Hi everyone, really hoping someone can advise!
I had a miscarriage on December 13th, 9 weeks.
Had a D&C and have had a period since then, and now 2 days late from when that period was.

So today I have done two tests, just the standard stick ones, and at first it was definitely BFP, two lines. But gradually the PG line started to dissapear, and within about 2 mins it had completely gone.

Have done two early clearblue tests after these which were both negative, but I keep coming back to the two dissapearing lines on the other ones. DH saw it happen too, right before our eyes.

I guess the only thing I can do is see if AF arrives and test again but does anyone know what this could be??

When do the lines disappear? Within the waiting time, or afterwards?

Or in other words, at the time that you’re supposed to read the test (3 mins or 5 mins or whatever your test is), were the lines there, or had they disappeared?

Thanks @SendMeHome

They appeared as soon as I had peed on them and were there for about 30 seconds, before gradually dissapearing over about a minute and completely gone by the 5 minute mark.
So it didn't slowly arrive, it was strong straight away and slowly dissapeared over a few minutes.

Does that make sense?

@RapunzelHadExtensions It's to do with how this particular test works. This is a dye run. The dye runs from bottom to top and it stays briefly at the place where the second line would appear, because it is likely there is a small indent there. If the test had detected the hormone, the dye would bind to the test line and stay there. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case this time.
I hope you get a BFP soon! 🤞🏼 😘

Oh I see Sad
The PG line came up before the second line further up, so I'm not sure it could have run as it was the only one there at that time if that makes sense?

@RapunzelHadExtensions I don't know about the particular test you used, but it applies to all tests: you have to see a line at the recommended time for it to be valid. Anything before or after that, you should ignore. Best of luck, you are not out yet! 😉
