Hey everyone! Thought I would start a March 2021 TTC bus. I'm TTC for first baby, cycle #8, CD12 hopping off from Feb 2021 bus. Wishing lots of baby dust and BFPs to all! Xx

@Mrsmujic It’s tough isn’t it because life/work definitely gets in the way!!
Here’s what we did:

DTD: 27th Feb, 2nd March, 3rd March and 5th... I didn’t use my OPK on the 4th as I didn’t have time! Got my peak on the 5th and DTD that night but then planned to DTD the following 2 days but partner exhausted from work so it just didn’t happen.
I don’t have the clear blue with the flashing smileys, I’ve got the pink one so it’s just either a blank circle or a solid smiley. Kicking myself for not using OPK as I could’ve had solid smiley then but I really don’t know. Xx

Confused678866 · 10/03/2021 10:00

@Mrsmujic Sorry that should’ve said - kicking myself for not using OPK on 4th as could’ve got smiley xx

dunkedbiscuit · 10/03/2021 10:23

@Confused678866 you sound just like me! We conceived really quickly with our first, within a few weeks of coming of contraception and we were very relaxed about it all! This time round I don’t know, maybe there’s more pressure and general stress- we’re getting older/ living through a pandemic, etc! Also not much else to do during lockdown!

@Mrsmujic I think we’ve also only DTD twice during flashing smiley phase as that worked out to be every other day, static smiley today so hope to get some lunchtime action in when toddler naps & hopefully another go at it tomorrow 🤞 to me that feels like a pretty good shot at it !

gracie2307 · 10/03/2021 10:35

Hey ladies hope you are doing well? Congrats to those who have had BFPs!

@Lizbb So sorry for my late reply how are you? Hows everything going?

I'm 6dpo today I don't feel any symptoms or anything apart from feeling very tired. My anxiety is playing up massively I'm really worried it hasn't worked again this month and mentally I just don't have enough energy to go through another negative this month. I know its still early there's time etc normally I feel way more positive and upbeat but its waring thin and I have no idea why. I'm so worried it won't happen for us in terms of having children full stop. Sorry all I just think I'm having a wobbly day 😔 hoping normal service will resume tomorrow! Xx

Heya, hoping to join the TTC bus! It’s first cycle of actually trying to do things at the right time after ‘seeing what happens’ for the best part of 10 years.
I basically have textbook cycles, though I’m on cabergoline for hyperprolactemia. Had positive opk on day 14 followed by cramps within a few hours. Followed by sore boobs shortly after. I’m only 7DPO but something’s definitely different this cycle. I had horrible dizziness and a tiny spot of blood 5DPO followed by a couple more drops 6DPO and cramps and a strange tickling feeling in my uterus that I’ve never felt before. This morning I have nausea.
I know it’s very early days, and I shouldn’t have symptoms this early but the bleeding is the main thing that threw me as I’ve never had any mid cycle in my life. Even with the hyperprolactemia my periods just stopped and when I started cabergoline they just went back to a 28 days cycle.

I have one FRER and trying to hold off testing as I’m sure it can’t be positive yet, and they are darn expensive!

SkaterChick · 10/03/2021 11:10

@gracie2307 don't apologise, we all have bad days.
The anxiety waiting to test is killing me.
AF is apparently due Friday but this is based from my previous period which I had right after having my coil out so I don't yet know if I'm back in a cycle.
All my opk's were negative so I gave up as it was disappointing but I get clear ovulation symptoms each month. Except this month, I usually get ewcm and it's noticeable but it doesn't seem to have appeared since before I had my coil out.
So I'm making myself wait till the weekend, see if AF shows up. It's all making me really anxious!

The app sometimes reads it wrong for me. I now upload the strips manually to get the ratios. It works fine. Go try!

Hi all 👋🏼 hoping I can join this TTC bus! First month trying for first baby, I had my peak on ovulation test on Saturday but didn’t get my temp rise until yesterday morning, so unsure whether I ovulated Sunday or Monday, but we dtd both Sunday and Monday...unfortunately didn’t get any other chances before hand this cycle as we’ve literally just moved into our new house so have spent most of our waking minutes with a paint brush in our hands or unpacking boxes and didn’t have an ounce of energy for anything else lol...so I’m not too hopeful for this month but at least we caught the peak 🤞🏼 Only just started the tww and am already getting impatient so thought I’d join this thread to help cheer everyone on whilst We all wait it out and hope this is a lucky month for us all 😊

Is anyone else around 3dpo?

Sadie95 · 10/03/2021 11:48

@TeeBee89 jumping on here also! I'm 4DPO today, first cycle of TTC baby #2 x

TeeBee89 · 10/03/2021 11:54

@Sadie95 ohh good stuff! Any tips on how to not go loopy during the tww 🤣 am hoping to distract myself enough with unpacking and getting the house sorted, but waiting another 10 days just seems like it’s going to be such a challenge lol how many dpo do you think you’ll start testing?

