Hey everyone! Thought I would start a March 2021 TTC bus. I'm TTC for first baby, cycle #8, CD12 hopping off from Feb 2021 bus. Wishing lots of baby dust and BFPs to all! Xx

@Confused678866 Sorry, think we posted at the same time so I didn't see your message. Id say you had it covered with those dates. Sperm can live up to 5 days so you definitely will have had some there waiting for the egg with the 2nd and 3rd and definitely the 5th at least. Id definitely say you were in with a good chance x

Hi @melissa112...your tests look fab! I did the second one out of my 2 for 99p pack today and it was darker! I also bought a digital weeks and didn't it this even and it says 1-2 weeks. Now paranoid that at 14dpo it should be more than 1-2 weeks! I dont know why I'm doing this to myself...I would never have tested this much before 😂

@melissa112 Thank you! I really hope so.. I’m a terrible over thinker about everything.. even things I can’t go back and change. I just really wish I’d have done an OPK on the 4th as I would have known then. Bizarrely, I did take an OPK on the 3rd and I couldn’t see a line at all (using One Step strip) and I inputted it into Premom and it came up as a high reading but I think it was wrong as I couldn’t even see anything myself! Used my Clear blue and didn’t get a smiley that day, just on the 5th.
Hopefully I’ve covered it enough 🤞🏻 If not, I’ll be going again next month.
I’m either 3 or 4 DPO now as I’m not entirely sure when I ovulated as only using OPK’s so a while to wait yet! Xx

@Lins3y thanks hun. Id say you were probably at the cusp of the 1-2/2-3 band. You could have ovulated later in the day or your levels are just st the top of the first bracket. With a darker test today I'm sure in a few days you will see the 2-3 🙂 i know how worrying it is but hope you can take some comfort from the darker line. Did you mean you did the digital this evening? Could just be a more diluted wee? I'd defo try again in a few days x

@Confused678866 If you didnt get a smiley before the peak day I'd say you have caught it in time and definitely got a few days before that which could have done the trick too. It's a long wait isn't it. I'm the same about overthinking. About everything really, I think I should have said or done this and that. This is such a big thing that I think its natural to overthink it x

@melissa112 Yeah hopefully. I’m just kicking myself now for not making time on the morning of the 4th as I may have got a smiley then!! Oh well.

@Confused678866 We only DTD once this cycle and it was on the day I got a static smiley on the clearblue pink tests. I got a bfp yesterday at 10dpo x

@athersB omg I hope that's my case as well. 🤞. That gives me hope. Lol. Congrats as well. Hubby does night shift and only managed to dtd on the day I got my peak on cb and opk. I pray that's enough. 🙏🙏

@melissa112 yeah, I meant this evening...autocorrect at its best lol! Im not too concerned to be honest. Hopefully like you say it was a bit dilute and also maybe just at the stage of changing to 2-3. Might retry the second one tomorrow and then I'm definitely done haha! How are you feeling? Any "symptoms"? You should finitely be reassured with your darker line? 🙂

@DNpink82 glad you’ve posted that picture and story re your peak.
I’ve just started on these sticks and taking the pictures on the app. Just need to be patient now.

Apologies for being AWOL for a bit - congratulations to all who got a BFP in the meantime and hello to all the new peeps😁
I'm 4dpo today. I use the clearblue opks and got a smiley face last Mon-Wed and then static smiley on Thurs which was peak. @Confused678866 I also worried about not DTD enough but DTD Mon, Tues and then Thurs. I told DH what my opks said as its our first so want him to be excited with me. I wanted to DTD Wed night too but he thought I was trying to kill him so we delayed a day 😆

hard a hard time trying to think about ttc right now also with my recent MC! glad to know all us women go threw it and can express our selves, im so sorry for your mc and i wish you the bests of luck for iur BFP soon! as my doctor told me ( usually a big healthy pregnancy is right after a mc) gives me hope and worry some since i am rh factor ! xx

