Coil removal

Hey everyone!
I had my coil out today in readiness to start trying! I already feel obsessed with knowing whether I am ovulating, what were others experiences after having a coil removed?

Hi @ArBird, I got my copper coil removed last June towards the end of my cycle. AF was 8 or 9 days late but I ovulated and conceived the next month. Good luck

I've had the mirena coil in for a long time over ten years, reason I've not had it out as I've been scared, I went to have it out yesterday they pulled the strings and they come away not the coil, I'm having to be referred on to possibly have xray to locate it, I'm worrying about this, any thoughts and helpful advice would be appreciated xx
