Clear Blue Early detection VS First Response Rapid Response

Hi guys, so I thought I had my bfp on Monday using a FRRR at 12dpo, another positive at 13dpo with a FRRR, then this on a clear blue this morning- it looks like an indent line but when put under direct sunlight it's definitely blue. Anyone had any thing similar using these tests? I would have thought clear blue early detection is more sensitive that the FRRR, unless its 2 faulty FRRRs or maybe a chemical? Or I'm just been insane testing too early?

Negative sorry x I can't see any extra line.

24butfeeling80 · 24/02/2021 13:02

How long until you period is due OP?
The first response looks positive- the clear lie doesn’t but I hate clear blue unless I’m 8.5 months pregnant. They’re useless in my eyes.

The first response- is it the 6 days earlier one of the other? - try and get a 6 days earlier.

It could be a chemical but fingers crossed it’s just a a duff clearblue! Flowers

These expensive test made for only one reason: to get money out of women who wants to conceive.
Until your HCG rises there is no way they can predict pregnancy. And if your hormone levels are right, a cheap pregnancy test can show it, there is no need to spend money on these. I think they only work for women who has early implantation.
There is also a big chance to have a chemical pregnancy, and seeing a positive line before AF arrives will be heart-breaking.
I know how difficult is to wait (I`m also in TWW now). I think you should wait till your AF due.

AF due today, I used the First Responce Rapid Response two days before, they're not supposed to be use untill day of AF (forgot to read the label). Thank you all, hard to think rationally isn't it 🙈 no AF symptoms yet, usually get achy boobs a week before AF is due, but nothing so far and constantly peeing, so I'm hopeful xxx

First response kind of looks like mine did at 9dpo 🤔 was glaring, strong BFP a couple of days later. I don’t trust blue dye at all! X

Dinomama21 · 24/02/2021 14:47

@Amz6219 thank you, will pop out to buy some FRERs today ready for tomorrow, I'll be a day late by then so hopefully a stronger line 🤞

Any update OP? I’m invested 🤭

Dinomama21 · 25/02/2021 08:14

@24butfeeling80 I'm exactly the same reading these threads 🤣
Did a frer, and the line is fainter, my BBT has dropped, my symptoms are all gone and I have started spotting. So I'm pretty sure it's a CP this month. Had a good cry about it, but coming out stronger and feeling positive, I'm a huge believer in everything happens for a reason 😊

Ah I’m sorry to hear that! It’s bittersweet taking a home test when this happens. I had a CP last month. The crying really helps in conjunction with the biggest bar of chocolate you can find.

My fingers are crossed for you on the next cycle! Flowers

Dinomama21 · 25/02/2021 11:28

@24butfeeling80 thank you! Af in full swing, heavier and uglier than norm- sorry tmi! On the plus I have a few busy months ahead, so that'll keep me distracted and hopefully not test a couple of days early! God crying helps so much, I had a good cry last night and feel 100x better today! Baby dust to you all ❤❤
