I appreciate they aren't considered that reliable...but they have always proved very accurate in determining whether pregnancy will proceed or fail for me.

LMP 24/01. Ovulated 10/02 on cd 18. Bfp 5 days ago at 9dpo. Now 13dpo / AF one day late.

When should a weeks indicator move to 2-3?

It's just a rough guide on average levels which can vary for each person and pregnancy. As it means weeks after conception if you know when you ovulated 2-3 weeks would be from around 14dpo but I got my 1-2 weeks with my first at 13dpo but had a blood test at the same time and the dr rang me to say I was very pregnant that my hcg levels were very high so I wouldn't read too much into it it's just a guide :)

treesall · 23/02/2021 08:00

Thanks @firsttimemummy321 I think this is going to be miscarriage number 4 and feeling a bit desperate.

I got my 1-2 at 11 dpo at 2 weeks at dpo. When you got your bfp 5 days ago was that on a digital or did it take a day or two to come up on the digital?

treesall · 23/02/2021 08:46

It came up on a digital at 10dpo (same as last month but it never progressed to 2-3). Still 1-2 this morning.

They really do seem to differ so much for everyone.
I suppose it depends on the hcg level you start out at.
I got my bfp at 8dpo. Didn’t do a digital until 10dpo which showed 1-2, then did another at 12dpo which showed 2-3, and then didn’t get the 3+ until 19dpo.

Have you been tracking progression with lines? I found using frers for progression was the most reassuring for me. Watching the lines get significantly darker was something I’d never really seen with any of my losses. But then getting a dye stealer at 13dpo was amazing.

Like you the digitals had always been very accurate for me at predicting my miscarriages, but at 13dpo I don’t think you need to panic yet. When would your af be due? Lots of women don’t even get a positive on one until their af would be late.

Have everything crossed for you! X

treesall · 23/02/2021 09:47

Thanks @Moominmiss. My AF is now a day late so not feeling too hopeful. Will try and have the willpower to test again for 48 hours... but I don't think the outcome will be good. My frer lines are progressing a bit I think but not as much as they should be, and not like they did in my successful pregnancy.

Those lines still look nice and strong. Not faint like I had with my losses.

I know there’s nothing I can say to make you feel better though. The waiting and wondering is awful.

I really hope things progress well for you this time x

Chica1990 · 23/02/2021 10:16

What PP said is correct, it’s more what the hcg levels do rather than what you start out at.

I have attached what clear blue said to me about the hcg levels in their weeks indicator test (but obviously it can’t be 100% accurate)

Hcg is supposed to double every 48 hours.

If for example you had even 25 hcg on 19th feb for the positive digital, on the 21st feb this would be 50, and today that would be 100. You wouldn’t reach the 2-3 week level today but hopefully you would be 25th.

These have always been quite good for me but I’ve seen loads of people on here these haven’t been accurate for. Have everything crossed for you!

Thank you both. Really appreciate your responses. Please cross your fingers for me!

@treesall that line looks so much darker than my chemicals so looks very promising please try not to worry about the weeks as it's just a guide

treesall · 23/02/2021 14:13

Thanks @firsttimemummy321. It's darker than my early chemical was but it's the same as my 5 week loss last month.

Still on 1-2 weeks today 😭

Hi @treesall. Just seen your post - we were on a trying for Jan BFP thread together, where I think we both have positive tests then bleeds. Anyway just to say sorry to hear things are not progressing as you hoped. I know how it feels when you keep seeing the 1-2 weeks. Keeping my fingers crossed for you that everything works out x

treesall · 24/02/2021 09:01

Aw thanks @Catmum55566. I'm a bit frustrated as this will be mc number 4 in a row but still clinging onto a tiny bit of hope. How are you? xx

OP posts:
Catmum55566 · 24/02/2021 11:06

Oh I would be feeling more than frustrated! Are you going to get some tests? I am not eligible yes as I have 'only' had two. GP agreed to do some bloods though and I am currently in my TWW and taking asprin in the meantime.

firsttimemummy321 · 24/02/2021 11:22

@treesall try not to worry (I know easier said than done) as they are just a guide. Can you speak to your dr as you've had multiple and tell them you're really struggling and could they do a blood test to confirm either way? (Should be 2 2/3 days apart to measure the rise) 🤞🏻

treesall · 24/02/2021 11:23

@Catmum55566 GP did some blood tests which were all clear. Referred me to a gynae but said it'll be a long wait. Also told me to contact Epu so I did but they can't do anything until I've been to the recurrent miscarriage clinic. She said the GP has referred me to the wrong dept if it's just 'gynae' but that actually there's nothing in the system to show she's even done the referral so we are still at sq 1! I will chase up on it once this pregnancy is over. I think we will probably go privately to speed it up a bit.
