Can someone help please lol

I'm new to ovulation testing and i basically have to hunt it during the month lol the other day my tests was getting stronger and stronger so I thought ovulation was coming.
I missed testing a day because I didn't have any so the next day I tested and completely negative..tested today with a. Different brand test I'm not used to so downloaded an app to help me work out the result and I took 2 pictures of the test and got a peak reading from one and the other a low.
It's the same test and within a minute of each other so I don't understand why it's different?

@unknownttc those are incredibly faint lines so I understand your frustration.
Looks like the picture is distorted on the second one though? The ‘max’ word looks squished together. Perhaps it’s that?

I’d really recommend the Clearblue digital tests though. Takes the guess work out of it, which equals less stress!

I just don't understand any of it atall... I thought it would be positive with two lines like a pregnancy test lol

Also, it looks like you’re using One Step opk? I started with these too and found it was barely picking anything up either.
I switched to Easy@Home opk and they were much more sensitive and both the lines were stronger for me. Maybe switch to those if you don’t want to try the CB yet?

Yeah I'll give them a go Thankyou x

It really is a science!

If you’re not comfortable with the sciency stuff, or the time you will have to commit to chasing that dark line, you really should switch to the CB digital.

Or maybe temp instead? I don’t do that myself but works for many ladies on here

Hi all,

Sorry to jump on this thread. I am new to ovulation testing and have been using an app to see a pattern. It says I peaked yesterday and then today it has started to drop. Would you agree that the peak is a positive ovulation test? I wasn’t able to test twice a day yesterday as I was out the house in the afternoon so wondering whether the line would’ve got darker would I have tested. I know the control line isn’t very dark but I have read that this doesn’t not matter. Just wondering what you all think and looking for some advice. Thank you! X

I would really recommend CB tests to avoid squinting at all these lines. I found with the lines I didn't really know if I'd had my peak until I'd done the next day's test and compared. Look online and they are not too expensive if you use the tests over a few cycles - I got the more basic pink CB tests which were cheaper than the purple ones with flashing smiley. Good luck
