Clear Blue Early Detection

Hi everyone!

Has anyone used the clear blue early detection tests? As I’m new to mumsnet it won’t let me add a picture but I’ve done two and had a really faint blue line on them. Read a lot online that they can be misleading and get a lot of false positives.

My cycles vary massively in length so I never really know when I’m due on, could’ve been anywhere from 3 days ago to next week.

Already have DD1 who is 13 months old.

Thanks any help would be much appreciated

If it is blue then it should be positive, but they are renowned for evaps. Could you get some FRER to try, or other pink dye tests? They are more reliable x

@Littlemuffin17 I got a super faint line using clear blue at 9dpo, I wasn't convinced so I took a first response the next day and it was much clearer. They've been getting darker since and I'm now 4+2 ☺️

Thanks both. I went to Asda where annoyingly they only had clear blue or Asda own cheapies. I used a cheapie which had a super super faint line, I’m not sure if anyone else would even think it’s a line. I then did a CB digital and that said “not pregnant” but did a normal CB early detection again and that had a faint blue line again. I think I read the blue dye one is 10MUL in sensitivity and the other two are 25 but who knows !!!! I really need to find a FRER one from somewhere xxx

@Littlemuffin17 I always struggle to get FR in supermarkets, I always manage to get them in boots. Do you have a boots close by? Failing that you can order them off Amazon ☺️ xx

Close enough that I’ll take a trip to get one haha!! I’ll have to convince DP to take a stroll with me later as it’s a nice day. He just thinks I’m mad and thinks we should just wait until I’ve properly 100% missed my period but he doesn’t realise how frustrating it is!! Never had this with my first.. was just a day or so late took a test and had a strong line xx

@Littlemuffin17 I'm exactly the same, I'm 4 weeks and 3 days and I'm still peeing on sticks obsessively 🤦🏻‍♀️. Did my last one today though so I refuse to buy anymore.
Out of all the tests though I definitely trust FR the most, good luck ☺️ xx

So I just did a FRER and got a line on that so I think it looks like I am pregnant again 😬 according to my dates I should be 5+1. God can’t believe I’m doing this again haha thanks for your help xxx

I was testing from 7dpo 🤦🏻‍♀️ We all do it! I got stark negative on FRER 8dpo then faint positive morning of 9dpo :)

Congratulations!! 🎉🎉 FRER definitely the best when testing earlier x
