Faint Positive at 5-6 weeks?

My period is 13 days late, my cycle is typically 35 days. I’ve had no symptoms besides being sick on one occasion however this could also have been caused by an unrelated issue. I’ve also had some cramping and mild bleeding around 5 days ago, although I have had some mild cramps since. I have taken two pregnancy tests one yesterday in the middle of the day which showed up, but seemed rather faint. I tested again first thing this morning to try and get a more accurate result, however this line was just as faint and didn’t seem to get darker. As I’m assuming I’d be around the 5 -6 week mark at this point, I was wondering if this means I am pregnant or if it’s a possibility it may be a MC or a chemical pregnancy? If anyone has had an experience with something similar let me know and it has gone either way please let me know thank you xx

If your pregnancy test is positive ( even if its only a faint line) it means you are pregnant.
I think the bleeding and cramping suggest that you had a very early mc. Even after mc the Hcg level can show up for weeks, so that would explain the faint lines. (I had a mc in November and took 2 weeks to get a negative pregnancy test after). However, if the line gets stronger soon, you probably had some pregnancy bleeding, and you should call the GP to get booked for a scan.
Are you sure about your dates? Would it be possible you had an implantation 5 days ago? It would explain the cramping, bleeding and the faint pregnancy test.
I would recommend that you keep testing (maybe get cheap ones from Amazon) and see what happens with the line.

What brand of test have you used? Some cheaper ones remain seemingly faint for quite some time! Have you got a pic you can share so people can share their experiences with you?
