Morning ladies,

After feeling like AF is coming for the last couple of days (due tomorrow), I tested this morning at 14 DPO and I think I might’ve just got my BFP?!! Need some reassurance that this is positive and not an evap line please?

Thank you all in advance xxx

Very very very very faint line on a clear blue 6 days early test this morning, not sure if you can see it on the photo at all? I have every single sign that AF is going to arrive so beginning to think it may be chemical? 😭

At what point do you convince yourself you are actually pregnant?! 😳

First test is positive! Clear blue are less sensitive, try again in a few days, or do another early detection one today.

skidadle · 01/03/2021 07:34

I'd get a clear blue weeks indicator it would show pregnant 1-2weeks or 2-3weeks. They are quite sensitive me I got a positive on one at 11dpo. Good luck xx

Thank you for the reassurance! More FRER’s ordered and come CB digitals too.

There’s definitely SOMETHING on the CB from this morning but it’s so faint in comparison to the FRER. My Clue app has predicted AF to come today (day 29) but my normal cycle length is 32 days so perhaps AF is actually further away than I thought, hence the fainter line.

Thanks you again xxx

Sorry to jump back in here but needing some reassurance or realistic thoughts. Tested again this morning with a FRER and the line is exactly the same as it was on Sunday, no progression 😔

Had crampy feelings on and off for a couple of days and now this afternoon I have had a very small amount of brown discharge when I wiped 😔 thinking it could be chemical but I could do with hearing some positive stories 😔

Xxx

@Squeak717 Hi op. I had a chemical pregnancy in November. I had faint first response tests at 14 dpo, then gradually nothing over a few days. Bloody horrible as I truly believed I was pregnant for a couple of days. From experience ( I also have 4 children), a positive is easy to read, and gets darker every test as the hormone detected rises rapidly.
I'm sorry to say, but at this point I would presume I either wasn't pregnant or have had a chemical pregnancy.

Squeak717 · 04/03/2021 07:24

Thank you so much @TulesDana. Heavy bleeding and cramping since the early hours so this is 100% a chemical 😔 Still so upsetting despite it being so early. It’s impossible not to get your hopes up isn’t it xx

@Squeak717 Sorry you didn't get the result you wanted. I went through this in November and even booked myself into maternity services after the first response test, only to have to explain that I didn't need the book in appointment a few weeks later. I'm going to try to apply the sensible advice of waiting till your a few days late to test, really hard to do with all the 6 days early tests and accounts of people getting their bfp 7 dpo etc. Best luck for next time.