@Lins3y thanks hun. Managed to BD yesterday so hope that covers it. Would have been a day before and day after O. 🤞. So TWW (DPO2) begins for me. So gonna let God do his thing as hes done before 🙏🙂
Hey ladies I had this pressured feeling(not to painful) on my left side yesterday is that normal. The pain was for about 30m or so. Not sure I had it before or maybe I did but didnt take notice lol. Thanks

@mimimi2018 sorry to hear about your MC, that must have been very tough. Hopefully you’re not waiting too long for baby number 2 🤞🏻
I’m RH negative too but I had the Anti-D injection halfway though my first pregnancy and then baby’s blood was taken when he was born. He has same blood as me so didn’t have to have another injection.
I was told that as long as the injections are covered, it shouldn’t have any effects on future pregnancies?

Hi girls, congrats on the BFPs and fingers crossed for those in TWW!

Just to say my app says I ovulate today, however after testing on clearblue digital and a cheapy opk it looks like that's incorrect. I still only got the flashing smiley today.

Does anyone ovulate a bit later in their cycle? X

@Mrsmujic hey yes I do, I’m never really right on the prediction on my flo app. Normally a day or two out. Best of luck xxx I have a week to go until ovulation so nervous as I am always petrified of the bfn

Sorry if this is way tmi 🙄 but im in fertile so we’ve been DTD every other day in the hope sperm will be there ready for O day, but yesterday I had a medical appointment which ended up involving an internal exam. I wasn’t really expecting this when I went, and I’m worried it may of, erm, dislodged any stuff that may of been up there? Not sure if I’m being a bit neurotic but I felt a bit upset about it, afterall that work and effort we’ve put in!

I’m on CD13 and got a static smiley this morning (first month of using OPKs) so looks like I ovulate on day 14? This is earlier than I thought and different to what the apps tell me @Mrsmujic so I’m glad I’ve used OPKs as otherwise we may have missed it

@dunkedbiscuit I’m sure it would all be fine.. sperm swims to where it needs to anyway so I don’t think it would have done any harm? I’m no expect at all and can see why you’d be feeling this way but I’m sure you’re okay.

@Mrsmujic This is my first month of using OPK’s but one of my apps suggested that I ovulated on the 4th. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to use my OPK on the 4th because of work getting in the way and life with a toddler! I used my Clear Blue OPK on Friday 5th and got my solid smiley then so I’m guessing I ovulated on the 6th?? So mine was a little later than suggested by the app xx

@dunkedbiscuit Oh I’m with you!! You should hear the irrational thoughts that are always going around in my head these days since we’ve started TTC!!! One day I’m fine, the next day I’m an overthinking mess!!!
I was never this way when we conceived our first - fell pregnant in the first cycle after coming off my pill, didn’t track anything, didn’t notice anything... in fact, I was pregnant and didn’t know. I went out with the girls and one of them said ‘are you pregnant?’ (They knew we’d started trying) and I said ‘Nah, I’m on my period now’... that said period was implantation bleeding and I didn’t even know, I just thought it was a light period due to my body trying to get back to normal after stopping the pill! 2 weeks later, didn’t feel right, tested and it was positive. 😂
This time around I’m crazy!! And it’s definitely because I’m tracking everything! 🙄😂 xx

My cycles are a bit weird varying from 28-36 days. Currently my app is set to 32 days as that seems to be the average for me. Might just be a few days longer cycle this time. I'm just gonna keep waiting for that static smiley. It's hard as hubby works shifts and is going to bed super early this week as up at 4am - typical with it being FW.

This may sound very naive, and I know that sperm can live up to 5 days but how important is it to DTD during the flashing stage? We have DTD a couple of times but he's gonna be so tired after today and not up to doing much more until peak 😂 We plan to try as hard as we can to try to catch peak this cycle so surely that is the main one that matters? X
