Did you know you when you implanted or not?

Hi!

Currently 7dpo. Just for my own curiosity... I was wondering who has felt what they assume was implantation, who experienced bleeding or other physical signs and who was totally oblivious?

Personally, 3 years ago with my son I had one pinprick of red blood on 9dpo. No pain. I remember thinking... ah thats implantation bleeding. It was.

Nothing at all. But I knew between 7 and 10 days DPO as I literally looked like I’d had breast implants. They completely changed size and shape very quickly, and were insanely painful too.

I was having twins so high hormone levels played a part, but despite two implantations there was no bleeding or pain.

Ah amazing @SinkGirl I'm desperately trying to remember when my boobs got sore first time round, I'm sure it wasn't til after my bfp but atm mine feel bloody huge and I can't even touch my nipples 😂🙈

I had the exact same as you, with the pin prick of blood, on what I guess was roughly 9dpo (wasn't tracking properly). Didn't think too much of it as I had zero other symptoms and was fairly unconvinced we'd caught ovulation successfully anyway. Decided to take a test the next day and it was a faint positive! Continued to have no symptoms at all until at least a week after finding out, which was strange because I was obsessed with reading about other people's symptoms on here and second guessing mine in other cycles 😅 I'm just over 7 weeks now!

I guess with singletons these signs come later, since with twins it’s double the HCG. But I was reasonably sure I was pregnant way before my period was due, although it’s my only pregnancy so I had nothing to compare it to.

I was then struck down with hideous fatigue and nausea about a week after my period being due.

One smear of pink around 7dpo. BFP on 13dpo

Megan2018 · 24/02/2021 22:38

No. Nothing, and no pregnancy symptoms at all apart from missed period until 8 weeks.

MuchTooTired · 24/02/2021 22:39

It felt like scratching on my insides twice, like something burrowing in, was very weird! I’ve never had the sensation before or since, and doubt I’ll be having any more kids to find out if that’s what happens for me or if it was just that one pregnancy.

Garman · 24/02/2021 22:48

Out of 4 pregnancies I've inky noticed implantation once. I woke up feeling so sick, bad stomach, irritable, stressed, so tired, and that afternoon I felt sensations in my lower abdomen I've never felt before, it was so unbelievably noticeable. Tiny bit of brown spotting the next morning then.

Flamingolingo · 24/02/2021 22:51

Yes, sat at my desk at work, a few days after ovulation, I felt sudden cramping that went on for most of the afternoon. It was too early for period symptoms and I remember being quite sure that’s what it was.

indemMUND · 24/02/2021 23:00

Nope. I get severe ovulation pain though, so I knew exactly when I'd ovulated. Had sex as soon as I was able to, same day. Tracked everything at the time as had been trying for two years. Funnily enough it turned out I was pregnant for exactly nine months to the day.

DramaAlpaca · 24/02/2021 23:05

No, utterly oblivious to implantation with all three pregnancies. I was certain each time that I was pregnant several days before my period was due though.

Finding this all super interesting. Thanks guys 😁

Nothing whatsoever. I got my bfp at 9dpo, so knew it happened a few days beforehand but no clue.

Alicespring · 25/02/2021 12:52

I did but didn't realise at the time (was the one month we weren't trying!) But I got so dizzy doing ANYTHING and had a really heavy cold come out of nowhere, thought it had covid and got a test....nope turns out I was pregnant 🙈

Janxyb · 25/02/2021 13:18

I had a small strange churning sensation one night in bed. I'd never felt it before (and never since then). I had a positive test by the end of the week. It could of been something else but I just feel like it was that. Trouble is we have decided to start trying for #2 and now I know I'm going to be obsessed with having that 'feeling' again 😂

Toastedsesame · 25/02/2021 20:23

@Janxyb Oh I can imagine I'd be the same. I've been checking every time I go to the toilet for that one speck of blood Grin
