Okay, so on 20.1.20 I had surgical management for a mmc and I took a test on the 10.2.20 and it was negative. Since I've stopped bleeding me and husband decided to ttc again and tonight I had a urge after spotting of 3 days to take a test and this is the result. Would this be a new pregnancy or hormones left over for mmc? Not the greatest picture sorry! 😐

The timings and the fact you had you had a negative test suggest this is a new pregnancy (the pic doesn't show btw). I had a mc on 5th November, then a negative test ten days or so later, then I got a positive test on 3rd December for a new pregnancy, so less than a month later.

Thank you, I'm just confused at the moment, my mind still hasn't gotten over what's happened. I will be testing again tomorrow first thing in the morning, as this one is from the afternoon. Hopefully will start to see it go darker.

Pregnancy after loss is pretty terrifying, but you are more likely to have a successful pregnancy next time than not. Fingers crossed for you x

Thank you for the replies though, i appreciate it 😀. I wish you all the luck in the future I will take another test in the morning and just hope for the best. Yes I've read all over that having a successful pregnancy after a mc is very common

I took another test the morning, pretty much the same. Gonna give it a few days and take another one. I'm not getting my hopes up just yet

@Waterb0ttle hey hun it depends how far gone u were. I mc at 11 weeks and 4 weeks later the hcg teat is still showing a line.. try and do a pregnancy test. Did you check the hcg teat since the mc and before this new test?

Hi, I was 7 weeks when mmc. I have re done a test this morning and no line at all bfn, but I'm okay with that, I think I didn't read the negative test right or didn't give it enough time to show properly. Atleast I know where I am with it all now 😊 thanks for your help ladies. Wish you all the best x
