Hi I was wondering if anyone with experience of soy isoflavones can help. I picked some up today in Holland and Barrett but it says the dose is 750mg unless I'm misinterpreting.. I am going to take from day 3-7 and start at 60mg and work up.

Can anyone explain to me what the dose is per capsule from looking at this?

hi @Fifi1086 Can we see the front of the bottle? Can't work it from there.

Toastedsesame · 26/02/2021 22:53

@Fifi1086 I've just looked up those holland & barrett ones and they are 750mg so I'm afraid no good for ttc! Lots of folk take them for menopause so thats why they make these strong ones, when I was looking I found it rly hard to find the low dose ones.

These are what I got in the end, not cheap but did the job, they are 38mg per tablet, so I took them like this - www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000Z94JA8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?psc=1&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&ie=UTF8

Day 2 - 2xtablets
Day 3 - 2x tablets
day 4 - 3x tablets
day 5 - 3x tablets
day 6 - 4x tablets

Hope that helps!

Hi @Toastedsesame thanks so much! I did a bit of digging and apparently they're 23mg, it says 750 standardised to contain 23mg of isoflavones, that's what some other threads seem to say anyway!

@Toastedsesame believe me I know, you need a phd in pharmacy to figure it out!!! But def 23mg phew!
