Hello ladies,
I've started using Asda own brand stick ovulation tests, 3 days ago I got a stark negative and yesterday I got a hint of a line and today it's still a faint line but it's stronger. Does this mean ovulation is up coming in the next couple of days as the line is starting to get darker?

I'm testing around the same time everyday

I tried boots opks for the first time this month. I think maybe it will take a few months to get the hang of. I got my strongest result on the first day testing so I had nothing to compare it to and didn’t realise it was my peak. The line faded gradually over the next 2 days. It’s worth looking on forums and online to see pictures of other people’s to get an idea how they develop x

Hi in in the same boat. it's so hard to read them. I've got one that's an obvious line but not as dark as the control...but I don't know if I've ever seen one 'as dark as' or darker. Not sure how to upload a pic here..any help?

I used the clear blue digital pink sticks and the month I conceived I never got a positive ovulation stick, so don’t get disheartened if you don’t get the results you’re hoping for because sometimes good things come as a suprise x

I used the cheaper ovulation kits and really struggled reading them. The 3 times I have got pregnant have all been from using Clearblue 5 day kits with the smiley face and flashy smiley face....they're expensive but they worked a treat for me!

Hi all,

Sorry to jump on this thread. I am new to ovulation testing and have been using an app to see a pattern. It says I peaked yesterday and then today it has started to drop. Would you agree that the peak is a positive ovulation test? I wasn’t able to test twice a day yesterday as I was out the house in the afternoon so wondering whether the line would’ve got darker would I have tested. I know the control line isn’t very dark but I have read that this doesn’t not matter. Just wondering what you all think and looking for some advice. Thank you! X