Lalala1985 · 10/03/2021 11:57

@FS20222

Hi all! Trying for second child at the mo. Came off the pill around a year ago make sure I was ready for when we wanted to try. We actively started “trying” this cycle (I.e. ovulation tests etc) was just casual before now, last cycle I got a positive but then followed by negatives so thought would starting trying “properly” this cycle as we got excited! My period started 16th Feb, my cycle is usually bang on 28 days. So not due next until 16th March. Started spotting today brown when I wipe. Could this be implantation? As I usually only spot a day or two before my period. Good luck to all of you who are TTC right now! X
You’re pretty much the same as me. I’m due 17th March, on a 28 day cycle and got spotting. Fingers crossed it’s a good sign!
dunkedbiscuit · 10/03/2021 12:21

Sending love @gracie2307 sorry you’re having a wobbly day, ttc is so testing on our emotions isn’t it ❤️

No tips here 🤣 I'm the same, trying to symptom spot even though it's probably impossible but your mind just runs away with itself doesn't it 🤦🏼‍♀️ I'm working from home at the moment so not many distractions either! I was thinking of testing 8DPO (Sunday 14th) as with my first that's when I got my first faint positive! What about you? @TeeBee89

dunkedbiscuit · 10/03/2021 12:34

Welcome @Lalala1985 @TeeBee89 and @Sadie95 lovely to have you guys join 😊

Confused678866 · 10/03/2021 12:39

@dunkedbiscuit Yes I think lockdown really doesn't help me. Working from home mainly which results in me having way too much time on my hands to over think absolutely everything! I really wish I was so much more relaxed like the first time! I also know how extremely lucky I was to conceive so quickly so I think I've put it firmly in my head that it will take much longer this time around, who knows?!

@gracie2307 Don't apologise, we all have these days.. I have them pretty frequently these days. I'm already a mummy to a nearly 2 year old and conceived very quickly with him but I still have wobbles about 'What if I can't get pregnant again?'
You will be fine, and hopefully you are feeling a little better about everything tomorrow. TTC is hard, we all compare ourselves to everyone else and wish for things to happen that are happening to other people - Hope you feel better soon xx

@SkaterChick Good luck - I think you're doing the right thing and just wait to see if AF shows up.. Good luck! xx

@TeeBee89 Congratulations on the house move! Hopefully this will be me in a few months time!
Sounds like you covered the days you needed to. I had my peak OPK on Friday and we DTD that night but then didn't get around to it on Saturday or Sunday but we DTD a few times leading up to positive OPK. We already have a nearly 2 year old so we're TTC baby number 2.
I haven't ever tracked ovulation using temp but I know it's the best indicator isn't it? This is the first month I've used OPK's. We started trying in January.. my cycles have been shorter and then longer. Shortest is 22 and longest is 29 so that was my main reason for tracking ovulation as I think I could have been missing the window completely. Good luck to you, hope you get your BFP soon!
Oh and I think I'm roughly 4DPO now xx

Confused678866
yess agreed my first son is positive
my mc i didnt reaceive any shot at all and they gave it to me after Mc, so ill be preparred for this new pregnancy sense received the shot:)

Confused678866 · 10/03/2021 14:39

@mimimi2018 That's good to hear, glad you've had the injection!

SkaterChick · 10/03/2021 15:44

So if AF doesn't show I'll need to get some preg tests (I didn't want to get them before so I can make myself wait 🤣)

Does it really matter what you get? Are the more expensive ones better than cheapo ones?

Lizbb · 10/03/2021 16:09

@gracie2307hey babe bless u. Ur allowed to feel such way u have emotions and ur human. Please stay faithful and positive. As u said it's still early and you dont no Gods plan. (Sorry if ur not religious). Stay strong, here if u wanna talk 🥰

TeeBee89 · 10/03/2021 16:18

@Sadie95 I know what you mean, probably far too early but doesn’t stop me making note of every twinge and symptom 😂 I’m going to try my hardest to hold off testing until a couple of days before AF is due, but we will see how that goes and I may well start testing on cheapies earlier than that as I have a load that came with my OPKs...I feel like it’s going to be a long two weeks!

TeeBee89 · 10/03/2021 16:27

@Confused678866 thank you! Must admit it’s a real novelty having so much space after living with the in-laws for over 6 months! And nice to finally have a place of our own after 10+ years of renting
I have been tracking with OPKs for the past few months to get a better insight into my cycles, but only just started temping this month now that we are actually trying as I’ve heard it’s the best way to see whether you’ve definitely ovulated or not. Having to put the thermometer right on top of my phone before I go to sleep to make sure I take it straight away when my alarm goes off other wise I forget 😆 Best of luck this month, hope you get to your bfp! We are at a similar point in our cycles, how long are you going to hold off testing for? Xx

Confused678866 · 10/03/2021 16:40

@TeeBee89 Oh I bet it’s lovely having your own space!! We bought our first house 4 years ago, sold a few weeks ago and have found our new one! Majorly outgrown the house we’re in with our toddler.... who clearly is the boss of this place!

I might start doing the temping if I have no luck this month, it’s definitely a very accurate way!
I really don’t know when I will test - my cycles have been a little irregular. First month TTC period was later than normal by a couple days and then last month it showed up 6 days early! So it’s thrown me completely to be honest. I do have 2 FRER tests in my drawer but I just think I’ll hold off as long as possible to be honest. How about you? Xx
