You'd have to do the same type of test to compare lines. The amount of dye in different brands varies hugely!

I've got lots of tests here's same urine with same brand as before

These are 10mlu and the other is 25.

Update ladies I've had some brown spotting today I'm just 5 weeks it's there when I wipe been to doctors he's checked me over but as I have a scan booked in epu at 6 weeks there's nothing I can do if it's happening again :( had so many miscarriages now thought this treatment was working for me my tests from last night are still strong and done first response today and there still there so will have to rest up and hope for the best :( yesterday's cheapies and today's tests on first response rapid test x

Hope that everything goes ok. I’m sorry about what you have been through. Don’t lose hope, brown spotting is the best type in a way - old blood/implantation. The lines are really dark on your test now too so this shows high hcg levels. Everything crossed for you 🤞.

Thankyou I hope this is well this time .. it seems to have stopped now I wore a pad whilst I've been out today and mom was on it just a couple hours of brown when I wiped nothing major so will have to just rest now and see if things stay calm and my tests don't get lighter over next few days fingers crossed .. Thankyou for your message yes my lines do seem good mine usually fade before I bleed so this seems somewhat different c x

Me too well I will be 5 weeks tomorrow and had some brown when I wipe it seems to have stopped now my tests are also strong however it can take a while for all the hcg to leave the body after a loss .. how long have you had brown spotting for ? X

@tinkerbell999 hey, it started late last night, it's been minimal amounts tbh.. I think it has pretty much stopped now but will see in the morning. I'd expect HCG tests to decrease by now if it was a chemical but my line was stronger today than 2 days ago when I last tested x

Hi @tinkerbell999 and @DizSquiz, i also had the same light, brown spotting thursday evening and yesterday but seems to have stopped today. Lines still strong on FRER. Booked into GP for hcg bloods next week but the waiting is torture! Good luck, hope it's nothing sinister for any of us.

Ahh bless you I hope yours stays that way and all is well how far are you ? I'm just 5 weeks so need to wait until thirsday for scan :( torture I've had a tiny bit this morning too so will have to wait and see my first response are the same x

I've ordered some more easy@home today see what lines are like on those as I love those tests for progression they will be here later I've carried on with my treatment and injections just incase I'm lucky and it's a sticky bean xx

I'm feeling okay got up and took my meds and checked for bleeding a tiny smidge of brown thismorning so hoping it's stopped waiting game I suppose yeah lines still look okay but these are sensitive tests aren't they so supppse would take a while to show a drop .. how are you ? X

Hoping it's good news for us all and yes usually when I have a chemical my lines don't progress much then they fade off then I bleed so fingers crossed its not for your if your lines have got strong what tests did you use. ,? X

I've been using the FRERs alongside internet cheapies - basically using both to cross reference against each other wether the lines are getting darker. I use both tests with the same urine. So far none have got lighter only darker

I know some people say the darkness of the line is nothing to go by, but imo the lines do progress
