Ovulation test confusion

Hi just wondering if anyone had any tips or advice. I tried a couple of ovulation tests last month and there was just the one line on all of them (I randomly tested)
According to my cycle on my smart watch I'm in my fertile window and today there is a very faint line, does that mean ovulation is going to happen soon? I've read that there is always light levels of LH in your system but last months test had no lines at all nothing faint.
Thanks

Sorry just to be clear there is a very faint second line on today's test. I've never used ovulation sticks before

You could have a faint line at any time really. You need to get in the habit of testing daily and if you're using the cheap dipstick ones, test 2-3 times a day once the lines get darker.

If it is unclear, I would highly recommend the Clearblue dual hormone digital OPK (purple one), it's around £27 on Amazon but so worth it! It is clear cut and takes any confusion out of the cheapie OPKs

If you have a faint line now but there has been nothing there before it could mean your LH is slowly increasing and should get darker over next few days. I could do one any day of the month and get a faint line - we have a baseline constant amount of LH but it just surges before ovulation.

You could also try the Premom App which you upload pictures of your OPK to and it quantified it for you x
