blank circle or a smiley face so it’s much easier to read. I appreciate that doesn’t help you right now but it may be worth looking at next month (if you have to).
It could be that your peak was during the night but this would mean that ovulation could be happening right now? I could be wrong as this is all quite new to me too.
Are you measuring temperature at all? (It’s not something that I’m doing but I know lots of ladies on here are and it’s a more certain way of knowing ovulation has happened). Xx

amyannx · 12/03/2021 11:07

Hi is anyone able to help me too, I posted yesterday but haven't got a reply:

(Same has happened with tests today too)

I'm currently on cycle day 4, I have started using opk since yesterday to make sure I catch my surge as I've only been off the pill a few months so not sure on my cycle pattern yet! Last month I used one step test and always had a faint line from when I tested which then went on to get a positive on day 17, this month I ordered more one step and the easy home test, I haven't been getting two lines on the one step only the easy home, I notice my test last month from one step said 'mark' at the bottom and the ones i got through this time from amazon say 'max' could they be faulty as they say different from what they said last month, or is it normal for one test to have a line and one test not too? I attached a photo below x

Sadie95 · 12/03/2021 11:17

@amyannx hey! I always found my one step LH tests were lighter compared to the Poundland ones I get.. I'll show you mine!

One step I didn't get a visible line until I got a positive on the Poundland one, hope this helps x

amyannx · 12/03/2021 11:23

@Sadie95 hey yes this is helpful, just find it strange last month on the one step I always had a line and my test were like yours and said mark at the end, the ones I ordered say max at the end so wondered if they were the same even though they are both one step tests as these ones don't seem to be picking anything up like the easy home are x

TeeBee89 · 12/03/2021 11:38

@SF543 do you have a pic of your test from last night? I have been using OPKs for a few months now and sometimes mine have looked like they are starting to get darker but then they get fainter again the following day and then a day or so later it goes from being super low to a massive peak super quick, it could be because you tested in the morning as I've read the best time to test for LH surge is afternoon / early evening so test again this afternoon and another one this evening to see if you can catch the peak and then keep testing over the next few days. Or if it was the case that you peaked in the night it means you'll be ovulating 24-36 hours later so you still have a few days of your fertile window regardless 😊 also temping is another good way to know for sure when you've ovulated so def try that next cycle if you don't get a bfp this cycle 😊 good luck 🤞🏼

Confused678866 · 12/03/2021 11:43

@amyannx Hey. I began using the One Step strips this month too and I thought they were faulty.. I didn’t even get a faint line which I found out you were supposed to as you always have LH in your system.. mine literally showed nothing at all apart from the control line. I’ve just looked back and mine said ‘Mark’ not ‘Max’... I did eventually get a darker test line but I’d already caved and bought the Clear Blue digital (the pink one) because I just found the strips too stressful trying to interpret what was actually showing up!!
When I got a darker test line on the One Step, it still wasn’t as dark or darker than the control line but then I got my static smiley on my clear blue (peak)... so I don’t really rate them much myself.
Lots of people swear by the One Step but I have also read lots of mixed of reviews. Xx

SF543 · 12/03/2021 11:47

@Confused678866 hey! Thank you so much for your response, I think next month the Clear blue will be the best option. They're just quite expensive and it's a struggle as it is right now. I'm worrying as my OPK is faint this morning, so I'm sssuming I will OV today. I BD last night and going tonight as well to catch it. I just want to be sure I'm focusing on the right days:(. I don't measure temp and I don't plan too, I think it's too confusing for me I don't think I have the patience lol xx

amyannx · 12/03/2021 11:49

@Confused678866 hey! Yeah I used them last month and they worked really well for me, I always had a line and then got a blazing positive, this month not even a faint line is showing, I ordered them from amazon again but the test line says max not mark so I don't know if that has made a difference? I'm going to keep using them and the easy home to compare this month as the easy home are working ok for me so far x

SF543 · 12/03/2021 11:50

@TeeBee89 hey! Yes I'll attach the picture now, so bare in mind these are 3 different tests. Look at the times and keep in mind they're the same test, the one before bed last night was quite dark but not yet positive. I hope I get a positive in the next few days but going to BD until Monday/Tuesday atleast to make sure I cover everything. Thank you, good luck to you how are you getting on?

March 2021 TTC Bus!
Confused678866 · 12/03/2021 11:51

@SF543 Yeah it’s pretty expensive. I bought the pink clear blue one and it has the reader and 20 tests and it cost me £37.99 🥴 so it isn’t really something I want to keep paying for but they are really good. We’re in the middle of selling our house and buying a new one so the money really could be used there!
I think if you had the darker line yesterday, you’ve DTD last night and you plan to today then you sound like you’re covering it. Have you DTD in the run up to yesterday’s darker line at all?
I find the temperature thing too confusing too, that’s why I don’t do it. Trying to interpret OPK’s are enough for my brain to handle at the moment 😂 xx

Confused678866 · 12/03/2021 11:52

@amyannx Yeah I’ve read reviews in the last month or so of ‘faulty batches’ but I don’t know if there’s any truth behind that. It is strange that it’s changed from Mark to Max?
Yes stick to the easy home ones and see how you to. Good luck 🤞🏻 xx

Jade1107xox · 12/03/2021 11:56

Hi Everyone, I'm new here so I'm not down with all of the abbreviations yet lol.

I'm 27 years old and we've been TTC baby no 1 for a few months, I feel like this month is the month that I've finally got my dates down and my head around everything.

My cycles are longer and occasionally vary from 36-42 days depending on stress levels with work, more recently its been consistently 42 days on the dot.

This month I used clear blue digital ovulation to start tracking my fertile days more occurately, my own maths worked out ovulation around day 28 which was confirmed with the tests and other symptoms sore boobs, CM change etc, I got flashing smile face for 4 days then still smiley face for 2 days (peak) had sex frequently throughout this period and also used conceive plus lube.

On Wednesday 10/03 around 5 days before AF due, I started getting some light bleeding/spotting only when wiping, light cramps and back cramps, then it got a little heavier going into 11/03 with no cramps but bleeding not as heavy as normal AF, it now seems to be stopping and its kind of wishy washy pink/brown when wiping.

Am I being crazy or could this be IB?, I know its probably wishful thinking but though I'd check if anyone else has experienced this before?
Thanks xxxx
