...But when do I have to worry about contraception, having had my baby 7 weeks ago and breastfeeding? Going to talk to GP on Monday about pill but do I need to if im not having periods? Very confused!

YES!!!

No periods is not a fool proof answer.

You need to worry about pregnancy from the time you start having sex again.

Oh right. My MW said I would be ok for ''a couple of months''. I must admit, I did think this was rather poor advice!

Thanks

Bloody midwife wants to keep herself working!!

Tis like "You can't get pregnant the first time"

A close friend fell pregnant 2 months after giving birth to her first son. She now has 2 lovely sons born 11 months apart. She also thought she couldn't get pg so soon after giving birth.

You can go on the mini pill while breast feeding.

That's what I did
