This is my first cycle TTC baby #2. Got the easy@home ovulation tests from Amazon and I’m using the premom app.
The box told me to start testing early as this is my first cycle. I started on CD 5 and both lines were quite strong, the test line was almost as dark as the control. The tests stayed almost as dark as the control line until CD 8 and since then have been getting lighter everyday until today CD11. Apparently this is the opposite of what should happen. All the videos of others peoples OPKs start very light and get darker until ovulation but mine are backwards. I’m not pregnant as we used condoms last month and I checked with a pregnancy test. Technically, as I’ve had no lines darker than the control line, they’ve all been negative but how they’ve been getting lighter as I approach my predicted ovulation has been freaking me out and I’m worried I’ve got PCOS or something. My cycles vary from 28 days long to 33 lately.
Has anyone else had dark OPKs right after your period?
