Has anyone had any experiences of false positives with One Step tests or just in general? I took a test yesterday and it was bfp, so took another which was also bfp but all tests today have been bfn. I've ordered a frer to confirm but just wondering if anyone has had expereince with these tests as theres a lot of reviews on amazon saying they give false positives.

I've never had a false positive on these. Have had real positives and real blank negatives.

I havent either but i don't understand why the tests today would be negative, especially since i tested with morning fmu

@Purplemonkey23 one possibility is unfortunately a chemical pregnancy. It is also I guess possible that it's a dodgy test but seems less likely that both were dodgy. I'd test again tomorrow morning

I had this last cycle. I posted about it. I took about 10 of these over 48 hours and one of them came up with a line exactly like yours. This was in the afternoon. I took another 2 hours later and another and another, all BFN!
I've had a chemical before and it wasn't like that.

If those are 2 different tests then they both look positive to me?

Yes different tests. However I have taken 2 frer today and they are both negative. We aren't TTC and it wouldnt make sense if I was pregnant but i'm bewildered about the one step tests!

@Purplemonkey23 I used these and I got a false positive, but I did accidentally dip it past the line so I didn’t count it anyway, AF arrived bang on cue!! Fingers crossed this isn’t the case for you though 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
