Ovulation bleeding and pain

Has anyone experienced ovulation cramping and bright red bleeding at ovulation? I'm worried that the bleeding is heavy, it's bright red and there when I wipe. It's mixed with lots of CM so I don't know if that's making it worse. I'm also getting awful cramps like a period. I've had ovulation pains before that just feel like pinching but this is much worse. TIA x

I've had ovulation bleeding a few times since having my son 3 years ago. It always starts pink and turns to red with a mix of cm. It can look like quite a lot but I think thats because its mixed with cm. I get painful ovulation too, specifically left side. It never lasts long tho, how long has it gone on for?

Pain has been on and off all day, feels like period cramps. Bleeding started this afternoon 😕

@chloedancer897 how far into your cycle are you? I had what I soon realised was probably ovulation bleeding, woke up for my morning wee and had brown blood in thick but clear CM when I wiped. Mine went to pale pink tinges on the toilet paper though afterwards, I didn't experience any red blood but everyone's different! I had ovulation aches for a good 5 or 6 days after this though, not painful, just niggly feelings in my pelvic area. Hope it stops for you!

@Bee44 I was CD11, it disappeared by CD13. The pain felt like the start of a period. In my TWW now so fingers crossed x were you TTC when it happened to you?x

@chloedancer897 glad it stopped after a couple of days. Yes I was and still am! It happened at the start of this month on CD13 I think ovulation day was 3 or 4 days later which is why I'm assuming ovulation, AF hasn't arrived though yet but I'm getting bfn's 🤔. I'd never had ovulation bleeding before then so I was sat probably like you were googling what it meant! Only came off the pill in January and this is my 2nd cycle so I'm still trying to work out what's normal for me. Had cramping a couple of days ago again but no blood or CM this time.

@Bee44 how many DPO are you now? I'm still cramping on and off but no further bleeding. Only time will tell...

@chloedancer897 I think I'm 11dpo now, not using opk's or temping yet so only going by the last day of EWCM but obviously I could be wrong. I only had a 23day cycle last month and today is cd23 again so anytime from now really. How many dpo are you?

@Bee44 7 or 8DPO going by OPKs. Been TTC for over 3 years now so not hopeful at all. But it's the first time I've had bleeding like that
