Cigarette Cravings - Early Preg Symptom?

Hi All

Period due in 4 days so haven't tested yet tbh we aren't actually trying at the moment really but I checked my ovia and can see we did have sex during my fertile window.

My nipples are feeling tingly like they have in my previous pregnancies (baby born in April and miscarriage in December)

One thing is I am really really craving cigarettes. I haven't smoked for years and I obviously won't smoke now but my god, I am thinking about it all the bloody time! I even mimicked smoking the other day and felt better! Blush

Did anyone notice a smoking craving during their pregnancy? I hope it buggers off soon! It's worse than when I actually quit smoking!

I did! So strange! I just loved the smell of cigarettes the whole way through my pregnancy it went literally as soon as I had DD.

I haven't smelt a cigarette yet! When I had DS and when pg with my little angel bean I couldn't stand the smell! If someone had smoked and then came near me I wanted to be sick haha!

I haven't stopped thinking about cigarettes for about 3 days!

I'm glad or went as soon as you had DS though! Well done for avoiding, the whole of pregnancy must have been a killer 🤣

I’m prone to retching in the face of anyone smoking near me in early pregnancy but with DC1 I kept craving whiskey! Was sick as a pig so can’t imagine it’d have done me any favours if I’d actually given in to it. Hormones are weird!

I had a few dreams about smoking early pregnancy (I am an ex smoker). Never fancied it conscious but chuffed a fag in my dream and when I’d first wake up I would remember I can’t smoke and wondered if that would count as smoking while pregnant 😂 (until I proper woke up!)

I did last month, dreamt about it and everything, and so convinced myself I was preggers (just like most months tbh)... I wasn't. Could go either way! It was totally random
